I recently discovered and learnt about "Kwanzaa". I think it is so simple but at the same time so beautiful & true. Although I am not of African origin, I wish everyone I know "Happy Kwanzaa" this year as I can relate well to the principles which I find a lot more true than how most people in my own culture celebrate Xmas. I recently discovered and learnt about "Kwanzaa". I think it is so simple but at the same time so beautiful & true. Although I am not of African origin, I wish everyone I know "Happy Kwanzaa" this year as I can relate well to the principles which I find a lot more true than how most people in my own culture celebrate Xmas. Kwanzaa is not a religion. Its a celebration of African Tradition & culture started in America in 1966. It was created to unite Blacks everywhere in the world outside of Africa so that they can celebrate their African Heritage. Whites hate it though because it dosnt involve them. Its really peaceful & productive for the youth.Instead of Santa they are encouraged to make gifts by hand. Beautiful concept.
