  • I love how your grand mom drives you crazy without saying anything. She is a genius and really cute! Hugs for her!

  • southern, redneck, hillbilly, and yankee has different type of tradition and meanings of it, im glad im from the southern bell. so yeah, all of them has different meanings. i have rebel flag on my phone, but i have it just for the dukes of hazzard the 80's.

  • I agree Chirs,I just love how you are with you GM. People say men like you are the bravest and strongest,I tend to agree. You stand your ground no matter what the outcome. The only thing that sets the two of us appart is,I slay demons, you shock them...LOL

  • @Lively0101 uhm...midol isn't a drug its meds for menstrual cramps, i figured u were typing grouchy comments cos you are grouchy....oh well...

  • I'm from middle Tennessee and get made fun of for being "redneck" and im NOT. yes im proud to be from Tennessee but im not nor ill never will be a "redneck".... or a "hillbilly"

  • @janiebug97 great comment.

  • @Lively0101 you alright? need some midol??

  • I agree completely Chris. I may be from the South. I may take pride in where I come from, but I am not a bigot or homophobic. I love all people, no matter what they believe. You find love with whoever you're happy with, and I will cheer you on and be supportive. Thats my philosophy.

  • effin hillbillies

  • I want to be from the south :( not for the racism y'all talk about but from my experiences -3

  • I'm from Tennessee.. Matter of fact I'm from Lynchburg Tn and its so fucking redneck and they are so judgmental and all about the bible.. If you don't fit in with that group it's like your a disease and they look at you and your family like your nothing.

  • @lawrencebean1 The experience of the World, has been when groups of people make other gruops feel like thier less than. This is only done becasue they want to feel a sense of superiority over what they consider the weaker group. Every group in the world is like this. Christians&muslims,Jews&Germans,Males&Females,People who can produce kids& those that cant,Masc&fem gays,to be truely superior one has to embrass the differences that dont measure up to their own. Other then that they are shallow.

  • I'm born and raised in TN and thankfully come from a family of people who love everyone regardless of race, sexuality, etc. :0D

  • I am from Louisiana. Totally agree.

  • AMEN!

  • Chris!! You and I are really close to each other!!! I'm in Georgia!!! :D preach the truth baby!!!!

  • You and your grandma are both cool - in different ways.

  • you can make your point without disrespecting your grandmother

  • I am from Pahokee, FL and now live in Chattanooga, TN. So the south and being southern is all I know. There are certain parts of the South that have rednecks, like where my grandmother lives (Tellico Plains, TN). But there are other parts that don't have them. You said that people from the south are religious. That is the key... they are "religious" there are few that are actually "SAVED 4 REAL" and know that REAL ministry is LOVE and ACCEPTANCE. That is the ministry and the God I know.

  • Actually I do agree with him 110%. He does have a point about southern. I myself am from the south and I don't like the Confederate flag. When people see it they stereotype and expect everyone to be just like "Rednecks." I'm proud to be where I'm from however, Most people don't want to be like that. Hillbilly comes to mind too, Which is why I choose to understand his side. Love the Betty White though! xD As I stated my opinion and I'm not here to argue. : )

  • Here, I'll say something the South that and no one else has... a state spider LOL Wolf Spiders are the Southern Spider so if yah see one... It means you're becoming a HillBilly ROFL

But me and my sister are the only one's in my entire family that sound like we're from NewYork, and we're 100%German so it doesnt make any since.

  • dood, don't be rude to your granma!

  • It's kind of pointless to wave a confederate flag...the south lost the Civil war, it's over. It's cool if you're proud to be from the south and all but before the Civil war people from the south didn't have a flag to represent them. So I honestly don't see a point to it.

  • You wave your gay pride flag. I'll wave my southern pride flag. Boom.

  • @cowbellxxxx LEAVE CROCKER ALONE!!! Seriously leave him alone. Being gay and being Southern are two totally different things.

