  • @fatsomamacheese

Sorry if I made you nauseous. Lots of stuff on youtube makes me nauseous. :-)

  • @morpher44 hah, very true. At least yours had a good point eh?

  • great video!

just thought I'd share a link to a related video, just in case you haven't seen it:

    /watch?v=jBo0DlIhd40

Yes I had seen Nassim's talk. Two points: In my case I put the center in the center. So the center can be put where-ever you want it (relativity). Also, Nassim noticed the artifacts .. but didn't attribute them to pixelization. In thinking about it, though, as you approach the molecular scale, the molecules may behave like pixels and cause SNAPPING into certain regions ... just like a pixel.

  • That distortion is caused by the Horizontal and Vertical Lines in your monitor!

what are you programing in? Nice Effect, if you can use delphi/pascal I'll send you some cool code I wrote years ago!

  • @TheTempestSpark

Its a puzzle to me that the distortion doesn't appear with different colors. Part of what we are seeing here may be optical illusion. The code is written in C to native Windows APIs ... I might re-write it in Java or as a Java Applet if I have time.
