  • Teachers do not need you to coach them! They need for you to remove the loud, disruptive, kids from their classes!

Furthermore, most educational coaches are people that could not handle the classroom, so they quit and moved up to become "arm-chair quarter-backs" for the rest of their lives!

  • Hahaha the start with the test then teach to it. Which in the end teaches the child nothing! But it does improve numbers! Yay let's ruin education!

  • @dcreyes330 Not even that works. I know a teacher that warned her students that there would be a test the next day. She wanted them all to get an A, so she went over the EXACT, SAME PROBLEMS, step-by-step.

The result: The typical Bell Curve!

Another time, she actually wrote the FORMULAS on the board, all they had to do was plug in the variables, and . . . some of them still couldn't do it!

    Geez!

  • I'd like to see a reality show where Michelle Rhee teaches Remedial Math at a junior high in the inner-city! 5 classes with 35 students each! 5 days a week for at least 3 months! Then, a panel of education experts can critique her teaching!

Arm-chair quarterback? Back-seat driver? Delusions of grandeur?

  • @MsJanetWood She said it herself, "Being a chancellor is not the most difficult I have ever faced. Being a teacher 5 days a week is far more difficult." She knows that there are a lot of great teachers, she's just want to get rid of the ineffective ones.

  • @dcreyes330 @dcreyes330 Is she even qualified to EVALUATE teachers?

This is a lady that once put masking tape on her students to keep them from talking! She took some kids on a field trip after school without permission slips!

She doesn't even have a teaching credential! She should get her teaching credential and do her student teaching. What is student teaching? That is when you teach for free for a period of 6 to 8 months.

I want to see her attempt to get a teaching credential!

  • @MsJanetWood I did the research about the masking tape and about the field trip. I only found the masking tape. The field trip was rewarding four students for good behavior. She claimed that she was being creative because the class was uncontrollable.

The test score is improving. (I'm skeptical myself, ineffective teachers can give the answers to the students in order to keep they're jobs.)

  • black culture is the true problem. black kids should not have to have it imposed on them to work hard, not steal and not be a menace to society. this should be built into their culture and come from their parents. black culture glorifies a lack of education, violence, promiscuity, etc. and that's the REAL problem that no one is talking about

  • @theherdmentality, Well dude you want to talk about people having a problem, dude you have some frightening issues and this racist mentality you have is a problem why? It glorifies, fear, hatred, and violence because you hate people because of nationality, skin color, religion, and etc. Make that racists like you is how scumbags like Hitler, Vlad Tepes, Mostafa, Heinlich Hinler and all of the scum bags that existed

  • The video is certainly a picture of how we are "destroying" the fabric of education in our City and Country. Test scores are certainly no picture of how one writes, speaks, articulates, writes a resume. These graduates?? How prepared are they to meet the workforce. Are we promoting political figures in our schools or are we educating the youth? For many of us our purpose in life has been to educate, but we have not been heard nor respected in this school system. What is ahead for our youth?
