  • @SuperQuickStick How big is your pond? I would be inclined to keep the circulation pump on the aid in keeping the water clean. The koi should be able to find calm areas to sleep.

  • @SuperQuickStick How big koi get really depends on breeding. High quality koi grow big. Many do not. To see a Kohaku, Showa or Sanke 80 cm is rare. I've seen 5 year old Kohaku be 70 -80 cm. A koi bought from a pet store will never grow that big...

  • about how much do one of those koi cost

  • @gonzak1 The koi in pond 3? Probably start around $4,000.

  • dam huge koi fish and nice colors!! does putting them in a mud pond make them grow bigger?

  • thanks for posting that video

  • ohh man giant koi!

  • i hate ur guts those my fav fish!!!

  • Ive alwayswanted to go to oneof Ray's harves. Maybe one day ill make it their.

  • how old are they?

  • @bbhans18 The koi coming out of this mud pond are between 5 and 7 years old.

  • you got a big koi!

putting Koi in a mud pond can grow bigger right?

is the pond pure or fresh water? or a mixture of a little amount of salt or sea water?

cause i have a mud pond, i planned to put Kois in there, but the problem is, its a mixture of a lil salt and fresh water, im guessing 20%salt, 80&%fresh.. can you help me?

  • @bbhans18 Those aren't my koi. I wish they were... The mud ponds are all 100% fresh water. I would be concerned about the extended salt content in the water. Where is the salt coming from?

  • my mud pond is located 1KM away from the sea, and just beside a swap, my dad told me that our mud pond might contain salt water, but im now quiet sure about the salt water thing..

should I try to put Koi in there?

  • You should figure out what's the water source for the pond. Rain water, stream, well? My guess it that it is fresh water and you should be fine. Or maybe get the water tested to see.

  • @ipodhuman79999 The koi can grow as much as 6 inches in length. But what is really impressive is the girth. They get really big.

  • Ray was toasting the koi gods because he's hoping it's a good harvest. You never know how koi will turn out after 6 months in a mud pond. Some do well. Some don't. It's up to nature.
