@priapus56 well, I am not that experienced with music theory, but Im sure I can figure out the math equation that makes up the G+. Is that G "augmented?" Im not sure... Do you have the chords to that song? if so would you please send them to me? Id be grateful for it.
@enamorada1103 Yes, G+ is G Augmented...I haven't got the chords, I just worked them out myself on guitar. G..What can I say G+ after I say I'm Am7 sorry....etc.
Ah well, Josephine was all of 20 years old back then, 1926, so she certainly had an early start in life to fame and fortune. What would life have been without her appearance on the world stage? History would've been bleak in those years!
Wow! It is interesting to hear what she sounded like in the early years before training, experience and age turned her into a phenomenal singer/performer.
@alysiamonet I know right. This was the beginning of her career. I don't know why she is singing in this key. She is really naturally a very high soprano. She got much better later. It's amazing how her voice transformed through the years. That proves that talent can actually be developed and that it doesn't always have to come naturally. She isn't so bad here though, I've heard worse from a many of today's so-called singers.
@ThePharaoho training and menopause...A woman's voice changes, Her and eartha kitt both had higher voices in their youth then got the sultry smokey voices later.
I haven't heard a nicer rendition than this, thanx for sharing. Vintage.

She and Valentino did more to change the norm of what was "BEAUTIFUL" in the 1920s. .
