  • Je suis just un ado, (mais ma mere a ete divorce.) Je voulais vous dire que Cooper doit aussi aimer et se sentir a l'aise avec le gars.

  • if single mothers want dating advice, here it is: try to find mediocre looking beta male types with little sexual experience. those are the chumps that will be fine with raising someone else's baby. they'll treat you like a queen, even though you're irresponsible damaged goods with tons of baggage.

all in all: don't try to get good looking men with game, they know you're not worth the effort.

find guys with no game, they'll worship you.

  • LMAO over here at the feminist movement and all the single mothers it caused LOL

Man life is great as a single white 25 year old male. I dont have to pay for any woman, I have no kids. So I get to keep all my money and invest it into properties.

So I would like to take this moment to thank the feminist movement at helping men at the expense of women.

BTW the CIA funding the feminist movement to get 100% of the population pay taxes as oppose to 50%.

  • I'm from Canada too!!

  • I think what scares guys about single Mom's is. A) Are you into me or just looking for a pay cheque to help raise your child or B) I'll never be #1 in your life...I will always come after your child. You wanted honesty so there it is. Good luck in your search for Mr. Right.

  • I am 17 and love milfs ;D

  • I don't think you need to tell the guy right off that you gave a kid. If you guys hang out/date a few times and he starts to get real feelings for you, he may be more freely accepting of that fact, rather than freaked.

  • @jenniwitt03 Your totally right.

as a Guy, hearing that you got a child at first, Ill be freaked out and run away,

but if I know you better, and understand what you have went through,

then im more of accepting , the fact that you got a kid, and not only accepting but also deeply caring.

  • It not about how the men handle it and feel ..it should always be how the mom feels in introducing your little one..bottom line is I believe you need to make sure your not wasting time or taking time from your child for a guy so personally the guy after a couple of months of dating should def. meet your child otherwise they fall for the single you they know but might not accept you splitting your attention btwn them and your child!

  • THINE RIVER BOAT SLOTH TRASH. BURNED BITCHES! FIRE MUST FOG!

  • when I was a few years younger I dated a single mom. she had a two year old at the time, and if you are good with kids, its a rather amazing experience. I was surprised how it wasn't any different than usual dating, you just have to remember that she will have more responsbilities than the usual woman.

  • dammmmn she chose ryan :/ shouldve chose john

  • miya would get it if she had a million kids. truss.

  • i would love to marry a mother with a kid. i love kids and i would love to bang your hot mommy

  • omg carlier replied to my comment :,D my life i made noe all i need is shay and collette to do the same!

  • I am dating a single mom too, i don't say it dating though. its some thing more than that. you can say the next level. any ways i think you should know at least a little about the person you are dating, have a guess that if it is gonna go long, then try to bring your kids to him as early as possible. and yes telling ab the kids on a first talk is a good idea though coz it avoids all the crap which is gonna happen in between. feel free to ask me if you have any other questions related to this.

  • Tip 1: don't expect much.

  • I think you should try dating me.

  • MacBookkkkkkkkkkk

  • Milfs... oh lord

  • Just marry Jackson alreadyy. ye are perfect together :)

  • Another hybrid version of glamour shots and Wayne's World! lmao awkward turtle!

  • i am a single mom myself been dating a guy for like 7 month but he doesnt know my child i feel like he doesnt know me at all like you guys said how can a man be in love or atractted to you if he doesnt know the bigest part of your life but i guess a lot of men are not comfortble with the idea dating a single mom some are afraid of the drama and the baggage that comes allong i guess ...........

  • LOL! Just to let you know, It just snowed in Montreal... WAT what's new about that?

  • Do NOT introduce the kid from the beginning because it's too confusing for the kid if you're bringing so many guys home. Narrow it down first.

  • lol advertisement in french xD

  • Why are you two asking for advice? You have it all figured out.

