Hey, nice setup.. I'm in charge of the light team at my church and we're just getting started, when it comes to uplifting, washes, and parcans what do you reccommend? and is all of this DMX? how much did everything cost? thank you! God bless.

@itsdarellcuh Hey for uplighting I would recommend led pars or some led panels. I would not recomend using LED Pars to light the people on stage, unless you want to spend a bunch of money. ETC consoles are really only good at theater stuff. If you're running more than just dimmers then you need a more complex board. Avolites Pearl 2010 does a much job with movers and costs less than newer ETC boards.

@slaction Yea I agree !...But i wasn't tha one that bought tha board!...lol we do, do Theater stuff more than concert stuff actually so i think thats why the church bought it , I wasn't working there when they did!...(: Cuz i would've prefer ayy more complex board as well for what were doing.

@XXChrisXxRedXX I got ya. Don't get me wrong, I really like the newer ETC boards, and I'd buy one but the retail price is too high and you don't see a lot of newer model ETC boards on the used market.
Anyway, the show is really good. The only thing I'd change is keeping the lights from hitting the screen (assuming it's a projector screen).

@slaction haha yea but i was just messing around, if it was a real service i def wouldn't have (: .... and yea i agree etc hasn't really came out with any new boards...hopefully soon we can switch to a martin one...Dat be Something :D

Our church just got the Ion board and 4 Mac 250 Krypton's. They are some sweet lights and I love running our board!

We use "ETC" for our lighting board...it comes in handy big time!!!!
