  • someone have the dvd

  • Tina steals the show while sharing the spotlight:she is beyond a diva because she is too generous for that. She is simply a goddess.

I can spot Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Paul Young, Elton John; can anyone else identify any of the others? Thanks

  • That was epic. All the greatest.

  • Only Tina could upstage Paul!

  • To have Tinas breath blasting on your face while she is singing your lyrics, Paul must have been in heaven!!!!!!!!

  • In that video... Paul, Tina, Eric, Phill, and many others... and now... JB, Selena Gomez, Jonas Brothers...

I ask myself... WHAT THE HELL IS GOIN' ON WITH THE WORLD?????!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Tina = Queen Of Rock

  • Haha even prince Charles is digging it xD 2:55

SE CULTO Y PONTE A ESTUDIAR.

FALTA TE HACE JOVENSITO DE SEGUNDA.

  • Fucking hell. What an ugly decade.

  • @Underground906 The late 90's through today is an unending (so far) ugly era for music, not the 80's.

  • @Mr2009Truth Ain't that the truth. The early mid 90's was the last great era for rock.

  • All my favourite Musicians!

Mark Knopfler, Paul McCartney Tina Turner...awesome!

  • 1.13 Right Gig wrong Clothes :)

  • tina gave a light on this show ., u should kick ur own ass queenreighns

  • Good performance, but who was the cheap hooker in the red skirt ?

They should have kicked her off the stage.

  • @QueenReigns1 I wanna punch you in the mouth so hard! And it's Tina Turner.

  • @Zitro19

Strange as it may seem, I actually did know it was Tina..my comment was what you might call..sardonic.

Now..let's have that punch..bring it on.

  • @nishaalynn

I know that you shit head, I was pissing about ffs.

That's what you get for not reading previous comments ( read below...I said I did know it was Tina )and sticking you nose into other people's business..

Ok you can fuck off now.

    Bye.

  • @QueenReigns1

technically its everyone's business if u posted it on youtube for everyone to see =) lol have a nice day.

    xoxo neesha

  • @nishaalynn

Look, idiot, you can see where I said I knew it was Tina, so why the fuck did you send a reply telling me that?

    Moron!!

  • Talent, simply great talent, period.

  • @19thcentury

Poor old Prince Charles. Has anybody ever gone to a rock concert wearing trousers like that? Has anybody ever looked so out of place at a rock concert?

  • Wow, Tina was one sexy mother back in the day.

  • @nevrens still is

  • damn I love you tina

  • white people hahaha tina u rock !

  • what happened with paul between ~1982 and ~1997? his hair seems like it's going to slip off and he looks like he's gained a hundred pounds.

  • 1:13 Corporate mosh pit! :3

  • The 80s can make anything suck.

  • Check out Tina!!! Awesomeness personified!!! Just lets loose totally and outperforms them all with ease!!!

  • I would have loved to be there. A young Bryan Adams!

  • I saw Paul Young play a shopping mall in France a few years back. What a loss to music. Great great voice. His version (with Zucchero) of "Senza una Donna" is absolutely superb ...

  • Ich habe es damals im TV gesehen( Lady Diana)selten so gelöst.

    War eine super Show

  • no question

  • The trouble with the Beatles, they made everything seem so effortless, fun and all in a day's work, these jokers tend to make heavy weather of it!

  • hairstyles????WHO CARES , FOOL!!!!

  • this is my favorite rock song

  • Tina always holds her own with the boys

  • I don't give a damn about the terrible hairstyles, if the musicians are on that level

  • Iconic Tina Turner described as talentless...i think you need to edcucate yourself,a very unintelligent comment to make.

  • I Was at this gig and it was fantastic... great vibe the whole night!

  • @bobthemoduk You do not know how I envy you, actually I think it was a fantastic show: Paul McCartney, Elton John, Tina Turner, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Mark Knopfler, etc. You were very lucky!

  • You can tell that Paul is a great writer but Tina is much better singer.

  • Tina seems exceptionally wild in this vid, the way she's dancing around, but she sounds great as always.

  • Lisa!!!!

  • Howard Jones....

  • ..Eric Clapton!!!!