  • The confederate flag represented the south during the confederate war, which blacks DID also fight in. Therefore, in my opinion, if u think someone from the SOUTH is racist cause they are representing their southern heritage then your ridiculous. It does NOT by any means stand for racism. Its simply a representation of where we are from. My confederate flag flies cause im proud of where i am from. People may think its racist cause slavery was the same time as the confederate war, but how in the

  • Ok i just wanna say i proudly wave my confederate flag and im damn proud to be from the south but i am NOT racist nor homophobic. I accept people for who they are. Im a southerner and proud. Im not white trash. So just cause someone waces a confederate flag does NOT mean they are racist or homophobic and if anyone thinks that, go to a history class

  • @ashleyrene2011 what does the confederate flag mean to you? because to most people, it represents racism.

  • does he live with her?!

  • There's different definitions of being redneck. As for the confederate flag,To me, it represents my home, which is Tennessee as well. This video shows your racist side The Confederate Flag was around long before the Civil War yet if we "wave" it or wear it proudly we are racist? Ever hear the phrase,"You're no better than the trash you talk about"?.Don't go off on ppl who are prejudice if you are as well.

  • i didnt know that southern americans were rascist, im mexican and i lived in tennessee for a while... maybe thats because i dont look so mexican lol

  • i loved how he got mistaken and said "this red right here" hahahahaha....

  • I'm from TN aswell(:

  • I totally have that cup. LOL.

  • LOVE THIS! This is for people that tell me that I SHOULDN'T date a white guy (I'm black) because I'm like going against my kind...(Haitian,French and got some Spanish) and I'm like WTF? And I'm Bi so most the time their fine as long as the person (guy...) is black or not white and if it's a girl she can't be white....FUCCKING SICK OF IT! -.- GROW THE FUCK UP PEOPLE!

  • There is a difference, most def, but not all rednecks hate gays. I'm from texas, originally from Nigeria, but currently attending college in GA. Ive noticed people here are more open, but still there lurks racism and controversy, like the Troy Davis issue.

  • I'm from a little old town in the south. And Chris has a very good point. Cause i'll tell you straight up i'm southern my voice gives it away. However unlike my step-dad who is a class a example of a redneck, he hates gays and is rather religious and racist. I though am open minded bi-sexual, stand up for all religions and non-racist. So yes there is a big damn difference in being southern and close minded rednecks!!

  • Chris I totally think you have a point, but if ever dared to talk to my grandma the way you talk to yours, calling her 'honey', telling her 'get it through your thick skull' etc, she would smack the disrespect out of my mouth

  • @Caryjane1 amen to that!

  • iLoveeeeeeeeeeee You!!

  • I really wish I had the courage to talk to my family the way you can talk to yours :)

  • I hate rednecks they stink good job Chris !!!!:)

  • Nothing wrong with being a redneck! Sounthern pride :)

  • I'm from Tennessee too!:) and I know what you mean about the racism, I cant go to some towns, cause the still have "kkk" groups there, and I'm Hispanic. And I'm not racist, I can't really be, but I like the rebel flag. Just because it's pretty. :)

  • THANK you. I hate when people, any kind of people, assume every Southern person is a redneck. I'm happy to call myself Southern now, but a few years ago, I purposefully lost my accent. I'm not saying I want it back, but I'm not saying if I did, I'd be ashamed still.

  • Well there are literally no homosexual people here except for me here in North Idaho there's just a bunch of homophobic assholes.

  • I'm from Tennessee, too. And I hate it because we have lots of foreign exchange students come to my school & they automatically think we're all rednecks.

  • Him and his grandmother's arguments are hilarious. There needs to be more.

  • "The only flag I'm waving is RAINBOW" :D I LOVE RAINBOWS! <3

  • Thats right tell your Grandma!lol.

  • I have those same coffee cups with the apples on them! lol

  • redneck girls n ma trucks gone wild my southern swag stretches far as a country mile, from my hat to my boots to the butts in my bag you can bet the whole farm on my country boy swag

  • @admission2pounds LOL HELL YEAH!!!SPIT THAT BIG SMO SHIT!!!

  • quit been so fuckin mean to ur grandma and i have a rebel and am i red neck and im not homafobic or that racist. and not al fuckin red necks and we owned one of the biggst slave mills in arkansas and we ar not as bad as u make it. i know more yanks that are more racist than a lot of people down here........

  • Racism has always existed in the sense that people have always been suspicious of those of different nationalities, tribes, etc. And there has always been a tendency for people to regard their own tribe, nation, society etc as superior to others. Go up to a non metropolitan city in the North you'll see mostly white people. I see more African Americans in one day than I did for a month living up in NH in FL. Metropolitan cities are going to be more open to races, sex, orientation, and beliefs.