  • Every man on this planet is different and unique, just like every woman is different and unique. I`m a man, and i believe in love at first sight. No matter how corny it sounds, if it ain`t there, i`m not there :)

  • mia only speaks to her daughter in french? A TRUE french canadian

  • Your kids are still very young. But I was the kid that had the single mom. And one thing you shouldn't do is marry a guy after youve only been dating him for a few months. And don't force him to be the father of your child. My mom forced my step dad to be my fatherly figure and now I have a bad relationship with my step father. Just be very careful.

  • You have to accept that if you want a man in your life you have to let your child into his. So yes, show me your babies!

  • How much does faith play a role in who you date? Since you are Mormon does that keep you from wanting to date an atheist, Christian, Muslim, or Jew? I think religion plays a big part in compatibility in a relationship? What are your opinions everyone? Do you think Carlie should only date Mormon men? If not, why?

  • yay this was uploded on my birthday yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • Yay for speaking french and being Canadian! Haha.

  • If a guy truly likes you, it doesn't matter whether you have a child or not

  • I think dating a single mom would be intimidating if she still had feelings for her ex and not be nervous over meeting the child or children. If a man is secure & confident in himself meeting children is not intimidating cause we were all children once, it's the possibility of falling in love with her & she decides to give her ex another chance. They have history & the bond of child that could leave the new man broken hearted.

  • I am going to be looking forward to these videos! I've been single 6 months and am still getting used to the idea. I've never "dated" because I stuck with my high school sweetie for 6 years before things turned sour, so now I'm trying to figure out how things work in the adult world, and having a toddler at 23 makes is so much more complicated!

  • dont let them meet your kids at first i never did that when my kid was younger cause kids tend to get attached and if it dont go well and you find out they are jerks the kids are the ones that end up getting hurt.

  • hey carlie i was just woundering if cooper ever askes why you and his dad are not together any more?

  • Hey Carly, if you havent yet you should really watch the movie "ABOUT A BOY" with hugh grant! its about single moms and dads finding a new soulmate with their kids... love you :)

  • Miya is amazing and she is a great mom to a beautiful little girl!! Carlie you are so beautiful and funny and Cooper is adorable!! I wish the best of luck to both of you lovely ladies in your search for the perfect man for you.

  • Carlie I was just wondering in Coopers father is involved in his life? does he have custody as well?

  • @xoxJustAGirlxox she did a video about this already.

  • @horsebookworm she did a video already? what's it called? I can't seem to find it.

  • @xoxJustAGirlxox Cooper's Stork

  • By the way my real name is Corey Stiles. I'm 32 and a single father of a 11yr old boy. You know if we ever got married Carlie, you could become the real CARLIESTILES! LOL. But personality wise I'm too much like your brother Shay so I don't think you'd be interested in a Goofball like me. I'm learning a lot from your dating tips. keep up the good work! GO B.S.U.!!

  • I think that any guy who dates Carlie will have an insight on her personality, family life, and how great a kid Cooper is just by watching the previously posted YouTube videos. Which could also cause that Guy to be a lil' fake at first because he can try to fit the mold of what your videos portray you might like in a man. Just a thought. GO B.S.U.!

  • You should definitely be upfront and honest about having children before even dating someone. I know some people don't want kids, so they make that choice to not date someone with them (guys and girls).

  • Comment removed

  • Carlie you should do your hair up like on the Let's get personal video..:)

  • I ShMooreOn LOVE The Moms! :-)

  • mia is so beautiful :)

  • I'm french too!! Cool!

  • Yeah Montreal :)

  • Carlie---I understand the standards are very high. You want someone like the men in your life.

Your dad,& brothers. They have great personalities, high morals, great dads, loving. I truly believe

God knows who your next husband will be. Maybe that man is not in the place he needs to be at the moment. Pray and keep your heart open. You can't stop God from doing HIS thing!!

  • You both will meet "the one" when you least expect it. Beware of many men your age.