  • Paul, Tina Turner, Status Quo, Midge Ure, Elton John, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Mark Knopfler, Paul Young. Level 42........

  • When music was fun and a concert was an EVENT!!

  • Tina Turner also sickens me.Ike had the right idea with that dirty beast!

  • @3rdpug Hear hear, 3rdpug. One day soon...and not before time...we will...all...drink...to the death...the death of a...the death of a Faw'.

  • @ST0MP0 He WILL be dead soon, I sure as hell hope so, I think he has got a dodgey ticker, lets hope he doesnt see 2011.

  • @ST0MP0 See him mincing back onto the mic, he can't help himself, he has to drain the last bit of glory out of the situation. What a fucken cunt!

  • Shake it Tina.

  • damn, I hate 80s

  • Tina turner owns.......

  • wow che video !!!

  • ringo and george are in 1987 prince trust aren't they?

  • This is a terrible version! :(

It's in a different key, has a totally different feel from the original and the lyrics are in the wrong order!

  • who is playing the piano?

  • @rocaviz could it be elton john maybe? looks like it at the start

  • ELTON JOHN

  • @rocaviz That would be Elton John

  • I recorded this off HBO and still have the tape. The funny thing is Bryan Adams trying to hang with these legends. At 1:35 he weasels his way IN BETWEEN Macca and Tina to sing. Then, at 1:45 he tries to sing a verse, and Tina says "I got this." So, smartly, he skulks back to Paul Young's mic. Finally, so he can say he sang with Paul, he sneaks in "Get back Loretta!" at 2:55. Seriously - when you're watching two living legends like Macca and Tina tear it up, just step to the back, Bryan.

  • @roguehk HAHAHAHA.... Bryan Adams "weasels his way in"....... great observation man!! Classik! If I were him... I wudda hung WAY back in the shadows out of respect and would have died of embarrassment to even attempt a verse. ~KK

  • Tina Turner is like the only woman in history to get sexier as she ages LOL

  • @CavenEdwards well caven she is still great looking for now 70 ,but this was 1985 when she was 45 andstill incredibly hot. She isn't the same now but a lot better than most her age

  • Compare a get together like this back when the music business still had talent. Then watch that abomination that is the new We are the World video and then you will see why anyone over 30 something is disgusted with today's music scene. Now it's lame acts like Lil Wayne and autotune and Britney. I feel for this generation that's been exposed to rubbish that's passed for music the last 10-12 years.

  • It warms the heart to see pre-wheelchair bound Stephen Hawking moving like a spry gazelle from 1:13 to 1:15. Theoretical Physics' gain was awkward, stiff white dancing's loss.

  • everyone is just rockin the fuck out lol

  • love tina;s hair, she is so great!! love these two!!

  • this was a supergreat night of the best musicians together on stage - Tina was the gasoline ..........

  • It is Paul Young , Tina just added a bit more of the fun with a little Tina sauce , you can see here thinking about it and then just let it come out , Paul looks amusingly surprised .

  • why did tina and rod stewart ( im guessing its rod stewart) sing the same verse?

  • @beatlesboyseventeen that wasn't Rod Stewart and Tina sang it again because he messed it up lol

That's why she says, "I Got It" lol

  • awsome...wish i was there...

  • they were having so much fun..wish i could have been there..

  • EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!100*wooow

  • this generation can only dream about such concerts...

  • Tina Turner turns everything over.

  • been a long time since we've seen rockin' collabo jams like that

  • Every time I see this, I am simply in awe--Such great talent, all at one time, in one special moment.

  • I love it when Tina whispers to the boys "I got it" at 1:45 , and then she does a great job singing her little part!

  • Yeah this is great, but the one thing really missing here are the piercing guitar fills between every line as on the original. Nobody on the planet coulda done that better than ole 'slowhand. Whadda shame, cuz musically itz justa buncha mush. And it could have been sooo much better.

  • yeah, lennons soloing on the song was great.

  • Just loved seeing Paul Young & Tina Turner join Paul on this one.

Paul and Tina... alone, are HOT!!!!

  • The worst collection of hairstyles ever assembled on one stage.

  • @knuckleheadjones Those hair styles were so in back in 1986.

