this isn't a bad idea for a music video actually, we have to do one for our media, mind if i steal the idea? it seems a lot better than my mate's idea of just getting high and listening to Cypress Hill, I don't think that'll get us very high marks!

hope you dont go into acting lol... good video my friend and a deserved A, a bit cluttered with effects which probably didnt help your eventual grade and the pan 1:48 was a little messy! Overall well done and do you have any intentions of taking media further?

Yeah thanks, I'm going into Media/Advertisement so I'm not planning on Acting tbh!

We all recognise the effects are a lil too much but hey-ho it's the final grade that did it for us!

I've got another music video coming up very soon, it's from an Unsigned band as that was our task we had this year, couldn't be signed music or summut, we'll be up here very soon.

Heya,

Umm, well, first of all, don't do what I did and use lots of effects! They won't like this and it becomes too cluttered, even though wer gotta good grade, I wouldn't advise it!

Make sure your shots are varied, don't return to the same angled shot too often, it's gets boring, only use the same shot about twice, maybe 3 times if it's important.

Always make sure the backgrounds are good, my performance shots are pretty poor with the white screen in the background and the bit above it.

Always sing alone outloud to the music, don't mouth it, it's pants. Don't get embaressed about this either, I'm the last one laughing with an A*, so ignore the onlookers, you'll do fine!!

so if Skins is filmed at John Cabot, when do they do it? it must be a real squeeze, doing it at weekends or during holidays, since they surely don't do it evenings before it gets dark?

They film it during the day while we are there. They just have security stopping us going near where they are filiming. Sometimes they film corridor scenes while we are in lessons or after everyone had gone.

Yeah it's usually filmed just after we leave too, it's really not that exciting tbh!

maybe they got a A becasue of the effort they put in and planning, i dont do Media but i know its not just the video u get graded on. Twat go slag someone else off that deserves it! just because your some low life with no GCSEs dont slag other people off!