Many are out for what they can get. I'd weed out the ones that are not "kid friendly" at

the beginning. Who would want to hang with a man that thinks little of children. NOT ME.

That says LOTS about them--don't waste a minute on them. God Bless.

  • Carlie--introducing a little one to a potential boyfriend: I say have many people over for a cook out or something like that--any kids invited. And, slowly introduce them. Not on a one on one meeting for the first couple of times. I find kids act themelves more when not put on a one on one meeting with an adult. Anyway--just an idea---Love you both.

  • @MrsMogsey yes! Omg I thought it was just me lol

  • Carlie, you are a great person and a great mom!!! It is so thoughtful of you to think about how you manage dateing with your kid.

Don't let bad comments borther you.

    I love you

  • I think you should say up front that you have a kid because you want your kid to be part of the foundation of that relationship right from the get go. BUT do not be offended or feel bad if the guy is taken aback or needs a minute to think about it and adjust to the new situation. Give him the benefit of the doubt, and if he can't handle it, let the train leave the station!

  • can you guys do some thing for younger girls please?

  • you cant introduce the child to the boyfriend until its really serious and you can see a future with him because then theres something between the child and the boyfriend and you don’t want the child to have to feel upset for you if you and the boyfriend break up. You don’t want the child to be accustomed to you being out with so many different guys, either, because then what is the one who you aaare really serious about.

  • i bet carlys dating is just fine...

  • I don't know what other people were saying about baggage, but I think thats a mean word to call them that. Although I understand that it might be hard at first for the other person to think of those children as their own especially if they don't already have children. Plus they also feel the pressure of not only impressing you, but your kid(s) too, especially if they really like you and know how close you are with your kid(s). I don't think they should be called baggage though!

  • Is it just my eyes, or when it goes to a close-up of either lovely lady, do the panels in the background seem to have flashing yellow lights in the black middles??? O.O it's freaking me out

  • UMAD TROLOLOLOLOL

  • Oh Snap! you tell em carlie

  • My mom is a single mom and maybe it's just cause I'm 17, but I prefer to meet the guy right off the bat. If I haven't met him, it kind of makes me feel like my mom is trying to hide something from me. But maybe since Cooper is so young it's better to wait longer like you said. I don't know, just my thoughts :)

  • well from a teens point of view having my single mom dating i wanted to meet the guy right off the bat. I just so fustrated not knowing who the heck my mom was always going out with and them getting serious and i not even knowing who he was. So me being a teen i think if parents are dating and have teens its best to introduce the person asap

  • Carlie, if you were to date a single dad how would you handle it? Do you think it would go anywhere? And if it's happened before please tell us!

  • @luckyducky77 ;-)

  • @Wildncrazzyy Thank you;)

  • @tvbokor yay!!

  • @ThePProm ;)

  • Carlie, can you do an advice video for young girls? Thanks!

  • I LOVE MIYA! Thank you so much for having her on. :D

  • Carlie is your YouTube channel Partnered yet? Hope you're getting some income from these videos. (Lol sounds so weird, but I feel good when I thumbs up people's videos which entertain me, feel like it's a good way to give back).

  • Speaking from a guy's perspective, I think you should be upfront with the fact that you're a single mom like Mia said because that way you'll weed through guys that aren't willing to take on that venture. If the guy is a good prospect for you, he'll be considerate and respect your situation.

  • am i just paranoid or does that glass thing sometimes give the eye an optical illusion? for example at 1:02 if you look at while moving your eyes the black dots have like a white dot in the middle..am i crazy or does anyone see it too?

  • @CarlieStylez

As a guy who's 26, I'd be more concerned about a woman who couldn't move past her previous relationship more so than having a child.. Just don't get scared out of it all either. The kid thing is tough and a lot of guys won't be into it. People change after having kids. That sense of freedom changes. I think you need to show your self, values etc to a guy. They have to like you first. kid stuff= second.

and don't think too hard about dating. Your biggest enemy is over thinking it.