  • @knuckleheadjones so much better than the skinheads of some other times

  • @knuckleheadjones not as good as shaved heads, combover ala JustinBeider and faux hawks are they knuckleheadjones -gimme a break this was 1985 and the hair looks a lot better than the shit nowadays

  • @burdivad I grew up in the 80s and feel justified and qualified in saying what I said about the hair and I'm sticking by it. McCartney's hair looks like a women's wig (see 1:58)

  • @knuckleheadjones no, matter of taste actually - I grew up way before that and have seen styles come and go . Basically it is just a matter of length and a different take on it. Nothing outrageous, but shaved heads look like shit unless u r bald and have no choice. Nothing is worse looking than guys with baldheads and long mustacheless goatees. Hey My son has that :)

  • @knuckleheadjones True - but don't forget to mention ain't no-one ever had more fun on stage jamming than that "follicle challenged" group, man, they were kicking. McCartney looked like he was playing Hamburg at 22 years old.

Tina will do that to a man.

  • @knuckleheadjones No offence but your name fits you. The rest of us red blooded males were checking out Tina's LEGS!!!! LOL best legs on any stage.

  • @kassx1 What's amazing is that those legs can support that wig.

  • @knuckleheadjones Wich ones are the goods???? your? IoI

  • @knuckleheadjones in the 80s the audience in the front row would often suffer from fur balls after a concert!! haha

  • @knuckleheadjones I think you mean the worst collection of cunts on one stage.

  • @ST0MP0 Hear hear, STOMP0.

  • @SimonCoweI Jesus fuckin wept!!!!!!! Where do we go from here???? We are English and HE is too?????? He makes us look like cunts. How dare he? HANG HIM!!! HANG THE BASTARD!!!!

  • @knuckleheadjones it may be the worst hair collection but its the best talent on there...

  • @knuckleheadjones

    Spoken like true lame..

  • @bconrad49 As much as these guys did a brilliant performance, you have to admit: hairstyles, and style in general, in the 80's was eh lol

  • great job! i freaken love this!

  • edfjg ka iuhea gheokliuy fdkuyc ge gcfueig uygokaiueduygeasudyfc s ufhskufygosuy f ggs oas f8sghofde8uyg osuyd fuy uyo s f bs 8u hosuyfciksuydfgodsfyu uydf fud iuh dciuhfed ff

  • this is just what i thought^^

  • All the AOR people piled into one stinking shit pile

  • tina's vocals are just amazing, you listen to them all and think they're good, then tina arrives..... and ur like that's it, right there! that's how the song should be sung

  • @alaffey3 well mccartney is the one who wrote it and sang it at the same age turner is there,,and did it perfectly .... guess what HE PLAYS AN ACTUAL INSTRUMENT TOO.instead of talentless turner

  • talk about an allstar band....

  • you do realize that queen was influenced by him and the beatles jack ass

  • pffffft dont caaaaaaare

  • Get Back

  • TINA make that sensacional!!!!

  • Fue un gran momento en la historia del Rock ver juntos tantos talentos ,tanto que los principes de Gales lo disfrutan mucho.en un momento de la cancion Paul y Tina hacen un duo fantastico y explosivo.

  • 0.01 and 3.25 Charles and Lady D

  • Crikey how do you start to list the names on stage here?! McCartney, Tina, Elton John, Phil Collins, Eric Clapton, Bryan Adams and.. Status Quo aswell.. any others? was that Mark Knopfler??

  • Paul Young!

  • What about Midge Ure, Mark King and Howard Jones. didn't you forget to mention those? :P

  • Perchè aspettavo che li ricordassi tu.

I was waiting for your reply !!! Ciao!

  • version hard rock of get back.

  • So what if he fucked up the lyrics?? He was rocking in front of its creator....and believe me, the creator didn't mind(lol!)

  • Fantastic performance! Love all the great rockers rocking it out! Man there is some chemistry between Paul and Tina here without all the sexual stuff!

  • that guy fucked up the lyrics(0:50)

  • Yea agree there.Tina owns this performance.Just roars into life and shows how it should be sung.great lady. She did a version of tearing us apart too but wasnt so strong as she couldnt remember the words.lol

  • Thanks for posting this electric performance by an all-star line-up. It looks as though everyone had a grand time raising money for a worthy cause, all of the performers were in excellent form, and what could be better than that?

