My how they stubbornly stick to this evolution ... ehm... stuff. Neither brain, nor its "software" , mind that is, could EVER have developed by any "natural evolution"! Cause natural evolution, as 2 thermodinamics demonstrates well, just doesn't happen in the universe known to us. Which simply states, things deteriorate when left on their own -- they NEVER grow more complex, but always more simple. No "evolution" period!

She probably has more expertise than the other three combined. She's the only neuroscientist on the panel. The other three are TV personalities and infomercial hawkers; not scientists at all; Many of Amen's conclusions and methods are highly criticized by actual experts in the field.

None of them seem to know nothing. It must be very complicated. Medical is not even a science.

The brain is a chemical factory and Dr Amen hits on a vital subject in his book "change your brain change your life" he takes brain scans of someone madly in "love" and someone on cocaine and the brain scans were so similar it's freakin crazy. I think the brain and the study of plasticity can change our paradigms about addiction and how we can change the actual neuroanatomy of our brain using our thoughts! It's positive thinking backed up by neuroscience

I first read Dr. Amen's book, Healing ADD, about 7 years ago. The pages of the book are worn and the cover is torn from being passed around to my family and friends over the years. I was so excited that Dr. Amen was going to be on Larry King Live and while watching it, I could see that this special was, well, something special. This panel of experts together makes for quite the discussion. From ADD, addiction, depression, injuries in the NFL, to obesity, everyone can learn a lot from it.