  • i wouldnt date a chick that has a kid, even if theyre hot like these two chicks here

  • Question...Does you ex husband have a girlfriend and if so how do you feel about your baby being around another women, if not how will you feel when/ if that happens?

  • I'm a single mum and relate. Thanks for putting these videos up!

  • I'm a guy You just need to find a guy that is fine with your child and the fact that you were married It might also be easy if you meet a guy who has been married t suppres the awquardness so you can relate

  • carlie you are amazing and beautiful and cooper is amazing and beautiful/handsome too :) one day your prince charming will find you! but even then you dont need a man to make you amazing you already are!xx

  • Montreal!! Montreal!! Yay Canadians :)

  • okay so im not a mother and ive never been married so i honestly have no place to even give an opinion but i feel that you should just stop worrying about dating because honestly when it happens it happens, don't worry about it now until the day comes. you will know what to do with the introducing your child to your boyfriend etc etc. just relax for now.

  • I'm not a mom, but I have friends that are single moms, they worry about the same thing, some of them have left it up to the guy they are seeing, like when he is ready to meet their kid(s), of course they themselves would have to be ready too. If they are gonna pursue anything with you ladies knowing that you have a kid, then he should be adult enough to tell you when he's ready to meet the other half of your life, if he doesn't bring it up after a certain amount of time, then move on.

  • MIA IS GORGEOUS

  • dont introduce a boyfriend to your kid unless you are super serious because if you break up with him and your kid liked the bf then youre going to damage your kid

  • i think you should try pink on your cheeks something cute and young like a candy pink or fairy floss

  • I think I would like to know in the first date but not for it to be a huge topic

  • you will probably never see this but I would introduce him to your son not streight away but when you see that it might work out but just as a friend you need to see how he is around him and get to know that part of your life but your son doesnt need to know your dating him or anything he's just his mums friend you seem really strong and your lucky you have your brothers who are amazing good luck and stay strong p.s. marry me?

  • Hey Carlie and Mia you look likeable. Maybe it seems that I'm old fashioned, but keep god first and everything will be okey :) Greeting from Slovakia.

  • Have you ever considered dating single fathers? I feel like there would be a strong connection because he would understand what you're going through. He would just get it, you know?

  • G I dont like the word Kid ! just saying

  • Bilingual at 2 and a half? DANNNNNG GIRL!

  • You so know Carlie's douche ex husband watches these videos crying

  • im not single but i believe this is good advice... u should at least give it a try... find a guy that has kids... preferably one that has FULL custody of them u dont want no crazy bitches coming around.... men with kids know whats up... trust me... been married 5yrs have 4 kids 2 are his and 2 are our's

  • Have the pair of you ever considered dating a guy with a kid and a previous marriage? Do you think that would be easier or harder?

  • i am wondoring why those two are single in the first place ?? they are freaking hooot

  • hey carlie not to troll or something cuz i ador and love you but your foundation seems a bit yellow on camera maybe use HD foundation ? well with love, a 14 year old from a little country in the world holland <3

  • Carlie I respect what ur doing so much!! Coopers such a cute boy as well! Stay strong I'm sure theres millions of guys that wud love to be in ur life! :)

  • Carlie, I wouldn't think of it as dating for two, because the person who is right for you will love Cooper! <3 You're amazing! :)

  • Carlie, please please turn your mic up. The volume for the intro is right, then when you guys start talking, I can't hear what you're saying. I have my volume as high as it will go. I can hear the intro and other vloggers just fine, so I don't think it is my computer. I have noticed it on your other videos too. I love your videos, so I want to hear every word you say.

  • @alwaysaprilmac --On my computer it is fine. Maybe you need a new computer.

  • Carlie, you are right, when you meet the right guy, he will be extra interested because you have a great son...and he may even have a child too! Others may judge you on here, but they need to worry about themselves first! Don't give them the respect of a response, just remove.

