  • music nabiso he limue

  • The version I know, Luambo Makiadi sings. I love the song, though. The translation is spot-on, as I recall how a friend from Shaba Province translated it for me.

  • Thumbs up Luambo.Good and cool music. This the time that music was music.

  • RIP PAPA NGOZULU

  • RIP PAPA NGOZULU

  • Awesome

  • Vocals Dalienst ya Ntesa, Lola Checain, Madilu System, and Aime Kiwakana. Great job!

  • Love brewed in an African port-sounds familiar

  • Nalangwisi ye maman.

Hahahaha. This used to make me laugh when I was a kid.

  • Quelle belle chanson d'amour, et j'invite toute mamans de pasta soupou suivent ba nzembo ya bolingo !!!!

  • Ya Ntesa, que ton ame repose en paix.

  • l'un des plus grand musicien congolais !!!

  • Im just 25 but I really like this song..

  • Fabulous.

  • This my sang ,i remember my youth in kenia

  • ...it makes me wonder. is he singing for tangawizi soda or a lady called tangawizi????...this song reminds me Alfa Sierra of imara Daima. he can sing this song forward and backward without catching his breath!!!!!!,...btful song.

  • No in this song it's the mistress who's dissing her lover's wife by saying that her lover's wife got dumped because she couldn't take care of her husband like she should've.but when her lover comes to her, she makes him food seasoned with ginger root (tangawizi)that's why her lover is totally crazy for her. this mistress means she deeply

take care of her lover that's why the guy ran away from his wife. that's pretty much what the song says.

  • sikonge are you talking about elongi ya cherie?

  • Yes. This is what i'm talking about. Got this song?

  • my dad use to love this song, i remember when i was young jumping in his car, that was the song being played, it always reminds my dads soul. Thanks BEWARD for posting it!!

  • @miminawewe......definately u r right! VOK did enough marketing justice on this song.

  • The DJ called Anunda Sakwa (at VoK) always played this song whenever he was on duty as from 5 am

  • Hi all TPOK fans. Anybody can tell me the song " ILUNGA YA CHERRY" if not mistaken was a big hit in ealry 80, what is the tittle? I'm badly looking for it. Thanx in advance.

  • TRIBUTE TO" MADILU SYSTEM"....BIALO MAKESE REST IN PEACE- 1950-2007.

It's with great sorrow the zairean music and whole world at large is mourning the passing away of this great vocalist who passed away on Saturday,August 11.

R.I.P. See him on this clip @0.42 TO 0.59.

  • Frnaco is a cut above any other musician, on this song and many others he was willing to take a back seat and let others do it all. Such was his confidance in his ability no other musician today ever does this. Also the reason why none of the musicians from tp ok or any other can make this kind of sound is simply Franco was a one off even without him playing u can still tell if a song was arranged by HIM.

  • the writer of this song was not franco but Nedule papa noel(papa nono)and his playing guitare in this song as well.

  • U must have misunderstood my comment my friend. As u can see Franco is in the crowd on this song, but can argue the fact that he had a hand in the song arrangement and also the fact that ever since his death the sound u are hearing now in most if not all the songs of tp ok has ceased to exist?

  • The singers are from left to right Dalienst Ya Ntesa, Lola Checain, Madilu and the one to the right... I do not know his name? Gerry Dialungana is a solo guitarist top right guitarist(s)one of them.

  • yes,I agree.

Also,he was the same person who sung Muzi

  • Dalients Ntessa best piece was Nzazi-- Listen to this in Ndori market in December of 1980

  • Grand Ntesa Dalienst....wasnt he the same person who sung: Bina Na Ngai na respect?

  • Man! i grew up listening to this kinda music. Kinda weired how Kenyans luv this music and yet we dont know what the shiet they are saying in kilingala!

Brought very fond memories. TPOK jazz was BIIIIG!!!

  • I think no other radio station in the world played this song like KBC, (VOK) by then.

  • I remember Jo Shinner playing this song 15 years ago, ok jazz at their very best, and a great dance track

  • Thank you mate,I like the song.

  • Isn't one of the vocalists Madilu System?

  • Yes it is Madilu at that time he just joined Franco in TPOK Jazz.

  • hehe, I wasn't even born then.

  • and the other one should be Lola Checain, I think. The bassist is Mpudi Decca

  • Left most unsung hero of TPKO Gerry Dialungana

  • Is that Gerry next to Mpudi Decca? Who is the guitarist next to Papa Noel?

    Awesome! Thanks, Bedward, for posting.

  • Grand Ntesa Daliens...Awesome.

  • Sadly he died in 1996