  • I'm from TN as well...but racism is rampant all over the world, not just in the south. People that say they're Christians should remind themselves that Jesus Christ died for all people, not just a particular race. God bless!

  • chris i love you but actually the spanurds started the whole slavery shit

  • Ok im from south carolina and there are racist people and homophobic people but those kind of people are everywhere not just the south and your talkin bout rednecks being racist and all this crap and but you arent really being open minded about redneck people either so your being equally racist against redneck people.... and anytime someone hears the word redneck they think " racist, white-trash,homophobic, and rude people" which is just as much of a stereotype as when people talk about gay ppl.

  • @LuLuBoo7722 Thank you!!

  • ur grandma is so cute

  • Dude, Chris, quit bullying your grandma! :)

  • is that betty white on your shirt?:0 if it is i lovvvee it!<3:)

  • lmaaao i agree with chris

    thank you!

  • Not all rednecks are racist and homophobic.. I know a lot of southern redneck type people(being from Texas) and most of them are true genuine loving people with friends of all colors and sexual preferences..

  • Damn, have some respect for your elders.

  • southern's and redneck's are completely different. redneck people are TRASH. I'm from south carolina.. I've seen true southerns..and a whole bunch of wanna be country trashy rednecks

  • ghetto people are just as racist and homophobic, if not more than rednecks..but ur up in here acting ghetto all the time chris, they dont like ur ass either!

  • I have a confederate flag hanging in my room and its the back ground on my phone,im from georgia and i like to hunt and mud bog but im a NOT racist, homophobic or anything.I hang out with rednecks,i dated 2 black guys,i have about 10 gay friends girls/guys.I think that everyone is equal,it doesnt matter who or what you are, everyone should be treated equal....you dont get that in the south.

  • Hey man.... lay off ur Grandma. =P You don't treat ur Grandma that way....

  • Chris? I looked up to you.. But saying that rednecks are racist?! Woah, you're wrong there. I'm southern, and I probably am a little redneck, and I have many black friends. I love black people actually! I was born i Kentucky, my brothers are rednecks and they're not racist?! And HONEY, I WILL WAVE MY DAMN CONFEDRATE FLAG AROUND 'CAUSE I'M A REDNECK. Problem? Solve it. I love you, and I'm being a fan that tells the TRUTH like you said we should. So there you go.

  • Dude respect your Grandma, I don't have a problem with gays at all but your really annoying calm down.

  • also, there are racist people everywhere. there are good people everywhere too. You said it yourself, "It's not the place that makes the person"

  • "this is where it started".... actually racism didnt start in the south

  • I love the way you talk to your grandmother. lol.

  • that whole convo pissed me off... talk about rednecks being closed minded, you just stereotyped all rednecks being racist and homophobic.. think before you speak. Also, I can't believe you could ever talk to your grandmother like that. to anyone like that really. learn some respect. Woulda thought you'd learn that growing up in the south.

  • Comment removed

  • Also, there ain't nothing wrong with being religious! Southerner have every right to be proud! God bless America! God bless the south! And God bless Texas!!!!!

  • Now I'm from as far south in the u.s u can get and he/she is southern as well. If I talked to my grandma that way, she'd whip me with a bush switch. Southerners just have morals. That's what upsets him.

  • Cool how he stereotypes rednecks as racist homphobics...

  • I couldn't watch the whole thing because I hav to much respect to talk to my grandma that way....

  • What part of Tennessee is he from

  • My friend Rhodes is the biggest Redneck ive ever met. He was homophobic but not racist abviously because i am biracial but look african american. I guess you could say i "opened his mind". But he still makes fun of me for having gay pride sheets & pillows & being a "fag hag". I think its cause hes secretly gay -.-

  • There's nothing wrong with loving where you come from either. I have a Confederate flag in my room, not because of any of the things you said, but because I love where I come from.

  • I could not agree more! I love you for this, hahaha. Fuck some rednecks, stupid shit.

