  • Thanks for this. It was a lot of help. :)

  • If this tutorial was to show some people how to use the tools in photoshop, then it was okay. If this is a tutorial of an effective way to remove fly away hair, then I don't think it's hit the mark at all. There were various other way's and tool's you could have used way before distorting the image with liquidfy. Not hating just saying, and TBF you did post this nearly a year ago! :)

  • Who's that chick? She's cute.

  • Dude, way to get it done :-)

  • "im not sure what that is but we try to flatten it out too" lol um tha is part of the stray hair you deleted so you can see them again this guy is a kook

  • how come every time i watch a video turtorial on refine edge it seems perfect until i actually do it with the same settings?

  • fun stuff...liked the way he teaches....

too bad the students on here are rude...or jealous

  • I would use these tool on sketch mistakes rather than fly away hair unless you want to change background i would still replace the hair as is best as natural it was in the first place. unless u promoting hairgel the whole hair 'removal' is not necessary. It's good for an example how particular tools work as i never actually knew what the liquify tool was intended to do and the way layers can be used to 'enhance'.

  • so what is this? Is this a tutorial to teach people somethings or is it a showoff "look everybody how fast I am"

-much to fast to learn somthing

-I'm getting dizzy from your 'mouse arrow' (how do you name that in English :-) )

    -and o my god........wat a boring voice............

Never to come back to your tutorials.......

  • @harrebakkes i just agree with you! the worst here is his voice! sounds like an answer machine!

  • it looks stupid after lol

    sorry ² say

  • Oh no I was hoping to learn how to keep those all of her hair.

  • Try again...I can do a much better job than you boet.

  • Oh my, very disappointing. I liked the more natural look before he used the refine edge and liquify filter.

  • this is shit man

  • A viable technique though it still needed a bit more work. Something I've always found interesting about Photoshop is that if you ask ten different people to solve the same problem you will likely get ten different answers with similar results.

  • my granny would do better tutorial that this

  • Need to speak up and speak into the mic, I can't hardly hear anything said..

  • it looked way more natural and pretty before you did anything to it..

  • well it's useful.....i guess :/

  • Why the fuck would I remove the natural windblowing hair that actually gives some action to the picture?! Tehh, what a waste

  • @kimjohnsen113 in some instances this could be useful, for fashion fotos just as an example. Thes technique used was really worth knowing.

  • this tutorial is for kids!

  • sans the sweet selection tool in cs5 this is all noobish, if this guy gets favorites, I deserve my own horde of zombie sluts... that don't have a taste for my blood, just noobish photoshop know it all turds.

  • those hairs could have easliy been cloned out without going through the hassle of the selection

  • I'd be more interested in how to select those hairs.

  • Not bad. Seems like every fly-away tutorial I find uses the easiest, most ideal backgrounds to demonstrate the technique. Also, using the excuse, "It isn't perfect, but you get the idea" just seems lazy to me. Even "slightly less than perfect" on retouching tips like this creates unrealistic results that can make or break the image. I rather see you talk about the technique and then speed up the video and show "perfect" results.

  • a long process it was... can be done in more easier way!

  • Looks 'shopped.

  • I don't think these hairs should be removed

  • Brillant thank you!

  • hey boss whay did you chose difficult way?

cs5 has been improved refine edge as well, we hadn"t have before .we don"t need clone stamp tool,

    anyway thanks

  • I'm the same as chavelor, stamp tool not working

  • @mikmc @chavelor

use the alt button to select which part you want to clone then you can use the stamp.
