Wow really? One person's talking about the videographer getting sued and another is talking about potential HIPAA violations from this? Have to tell all of you this is in a public space and taken within plain view. The owner of this video is well within his rights and has done a great job. It isn't just drunk drivers, it's careless and impatient drivers. I took driver training and it saved my life once for sure but I have had three cars wrecked by bad drivers. I'm so nervous as a passenger now it's a problem. People that have problems with eyesight or are too old I'm sorry you shouldn't have the right to drive. I think that certain people are pre-disposed to drive badly. I have a friend that I won't even get in a car with because they have caused 5 serious accidents, no kidding.

@MrROTD I too have issues being a Passanger in a car. I have to be the one driving or I freak out or hunker down or even close my eyes while being a passanger. I was in so many accidents when I was little that it screared the living daylights out of me. and all of the accidents I was in when I was little the car was totatled and the Accidents always made the Local News Papers that is how bad they where. but thankfully I am still alive and was never sersolusy hurt.

todd is a professional videographer and works closely with fire ems & police and the media and provides excellent videos however when their is a privacy concern he blocks out the persons face and hippa has nothing to do with media only the medical proffesion with regards to names of the victims! being released

I regularly have a beer and drive never had a single accident, never failed a breathalizer

When your having trouble even making it to your vehicle, its probably an extremely clear indication that YOU SHOULD NOT BE DRIVING FOOL

@7089540230 I think the only issue I would have is when the cameraman took video of the license plates. I guess someone would consider this as "sensitive information". Someone could be motivated enough to find out who these people were by using their plates to gain the information. I don't know how. Our department warned us about posting any photos or videos that would allow somehow reveal the patients' information. I just don't post anything that might violate the dept's directive.

It's definitely a problem in EMS. Basically, they work long and irregular shifts, often 24 hours on duty (just like firefighters). Unlike firefighters, though, most of the stations don't have full kitchens. So EMT's and Paramedics can either bring home-cooked food for their whole shift, which they don't always have time to do, or (more commonly) they subsist on fast food.

I'm in EMS, and EMS people are fat because they're lazy and there are no physical standards like in the Fire Department or Police Department. The people at my station sit on their ass all day and watch TV or play on the computer if they're not doing calls. It's pathetic. Then they cook a massive breakfest sometimes with a shit load of butter, eggs, cheese, sausage. It's total bullshit.

True, agencies really do need to make and enforce better standards for physical shape. You're not doing much good for your patient if you have a heart attack yourself! Maybe if the pay were better (in line with what police and firefighters make), agencies could have higher standards and get better people. We can dream, right?