  • oh yea your experience when you where growin up if way ficking different from nowaday

  • honey ima country girl&i got redneck friends&they are not rasict wht your sayin is well hypocrital&it sound like your gran is a southern gurl lik myself&i love gay pep's my best friend if freakin gay&i take him whenever i need to do some shoppin&i really take him for dress shopin lol we have dont really have a racal problems where i live&its augusta GA&if there is some we settal it&dont say all red necks are rasict&homophobic bc i was bi&i dated rednecks they didnt care no1 did so dont be hip.!

  • Haha your being a hypocrite, your targeting 'rednecks' saying their racist and shit, when thats being a bigot aswell. Most people in the south don't hate black people, more black people live in the south than anywhere else in the country (Atlanta, New Orleans, Baton Rouge) And the Confederate flag was doesn't symbolize anything with slavery, it symbolizes the way of life back then. Rebellion against the corrupt overpowering North, much like our government is today.

  • I loved the rainbow flag part X3.

  • Woahhhh dude/chick I am from Texas and I am religious but it's not ridiculous:( what is RIDICULOUS is you being such a idiot and thinking everyone from the south is racist and all that other stuff but you know what I am for a fact A HOMOPHOB and I am proud of it!!!! last time I checked it was Adam and Eve NOT Adam and Steve!!!! jeeezzzz

  • Omg, my grandmother would've smacked me with her air tank . xD

  • "This wreck right, this neck right here is not red darling."

  • @videofreakboy91 WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?

  • @iiHatezDomii he reminds me of his old self here, that is all

  • I love when u argue with ur grandma:)

  • ik a gay guy from texas!!

  • There is a problem being gay

  • Lol first the converter situation now this aww you guys crack me up

  • It's just Chris's opinion based on his experiences where he lived. It's not wrong, its just limited. I think he respects his grandmother because its almost like they are playing. She's indulging his video rant and playing along. I think she's pretty cool. A Chris, you're a fascinating character. I don't always agree with what you say or how you act but you are interesting.

  • thank you chris crocker!!

  • LOL im from texas and i am FARRRRRRR from being a southern redneck hick, i live in the city!!

  • u and your grandma don't get along do you? i don't get along with my grandma either

  • I'm from Louisiana and I'm far from being a Redneck. LOL.

  • they opened up a new gay rehab center you should check it out....

and yes im redneck and proud. [X]

  • i have lived in a small town in the south all my life and it is TORTURE. Especially if your different than most people. lol. the south is infested with mainly judgmental, hypocritical, racist, sexist, homophobic illiterates. i am a girl and i am never treated fairly. i have been bitching about it for years and no one understands. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO.

  • Be nice to your granny! :(

  • You hit the nail right on the head! I was born in the south, but in no way, shape, or form am I a redneck! I don't subscribe to the whole "southern pride" thing either. And you're right when you say the place doesn't make the person. There are a shitload of homophobic and racist people up north, trust me. I thought it was supposed to be more progressive up here, but, in Ohio at least, some people are even worse than southern rednecks!

  • I'm a gay redneck.

  • FYI , you can be a redneck & not be a biget , racist person :)

  • @MandahhR09 But you can't be a redneck and spell properly

  • my god, you're a bitch to your grandmother.

stop it. jesus... just cause you have your own beliefs doesn't mean you gotta wave your arms around screamin' at your grandma cause you're so important. shut the fuck up, you talk too much.

  • your grandmother is adorable

  • uhh all i gotta say is respect ur elders bro

  • your grandmother just eating snacks and casually debating like she doesn't give a shit is wonderful

  • Sweetheart, I think you make some really good points, but I'm just really distracted by how disrespectful you are to your grandmother. How can someone share an opinion with you when you shut her up rather than hearing her out? The only way we can have a productive discussion is if each person gets equal chances to express their thoughts...

  • Unfortunately there are hateful and ignorant people everywhere Chris. In the south, north, east, and west. On the other hand there are also good people everywhere also... it just depends on the person more so than the location.

  • Do you always argue with ur grandma? x)

  • Sure but know that not just rednecks from the south are homophobic,"hunny"So go ahead and wave you're pretty little rainbow flag. But remeber to have fun when you're with Satan ya'hear?

  • You are an idiot. I'm pretty sure that is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. You are so stereotypical.

