There was no editor, we switched this section live. The part where the mix is half and half is so that you can see the screen and the settings the hand is doing at the same time. Not the prettiest, but we felt important for learning that it was done in real time so the viewer can follow along exactly as Shea was doing. No faking it, like learning with a person right in the room with you.
One observation that I noted with my 5D2 is that the "blurred function" cannot be set when using the Canon Speed light turned on. Not sure why (new at this) but the menu will have this grayed out when trying to select it.

I don't think there is, creatvie auto as I remember, only works in the still mode.
