2003 and 2004 were so bad for fans. after the hiatus it seemed so manufactured and forced. 2009-2010 shows seem alive. to me, somebody that was in on it during the 90s, will always dig their funky 98 and 99 shows. though, i really dig the new energy from 09-10

LOVE this fairly unique version...the groove they whip up after the 2:50 mark is sublime and those minor chord chops over Page's clav while mike drives the funk and Fish untz untz untz, then they go tribal trance on yer ass and take it out with w sick segue to What's the Use...perfect. this run was underrrated...yeah there was some rust, but also some exceptionally good stuff like this...1/3/03 is one of my favs with that sick wolfmans, nice foam pebbles, and YEM was bomb despite the restart.

i was 2nd row in front of mike.. trey starting playing the chords before mike's bass solo.. we were all like WTF!!! the intro is the best part (sometimes). WTF Trey? Was he trying to play it old style, before Mike could do a good slap intro ? or what?
