  • @Joseapari V stands for VICTORY. UK = United Kingdom. you must have one of the 10 000 rifles that were shipped to the UK during the cold war. that was supposed to incite a workers rebellion...guess they over estimated the moxy of the British "workers" LOL

  • just a comment on the cheapo ak's from the middle east. Alot of those are knock offs which probably have the wrong headspacing, cant shoot worth sh**, puctures primers, keyholing, trigger slap, every failure you can imagine and probably will blow up in your face. Even the richest afgan will buy at least a chinese ak.

  • a great way to remove the cosmoline is to disassemble it and to put the parts on a tray and throw them in the oven for a while, the cosmoline wille melt off and the parts should be left unhurt. :) I wouldn't recommend using that tray to cook food with afterward though.

  • That stock is not bad looking. A little sanding and a rub down with boiled linseed oil will bring out the beauty of the wood.

  • you can get a fully auto ak from middle eastern for like $150...

  • @rayd408

HA, if you actually go to the middle east to get it, you will pay less than 100 american dollars for it. the only problem? getting it back to the states without getting caught.

  • Just picked one up today. Excited to go shoot it. Good review.
