  • nice. aim the laser at the ground then have the baby look right into it

  • Thanks for the vid i thinking this might be my next purchase i've allways wanted a scan!

  • Well I bought one after watching your video. It was exactly what I was looking for. I had to buy an re-ferbed one because I got a lot to get, and I needed to keep the prices down. Im not sure if yours is also I got one for 143.00. I also wondered if the light at start up makes a strange noise coming from the mirrors? Mine does, but I'm not sure if that is normal. The battery to the remote was dead I think, so I couldn't try to turn it off with the remote. Anyway thanks for the video.

  • I don't think it's such a good idea to have this laser shining directly into your young daughter's eyes, from 5' away.

  • this is a really good unit man i have one of this im thinking to buy another one.

  • Nice laser, very nice. Im looking for a laser that is similar to those used in Pink Floyd as far as in speed. A low laser moving around, rather than in a "high speed". Is there such a thing for around the same price?

    thank-you

  • I was thinking of getting 2 of these and turning them on and off with a relay pack and NOT using the remote. Do these fire right up when 1st powered on or is there a few seconds of "boot up" time?

  • @axemanv90 Few seconds before operation. and if you use the remote is a instant on because the unit is in blackout

  • Hey thanks for the vid. Ive got a question, in complete darkness will the beams show up without a fog machine or is it necessary?

  • Fog or haze or a smoke bar are required for the beams to show through

  • Just got mine in the mail and its quite an awesome laser. I'm thinking of getting a haze machine bcause I dont want to set smoke alarms off. Any experience with this lase in a haze machine as opposed to a fogger?

  • A hazer would be just fine. You may need to output up a little higher for the lazer vs regular lighting but a hazer is a good thing to use with this effect.

  • Awesome, ordered one yesterday, thanks for all the info!

  • @Zman87gt hey i have an lgx laser but it didnt come witha remote and i can only use it in sound mode is that normal?

  • Im planning to buy one but where can I buy if I gonna replace the laser is it a bulb type that I can just buy at any hardware store?

  • Very cool, I am going to get one. I like your style of showing things, very down to earth.

BTW, I agree with previous poster, your daughter is adorable, I'd guess, 20 mos. old?

  • Congrats on getting the laser. Those scanners need some tuning though - either that or they've very slow and drawing very few points. The wavy lines and distorted circles spoils whats otherwise a nice laser.

  • LOL! she's like "wtf!?!" lol =P

  • How could you! I promised myself a long time ago that I would never withhold fog from my children.

  • great video. I've seen these at a club but the fat beam doesnt really turn heads. I was at the club and saw the fixture and had to look around for the actual laser effect. I have an older Chavuet Scorpion laser (which is now discontinued) that is actually cheaper and brighter (seee my video). the only drawback is that the patterns on your laser are new and better looking while my pattern doesn't really move around (scan) too much

  • You daughter the cutest thing! She is sooo adorable :]. Also, do you have any other lasers?

  • Thanks, not yet this is the only laser I have or have used.

  • whats the price on this ? i know its been out for quit a while now .

    thanks

  • retail is 350.00

  • You always seem to ave the coolest lights hay.

  • great video thanks it helped me out too, however would you know, how to use the other patterns ( that they show in the back of the manual ).. like do u need a certain kind of board???

    thanks

    TM

  • Some patterns work only is sound mode or only in auto mode. If you select patterns in sound mode they are a little different than the ones in auto mode. Auto mode is what I showed for the most part. This laser is not dmx controlable so all the control is via the remote.

  • Thank You For The Video, And Good Luck With Your No Limits Daddy Daycare. LOL!

  • HA thanks!

  • 40mW green laser?

  • 10mW, I needed it to be legal without a variance in the U.S.

  • Zach - Your daughter is adorable!

The laser is cool too! Is this part of the Phat beam series?

  • Thanks, yes fat beam deally

  • this looks like a nice light m8

    nice vid

  • Great light. I just picked up my first laser late last week but nothing as nice as this. I had a question about it tho'. If you set it to do something specific like set it do do the crowd scanning effects and then turned it of with a Light Co-pilot or something of the sort would it turn back on in the same mode you left it in or some other mode? Great light. wish mine were that nice.

  • you can do the crowd scan and shut it off with the remote. then it is right where it left off and does'nt need to re-sync itself.

  • I'm surprised how good it looks with the light on. Thanks to fatbeam technology.