  • Sir Paul rocks!

  • I love Tina with that skirt and those high heel shoes

  • lol tina says "i got it" at 1:45..it means she finna take over lol

  • Comment removed

  • @derrickps3 YES!!!! I keep replaying that part!!! I LOVE IT!!!

  • Paul loves Tina... I saw it in his eye's

  • tropelia:

Sir McCartney RESPECTS Tina Turner & that's better than love. When watching clips of TT performing with Jagger or Rod Stewart, notice how unrestrained they are-like get a room or get a hose! Down, boy!

  • I agree it is just great interplay between two performers doing their best and enjoying it. Good stuff by Macca and Tina Turner and the boyzz.

  • Please stop categorize and insult each other!

Just a bloody waste of time. By the way, weren´t Paul, George and Ringo appearing at Prince´s trust at the same night?

  • another legend that still remembered today

  • Mark Knopfler, Mark King, Francis Rossi, Joan Armatrading, Rick Parfit, Midge Ure, Paul Young, Bryan Adams, Paul Mccartney, Tina Turner, John Islesly Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Howard Jones, Elton John and Ray Cooper - what a line-up!

  • absolutely terrific

  • Good, but nothing like the original... since it had John, George, Ringo and Billy Preston on it.

  • wow all my favorites there, but still cannot make up what John Lennon did when he performed with Paul

  • what did John Lennon do when he performed with Paul?

  • You are a retard who should stop believing every bit of propaganda that comes your way. Middle Eastern countries spread that kind of bullshit because they're pissed that they can't get into Israel and blow themselves up in further protest of shit that they could take care of themselves if they weren't in bullshit theocratic oligarchies.

Plus, Paul played great here. Just because he has backup singers doesn't mean he's butchering it. Great lineup for this show, too.

  • Israel is the one that shoots women and children and is the illegal State that is encroaching into Palestinian Lands and has done since 1967. It has put in place a crippling economic blockade and has turned one million people into refugees. Some body came to your country and did that you would be labeled a terrorist too.

For the record Sir Paul is a hypocrite pig who should have retired in 1970.

  • Israel is illegal the same way the US is illegal; it declared independence from an oppressor (Britain). They destroy Palestinians in such ways because of the countless government-sponsored Palestinian suicide bombers that have attacked them over their history.

  • Do you know Paul McCartney personally... by the way everyone in the world is a hypocrite, we all contradict ourselves at some point or other.

As for Paul retering in 1970... no way. He produced the best solo material of any beatle and was still among the worlds top stars in the '70s and '80s. It is an often overlooked fact that Paul is one of the most successful artists ever, even if all you look at is his post-beatles success.

  • Sir Paul is bigger hypocrite playing in a country that was refused nuclear weapons by Kennedy in nineteen sixty three. strange thing is JFK was assassinated and within weeks Israel' military budget more than doubled and soon they got nuclear weapons so you figure it out. if you get away killing president then what chance do civilians have. Sir Paul is big hypocrite for playing Terror State.

  • wow, someone needs a life. As far as I am aware McCartney didn't kill JFK or have any terroriost agenda when he was singing "Get Back"

  • Sir Paul is a cretinous prick anyone with a ounce of humanity would not play in front of those military dictators who own media and have you brainwashed

  • You're the prick if anyone is, juding a whole nation based on who leads it. How foolish!

  • What does "Juding" mean? is that like in

    "Hey Jude"

    sorry,Im just bored.(good comment)X.

  • I think you need help my friend.

Wy are you so angry.Stop being so political.Leave it to the politicians.

We wont change anything so chill out.

(Still,I agree with you)I just dont care anymore!...Do You?

  • Hmmm.... CUBA, not Israel, was behind the JFK assassination. However, they did not get any nuclear weapons. How do you explain that? Also, just because Paul plays in another country, that doesn't mean that he represents all of fucking Britain, you ass.

  • Sir Paul was asked by Israel to come and perform for them. He did. His music has always represented peace.

  • Paul is the undisputed king of pop/rock and Tina the undisputed queen of rock/soul

  • Tina is on fire!!!!
