the new macbook air is just 0.04 inch thicker at it's thickest point, and it tapers all the way down to 0.11 inches. Plus the Macbook air has a faster processor, much better graphics, bigger SSD, and higher resolution screens than the Adamo.

So the new macbook air owns dell in every way.

Both have advantages, but overall I prefer Macbook Air. Adamo is thinner, equally if not more sexy (subjective), but the Air is cheaper, much lighter in weight, much more powerful, the list goes on.

Lets not forget the Adamo is better in terms of I/O options, with the air basically only having a headphone jack, 1 usb, and a video out.

Plus, the Air can run Win 7 and OSX, the Adamo cannot run OSX. Flexibility wise, the air is better as well.

Yeah, but even though I never thought I would say this, the MacBook Air is truly a better value. The 9400m can play GTA 4, not well but ok. The integrated in the Adamo can't even play Call of Duty and thats way less intense. The MacBook is faster and even though I don't think it looks as good, its got a much more sturdy design.

How exactly did mac os x copy the dock!? Windows 7 was the first version of windows to include anything similar to a dock and that was released this year.  Mac os x has had a dock way longer than that.

The Adamo is really over engineered because it is neither a desk or laptop. This machine is supposed to be taken on travels etc. but please tell me how to get that rocky thing to sit on my lap during a flight or anywhere else for the matter. This machine is at best very unhandy.

air isnt thinner. it only looks thinner because the air closes at a point where the adamo is rectangular all the way around. but the adamo at the center is thinner than the air is at its center

Because the lines on the Air are designed to trick the eye in to thinking it's thiner.

they accomplished that by making it thiner on the edges.

Honestly, I feel like the ball was dropped on the Adamo. Lower spec'd at a similar price, and other than ports and design, there really wasn't much setting it apart. They couldn't even pull off the removeable battery(which both the Envy and MSI X340/320 managed to pull off).

It really should've weighed in at a significantly decreased price. A luxury laptop that can still be affordable would've been a great idea. Instead, they came late to the game with an underwhelming piece.

lol yeah hey thanx for the friend invite my dude. they say the macbook air is faster but thats just like 40 second delay like thats a big difference i know this guy. that built his own studio 15 and bought a macbook air and prefered the dell studio 15 cause of there customizable agility to create your own* laptop the way you want it. macbook comes plain and simple* with the damn overused apple logo design, it gets rather old lol.

did you know you can uprgrade the adamo to a 2.53 ghz processor? and then theres the dell one 19 xps laptop that is way ahead of an apple macbook, touchscreen sensitive, and dont tell me, they invented toouchscreen with the iphone cause touchscreen was invented way before the iphone was trying to crawl. apple products are just expensive thats all. thus making it look fancy or whatever.

Thickness: The Air may be slightly thicker, but it doesn't look it. Adamo also weighs an extra Pound.

Performance: Adamo: 1.2 GHZ processor - running vista wouldn't be to good. Air: 1.86 GHZ
