There's another video of this trick, and it was really obvious what the performer did. He only used an ace of diamonds as the "safe" card. But you use TWO kinds of kings, hearts and diamonds! That makes it much more impressive! I can't see what you're doing; good job.

you`re right, it doesn`t really work with normal cards and 8 packs of Tarot cards would be around what $80? the most expensive card trick ever! However, I`ve found 5 packs of Karnival Assassin cards from bigblindmedia work. They have a suitably devilish theme and are relatively cheap.

@dtmasta45 I m against tutorials on youtube,especially for really "magical" tricks,for the simple reason that in here you just give away hard earned knowledge to people that dont "deserve" it...and by this I mean people that dont have anything to do with the art,and are never gonna learn to perform any serious trick,but they just feel the urge to know how everything is done.If someone is truly interested,like I am (and many others),he can find anything out through proper dedication...

very nice trick, when I first watched this trick did not realize how you replaced the K to J, then I watched you trick a few times and I understood it , i most like the part when you replace the Kd, it was smart. in fact very nice trick and performance was 5/5

Hey, that was really awesome. It was long time ago, since I was astonished like this. Wasn't exspecting the ending at all.

I like the trick as well as the presentation.

It's non-gimmicked, right? But the only thing I don't like, is that one has to take many decks, until one has the right number of cards to do the trick.

@ILoveMagic15 Sorry for the late reply man,and thank you for your nice words!Yes the trick needs no gimmicks at all...and I agree with the fact that you need many decks being a nuisance...it actually did take me some time but I finally bought all the tarot decks it needs to maximize the effect,and now I use them instead...the kings and jokers were just an impromptu decision cause I wanted to start performing the trick asap and upload it :P Glad you liked it so much!

This is pure magic,you cant imagine the reactions i get from friends and other audiences...perhaps if you saw it done with the tarot cards your feel the impact it has better :P

Darwin flashes the "gold coin" after picking up the devil card, but I suppose you are not doing it because you have alternate kings (hearts, diamond, hearts, ...).

If you do the trick using a bunch of kings of hearts (or diamonds), then you'll be able to do it.

Also, manage to get equal jokers. Some of your jokers are different from the others.

Thanks for commenting!Yes,the kings are both hearts and diamonds...unfortunately i couldnt find enough kings of the same suit to spare,and that goes for the jokers obviously..you see,i keep this pack of cards also for live performance,so i had to find extra cards.However,i just managed to order the needed tarot decks,so any problems will be solved once they arrive!

I have the same problem. I use alternate kings, so I can't flash them after picking up the joker, because it would be weird to flash kings of the same suit. :-O

I'd rather do it the way you do... no need to flash them after picking up the joker. Anyway, I've managed to get jokers that look the same, because I always care for such psychological details, which I consider to be of importance.
