  • horang is a great player but he makes silly mistakes that really let him down. vs bisu and stork recently he lost reavers purely due to neglect and poor micro. at 16:25 he mistimed he zealot rush - where he only needed to wait for 30 seconds before the upgrade was done. he could have ran into main and by then the lots would have had legs....

  • Jaedong had him at one point, when the toss was down to 2 bases (natural and 12) toss committed to jaedong main entrance, where jaedong had lurks/defiler/lings etc, and he also had 2 groups of hydras at his 3rd, if he flanked instead (after he killed all the lots) instead of nydusing them through to his main, he would've destroyed the goon count as well as toss ball. Jaedong's micro seemed subpar. nonetheless props to the toss for outplaying jaedong in every aspect.

  • Jaedong goes from up a base to down a base in one rather odd muta transition. Generally when you see zerg down a base the game is just over, but jaedong kept his muta active and transitioned into a beautiful defense with defiler lurker. he has some trouble keeping the skies clear (corsairs and stormdrops gave him some trouble) but manages to hold the ground army back for 15 minutes, down a base. If it weren't for the bad muta switch early, and fast fourth, this could have been a different game

  • boring game, horang2 has the control of the game all time. Jaedong plays really bad defensive playstyle is not for jaedong

  • I saw that late in the game horange got the +25 damage reaver upgrade . Is that common? I've rarely seen it before. Also, JD was at huge disadvantage- +3 attack for horange ground when he had 0/0/0

  • @fangedcow12345 +25 damage upgrade can be either a good move or just a waste of resources depending on the situation. Firstly, it's matter of whether reaver can kill a lurker with only one shot or not. But, if zerg's upgraded its ground armour+1, it doesn't matter at all because lurker's HP is 125. However, when zerg uses ultralisks in the late of the game, it can be very effective to damage mass of ultralisks.

  • @taeksinyumwon But lurkers do already have 1 armor by default. So it will always take two hits by a reaver to kill a lurker, right?

  • Where the fuck are all the units? Toss had so many bases. Is he just toying with jaedong LOL. Seems like it. He knew he won by a long shot and he decided to make less units.

  • If he would just bring back his mutas to defense his base after he kills the protoss main base, the outcome would be different.

    srsly, horang's ability to pump out unit explosively and his play style should be observed by all tosses out there. by which i mean stork.

  • @SonyWilliam really? It was driving me nuts not seeing that many units this game. He had 3 -4 bases.

  • However in this game horang demonstrated another strategy that he took jaedong's natural expo, main base and all tech tree by sacrifying his main. GG for both player

  • . Muta harassment are devastating because once they finish with some sort of advantage like killing bunches of workers or force your attacking units retreat, they can retreat at any time to defend they main and expo in lighting fast speed with minimum amount of loss.

  • This rendered them almost infinite advantage against much less mobile protoss player.

  • nowadays zerg player almost always adopt so called "guerrilla tactic" with harassment using high mobility units such as lings and mutas.
