  • OMG why everyone just give a negative comments about beating elephant ??

First of all elephant ranked No.4 smartest animal in this planet. And yes that giant hook look scary but elephant have really thick skin that's why Thais use it. Thailand and elephant have a long history and mostly 1 elephant will have 1 person to take care and of course Thais Love Elephants

  • What the hell is thighland? Dumb narrator.

  • Ohhhh!! My god, how lovly is.♥♥

  • first, before screaming about the conditions elephants living in- look at the conditions people live there.

second, i see it all the time that with love you can teach more then with abuse, so if this is what elephant can do being abused-think what they are REALLY capable of!!! before this show for me they were just cute water splashing, mud rolling animals, seeing them paint changed it forever!

    BRAVO elephants!

  • animals are abused in thailand.

in thailand they beat dogs with sticks before they kill them and eat them. im thailand they believe the more pain an animal feels before it dies the better it will taste. its sick

  • elephants ARE NOT abused in thailand

beside, only a tiny fraction on thai people eat dogs

and i've never heard of beating them up before eat them. i'm thai too, you see

  • some people are just stupid..... I have never even heard of an elephant beeing treated badly in Thailand, not once....

  • as far as i have seen none eat dogs im sure some do but ..... i never seen that. maybe out in the countryside if they need the food but she is acting like you walk down the street of BKK and they are selling dog on a stick and beating elephants..... she had 5 dogs .... before she had them lunch... now they are only poo:( what a waist

  • @RickSomchai parts of northern Thailand do eat dog, but the culture is dying out. People can eat what they want. As for elephants--yes, the elephant is a cultural symbol in Thailand, but taming and training methods are brutal. The government has barely made an effort to ensure elephant welfare. Clearly, the abuse these elephants endure is kept a secret to the public, but if you do some research on taming methods you will see that you should not be supporting elephant tourism and captivity.

  • What the fuck are you saying? your a fat ass stupid fuck!!! thai people do not hurt animals elephants are treated like family your just pissed off coz you make the elephant look skinny. your such a fat fucking looser Go eat some more donuts...

  • i wrote that like 5 monthes ago and your responding to it now?

thats the best thing you have to say is say im fat?

wow you are lame, i have friends who have been to thailand and have told me about their culture and how they abuse animals.

maybe you should make a point to responding instead of pointing fingers at somthing that has nothing to do with the video

  • You have no clue as to what your saying thai also dont eat dogs WTF is wrong with you? Your friends are lieing to you i live in Thailand they dont eat dogs and beat elephants many even worship the elephant the point is your talking about people and downing them when you dont even know there culture or the truth this is why so many other countrys look at americans like stupid fat slobs coz so many open there mouths without thinking

  • And for the record I did not know you where really a fat person untill now hope your self of steam is not shot... just you have no clue about how offensive what you said was to a thai person. its like saying to a black person their slaves and cotton pickers, you just dont say this. your friends are full of shit or on crack...

  • Wow. Elephants performing degrading, unnatural tricks for clueless tourists. I am SO impressed-- NOT.

I'd much rather see them behaving NATURALLY, not doing acts thought up by humans who only want to make money from them.

And do visitors see their living conditions? Their chains, and crappy living quarters? This isn't much better than other kinds of work, trust me.

Better to visit a real sanctuary where they are allowed to just be themselves, like the Elephant Nature Park.

  • The elephants perform out of fear. To "train" an elephant they are abused and starved until they comply with the trainers. They are hooked and stabbed with bullhooks. These are sad broken creatures that perform because if they dont they will be harshly beaten.

  • yeah it may seem cruel to treat the elephants like this but this is a better livlihood for the people that work with the elephants.

  • how much do you really know about it???

thai elephants are treat with care and love

    for mahouts, elephants are family

and you don't beat your family up

  • maybe in some places but not in thailand or anyother southeast country in Asia

  • Thai and Loas people rule

  • Been there recently! Oct 11, 2007. Please watch my amateur video of the same show. It's on my channel titled Maesa Elephant Show.

  • Holy shit, that elephant paints way better than I ever could, an excelent show. I would pay to see that. 5 stars.

  • I wonder how much they had to beat the elephants to train them to do that crap.

  • fascinante, estos animales son muy inteligentes y no olvidan ni el menor detalle, a veces se trnan muy peligrosos cuando se calientan, pero no dejan de ser muy simpáticos