  • Finally!!!!! Someone gets my point, I'm from the south too and it's atrocious with how they fact. I'm not ashamed with being southern either, just not everyone wants to be down right dirty. You have class and a brain, makes me love you even more!!-33

  • Haha, I don't live in the south so I can't talk really. I mean, the most eastern southern states aren't as bad as my visits in the more mid southern states. I lived in Texas for two weeks and it's like you can feel the animosity in their stares alone, as they try to mask it in a fake happy "howdy". It's mostly the older generation of course, and not all people are like that. But I have to agree on your general synopsis

  • There's nothing wrong with supporting your heritage and waving a rebel flag. I think you're pathetic for again, steryotyping people.

  • haha fuck you, i don't see anything wrong with being a redneck, southern, or waving a confederate flag. its called being proud of your history not being racist and ignorant.

believe me if theres any racist people in my small town they'd get beat up cause we dont deal with that shit here.

the southern people make their own decisions on how they wanna live just like you do. so stop stereotyping people.

  • You know, a lot of people are saying that people need to respect their elders. But, his Grandmother didn't give him any sort of reason to respect her...I don't know about you all, but I don't respect people who don't deserve it, and it appears to me that Chris's grandmother doesn't deserve his respect, at least in his eyes. Do you honestly feel that she deserves respect in this instance?

  • I don't think being homophobic or a redneck is the issue here, I think the real issue is that you're potentially making your own grandmother look close-minded by forcing words into her mouth. If YOU disrespect her, others will think they can too.

It might be the norm for people to make internet videos now but there's still a world outside full of kooks. If you make her look bad, they may just get dangerous. Protect your grandmother, for God's sake, she's more important than your crusades.

  • RESPECT UR FUCKING GRANDMOTHER YOU DUMB FUCKING BITCH. LITTLE FUCKING PRICK GAY ASS FAG. go get raped by a black guy and stop cussing at her. prick.

  • Hey louisianna is my hometown, we aintz racist okay, there are white ppl there who r racist and no there not like chris, they worst they act like black ppl dont belong here but they do

  • Im from new orleans which is down south sooo I dont kno what to feel right now

  • I'm from Louisiana^^

We're the South of the South, I'm not ashamed.

I'm also almost everything that goes against Prejudice/racist/homophobic people, I'm not ashamed of that either!

I don't like close-minded people. The ones walking around all self-righteous, looking down on others and using being from the South as an excuse..

I think they should learn that the past is THE PAST.. and try to teach their children better.

    :)

We have the same chairs♥ And you should be nicer to your mawmaw Chris!

  • He has an amazing point. As far as I'm concered the confederate flag can be ripped to shreds and be burnt. Because I sure as hell will not be associated with rednecks or southern pride. NOR will I be a part of any religeon, GO CHRIS! I love youu!

  • OMG I <3 C.Crockerr !!

  • Haha. I get called a redneck all the time down here we wave are flag and carry on lol

  • If you think Tennessee Is bad . . Come to louisiana!! You'd deff be raisin' some hell!

  • funny

  • Love your shirt(:

  • I agree. Us in the South are labeled as "racists" just because we're raised here. I love the South.

  • Can't we all just grow up and let it go that the south used to have slaves and be racist? I live in Texas and I assure you that maybe one out of 500 or more people is actually a redneck. The world has evolved Chris, and so should your dispositions to southern people

  • I love Tennessee

  • I don't think you should speak to your grand mother like that Chris, have this conversation with a person and record it. I think it would be great to see.

  • I live in Kentucky and there are plenty of people that I go to school with who are just like what Chris is talking about. I know that I am from the south technically but I choose not to be a redneck or racist or homophobic. But I also choose not to discriminate against people who don't believe the same things as me like some rednecks.

  • ok, this guy is kind of a retard, and he is contradicting himself wherever he turns. and how does she stand that waste of DNA? and someone please kill me because i cant stand his voice.

  • ok i used to like you, but then i saw this..go shove a confederate flag up your butt and kiss mine! Southern Pride <3

  • i tried to give you a link but couldn't send you a message :) Just research the origination of the confederate flag in google and click on the first link. :)

  • @lologirl i don't really have time for haters like you what i'm trying to say though is yes it does to some people represent racism but also TO ME it represents the south not slavery nothing like that i came here to offer my opinion to CHRIS not you so go SWEETIE someone else who doesn't know what they are talking about. Me and my dad have been studing the civil war for years so maybe your the one that needs to check their history ok?! You don't know me and i don't know you so we cant judge us.