  • Carlie, please stop being beautiful for two seconds!

  • If I was dating someone with a kid Id see it as a bonus!!

  • Comment removed

  • You're amazing Carlie :)

  • All I can say is how dare anyone call children "baggage" A child is the most beautiful gift anyone could ever experience or hope for. I will PROUDLY claim my "BAGGAGE" and never would budge on hiding him for second. He is my life and my world. I never planned on getting a divorce or having my heart broken. I never wanted to experience that heart ache; but I did; I lived through it; and I am stronger because of it; I'm trying to make a POSITIVE change; what are you trolls doing; just being that!

  • @CarlieStylez Go Carlie! Cooper is one of the most amazing children ever, and any man you are with should feel honored to have such a child in his life.

  • @CarlieStylez wow! thats great carlie, I read this thinking it was top comment and thought how great whoever this is, to say all that and then i realised it was you! awesome Carlie! inspiring:) cheer up, saw the facebook status, we LOVE you! xxx

  • @CarlieStylez Carlie, please , dont bother answering any trolls on here. You are beautiful , strong, and inspiring. I hope to God that I am like you. I hate how people bring others down. Please, stop listening to trolls . I love you and I look up to you. Always stay the way you are. love

  • @CarlieStylez raging much?

  • carlie can you show us your makeup foundation routine? or at lest say what foundation you use?

  • @uniquemonke I wear MAC studioTech and their prep & prime concealer. I love them. Great coverage for the cameras. People get allured that we wear a lot; but it's actually just the way the lighting and the camera makes it appear. GO get some girl

  • I am a single father. My wife left me and the kids a couple of years ago. I know exactly how you girls feel. After my divorce I tried dating women. It was tough because I felt I couldn't trust them. I always tell my dates I have two kids, some are okay with it some are not.Single fathers are just as important as single mothers. Please do a dating for single dads.

  • @84sexyfrank Your awesome. Hang in there and enjoy your babies. That's all that you can do. They will mend the tears and give you happiness. Stay strong. XO

  • i lovvve surfing if i had the beach by me i think i would go surfing every single day! i tried it in hawaii 3 yrs ago. and i feel the exact same way carli i hate swimming with fish and knowing theres sharks out there and the salty ocean is so yucky and especially when the water isn't clear u can't see whats underneath. its scary but its fun! def a good workout too.

  • Miya, I think it's so cool that you only talk to your daughter in French. But if you ever dated or got serious with somebody, would you then start talking to her in English? Would that be too difficult for your daughter? How would you plan that?

  • I'm a women but I kind of think you're either going to be dating a man that is okay with single mother, or not. With that said, I think it's better to get it out of the way. If he's not going to be okay with it, might as well find out before too many feelings are involved.

  • Mia is SOOO lovely

  • I think you should tell them you have a child pretty quick. BUT I wouldn't introduce them until you are to the point of becoming engaged, because if you introduce them sooner and you just break up then your child has to go through the breakup too and that is useless drama that kids don't need to see. I know that even when it's time for engagement things can still fall apart, but that way the child is less likely to become attached to the guys you're dating only to have him walk out on you both.

  • yay elle parle francais like me:D

  • i have the same lamp in pink from walmart!:)

  • I would tell the person who you're dating that you have a kid but let them meet when you and the guy are officially boyfriend and girlfriend.

  • I love Miya =)

  • Kid or not you friend is RIDICULOUSLY beautiful...I love girls from Canada

  • My parents split up when I was 2 so they both dated throughout my childhood. My dad would introduce me to every girl after like the second date and I'd get really attached to each girl and be more sad than my dad when they broke up! haha So, from my experience, I'd really wait to introduce your children to your dating partners until you know it's serious. (I know you both already feel that way, but just sharing my thoughts :)

  • how did shay & your family in general, react to your divorce?

