@lungimsam Since Bobby was working over at American Group Productions (AGP in Memphis with Chips Moman ,my guess is it's session man Tommy Cogbill on bass. I love the bass riff during the choruses.

This song just gave me the answer I needed. I hate to do it to myself, but I haven't heard from her in long enough a time/so few times in that time, that this is how it all comes to an end. It sucks being single, but I can listen to silence by my damn self.