  • @TheJazz3698 WTF your the last person i wanna fucking hate on bro so take that weak ass shit some where else

I ment no disrespect by what i said

and it doesnt matter if you studied the civil war , beacuse guess what? shit was occuring in the south before the civil war. So what your saying doesnt matter and its irrelevent. Btw i never said it represented slavery i said it represented the old south

  • @lologirl789 tho slavery was a part of the old south. i hate when people try to justify the confederate flag. It was a flag that represented old southern ways which included slavery and lowering women's worth. They can try and make it look good all they want but it doesn't work. 9/10 someone who carries a confederate flag around is racist, and/or homophobic, and/or sexist, etc..

  • @dancesonpoles EXACTLY!!!!!!! THANK YOU

  • @TheJazz3698

If you think just trying to inform you is a way of 'judging' than you got shit twisted

i'm not judging anyone what sooo ever. I'm not attacking anyone whatsoever.

  • I don't necessarily agree with this video.I am from Tennessee as well and I love living in the south.. However it possesses negative qualities just like any other place. By living here, you do tend to live in areas that are predominantly religious. I am religious also, but I was always taught to love everyone no matter what..As for racism, it's everywhere..not just in the south. Honestly, I don't feel like anyone who was/has been raised in the south should be ashamed of it. Bigots are everywhere

  • i love you chris but the confederate flag DOES NOT mean that your racist. That pissed me the hell off ok! The confederate flag is in recognition of THE SOUTH where you are from. Racism doesn't mean you are a red neck, nor does being from the south and in that way i applaud you but please do not mistake that the confederate flag means racism. My family has a confederate flag hanging in there living room yet me and my mom wore purple on gay day which if i'm not mistaken makes us a non-homophobe.

  • @TheJazz3698 Sweetie i'm sorry to disappoint you but yes it might recognize the south and 'southern pride' however due to the old ways of the south and what they stood for back in the day of the civil war and so forth, it does have a history of equating to racism. Check your history.

  • @TheJazz3698 and by the way just beacuse you wore purple on 'gay day' which isnt what its even called its called PRIDE WEEK, it doesnt mean that your not a homophobe..its the exact samething if you had a black friend that dosent mean your not racist.

  • i love Chris ..this is so true .. <3 XO CHRIS.

  • Comment removed

  • I love his grandma cuz she don't even ear you aushuashuahsuahsuahs

  • :-/ Religious and ridiculous? I hope you meet more religious people that will give you a positive experience with it... I was taught to love everyone and not to judge personally.

  • If I ever spoke to my grandmother like that, she would have grounded me.

  • Most of it has to do with RELIGION, and especially southern Baptist and evangelicals [white, black, etc.] who're VERY obsessed with religion, and the literal interpretation of the bible. Also, the south is traditionally more rural [and poor] compared to other areas of the U.S.

There are 'bad' people EVERYWHERE, and they come in ALL colors, genders, sexual orientations, religions, etc.

  • I am from the South I live in Tennessee and yes we have REDNECKS here but I dont think your redneck

  • thats not necessarily true i moved to from Atl to Connecticut i have never seen racism until i moved her. probably because i lived in the city and most of connecticut is just the middle of nowhere (there were 5 black people in my school). i think racism or homophobia is everywhere in the country but is less tolerated and and accepted in more populated areas like cities where there is a more diversity of people

  • @cheergirlielol

The black population of the U.S. is 12-13%. The black population in the southeast, especially the deep south, is MUCH higher. Some southern states are 25-30% black and many southern cities have a majority black [not minority, just black] population. Black folks especially from majority black areas of the south should understand most of the U.S. has a MUCH smaller black population.

  • You said it Chris

  • "And they're religious and ridiculous." hahaha. I get what he's saying. I'm from South Carolina and the people here are super closed minded about everything. They're just too stuck in their ways.

  • amen.

  • lol! I love you. I live in PA but, I love close to West Virginia, and some of the people there are the same way. It gets so damn annoying when people parade around with the Southern Flag, and some of the kids at my school that live in the "Mountains" are extremely judgemental and homophobic. The typical kids that drink beer almost every night, and think women belong in the household, etc. But, It's ridiculous and that's a huge reason why I don't like rednecks. Very judgemental and close minded.
