i was there 4 2 weeks with the georgia forestry commission on the knee knocker fire in nahunta and the locals were great god bless all the people that had a hand in beating the monster.
I spent two days there with Lowndes County Fire Rescue. I'll tell you this, we couldn't have done what we did without the support of the residents of Waycross and Ware County. Ya'll kept us fed and watered so we could do what we do. Thank You.
Ohh My Gosh That Was The Worst Like Month Of My Life Man. Thnx To ALL Firefighters Yall Saved My House From Burning Down...The Fire Started At My Friends Papa's House Me And Her Always Joke About Be Where The Biggest Fire In GA Was!!!!!
I was there when/where it all started. I live on the other side of the highway. The monster jumped over and we all panicked. We packed up a few belongings and our pets and I called my Dr. to postpone my hysterectomy. Thank God for the BRAVE fire fighters, we didn't have to leave. A good friend from high school lived in the middle of it. She was lucky...Her mother, Grandmother, and aunt, on the other hand.... If it hadn't been for God..., I don't even like thinking about what could've been.
This is a very touching tribute to the ones who fought so hard to save our homes...i could see most of these views from my back door...It just came too close to home!! Words cannot express my appreciation...Thanks so much!!
Thank you for this video. It is heart touching to see all the firefighters and forestry that put their lives on the line to safe some one. We don't give them enough praise. I was in the fire in Long County and came really close to loosing my home. I have family that live in Waycross and their homes were safed several times.
Thank you Becky for this wonderful tribute and greetings from the USFS Gulf Coast Wildland Forestry Firefighters,Region 8 (De Soto and Conecuh Natl Forests Alabama ). Glad to have helped.
For all those who suffered such an incredible loss, and those who choose to live in such beautiful areas of this potential... I have created a device found on my website 3w'sdothftfirebusterdotcom to allow home owners that added edge of SAFETY and SECURITY whether from a pool or a stationary tank. This retired Fire Captain feels for all of you and yours! Be SAFE! ...and get out while you can with protection you need!
My husband works for corrections fire services and has been home only 5 days since April 17th. Please pray for rain so that he can return to his family.
This is to Jimmy and all his crew and to the Ware county crew, God bless you. and to all the countys that came forth to help in this Monster. I know we sent some man power from our Dept. My heart and my prays are with ya'll every step of the way.
Awesome video! Our prayers & thanks go out to everyone battling the "Monster", it is slowly being defeated. Those brave men & women working on the frontlines are fearless & their work is greatly appreciated. I say we give them a round of applause... Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap, Clap
Awesome video! Theyve all done a wonderful job! The battle rages on, but the "monster" is slowly being defeated. Our prayers & thanks go out to all those battling on the frontline, as well as those battling on the backline.
