Ayo kid its great you listen to violent femmes and all but rape and hip-hop are not synonymous. Their is a huge mis-conception that hip-hop is all about violence and women, no, hip-hop is one of the most poetic and lyrical genres out there. The only hiphop you see is on tv. Look up immortal technique - you never know, its up to you, but I bet you if you listen hard enough to the lyrics you'll cry or come close to it after hearing it,

I agree but Immortal also includes the use of scratching in his some of his songs, and Disc Jockeys are one of the four elements of hip hop. Plus rap = rhythm and poetry which is pretty much emceeing, another element of hip-hop, so arguably Tech is hip/hop rap