  • carlie styiles is hot

  • It might be hard for you to have a future relationship that will last. This is because you would need a guy who's comfortable with you having a son and of course you would be like advertising him all over youtube. Which would personally make me feel uncomfortable. Just a thought....

  • if you really started to like a guy and you introduced cooper to him and cooper told you after they met that he didn't like him, what would you do?

  • Miya is french so cool didn't realize she spoke french. im bilingual from cornwall ontario right next to quebec montreal.

  • Half japanese and french? Oh wow I thought she was latina XD She's extremely gorgeous, and so is Carlie.

  • I really think if you have a kid you should tell the guy from before, my teacher, when he was in college fell in love with a girl after they'd been dating for 6 months the girl told him "I have a 1 year old child" and my teacher fainted :P after that he always says "Please girls, never hide anything"

  • @guesswho811 I'm 12 -___- do you have a low self esteem?

  • @munkrock99 haha

  • @guesswho811 I think you mean 9 cm ;)

  • Ladies! Don't over think this..lol...kids came up in my convo right away NATURALLY. Dating is for fun and IF something awesome comes out of that ..BONUS!! Now get your butts out there and enjoy LA. lol

  • Carlie- Do you ever think Cooper would get jealous of the guy you are dating? Or something on those lines. Thumbs up so she can see please!

  • @Rebel09racing He is very protective of me. I've never introduced anyone to him in that light so it will be interesting to see his reaction.

  • @guesswho811 Carlie probably wouldn't give you the time of day :)

  • As a man i think it is best to tell the man a bit about your life and past life. I mean there is not much point dating for like 3 months then you finally tell him and then he flips out. Would be a waste of time and potential disappointment. So u would recommend telling a man about your child and ex-husbands right away. :) If the dude finds it is okay then that is a good thing. If he does not find it okay then you have not wasted your time like you would keeping it back.

  • Maybe you won't admit it but a mom with a kid is baggage. You can pretend to be ok with it but you deserve better. I think Carlie should date someone who's in a similar situation as her so he can understand her better. Perhaps a guy with a kid.

  • Date an older man who has security and money.. Want my number LOL..

  • I am happy you decided to make videos

  • @lbxfactor Thank you for being positive and watching!xo

  • im not single, and im not a mum, but im watching...LOL

  • @DeliciosaCriatura and I love you

  • yea definity id say coming from a guy and knowing you have a child or childern would be a little initmidating, i think its most of us guys. but also guys sometimes love childern to so its kinda of a 50/50... hard....

  • @drCasey555 Thank you! xo

  • my parents got divorced when i was 2 years old, and I can't even remember them being togheter. My dad got a new girlfriend when I was like 6 or 7 years old. He was dating this woman who worked at my old kindergarden. My dad used to ask us what we wold say if she moved in with him. Me and my brother said it would be pretty awesome. She end up moving in with my dad. She and my dad now got 2 other kids.

  • Good question Santathe2nd. I am a single father and I only like dating single mothers because I feel like I can related better with them. I think a month into the relationship you'll know if this person is a good match to mold a family out of.

  • I am a single mom and feel my daughter still has to be a priority when I am dating. I always tell him I'm a mom and a little about us then wait to see how it goes. Now when it comes to including you child in the new relationship I feel you should be at a point of commitment with him and have discussed what you both expect before you ask your child and him to accept change. I watched a friend's mom bring one guy after another around and her kids lost respect for her as a parent. Just my opinion.

  • I love your channel and vids! I have a tougher question for you and if you don't want to answer it that's totally okay! But how does Copper's dad feel about you doing youtube or Cooper being on youtube through your channel or the Shaytards vlogs? thanks love ya!

  • @santathe2nd to be blunt; he really only cares about himself and his end of his life. Naturally that is okay, however it makes co-parenting difficult. Cooper is safe and loved even more. What parent could argue that?
