  • i need some help...igot 4 months to graduation and i have 5 or 6 till vacation and i have not seen my best friend back home since i moved...he put on alot of muscle in a few months and he kept at it but i have not seen him and dont want him to see me the same way as before i left my old town....hes my best friend and his family is really close to mine and i just want to show them a diffrent me...any addvice

  • After 5 months it's not so bad.What's important for u is to do basics exercises(squat,bench press and deadlift).The first step in bodybuilding is the weightgain.And after u chisel ur muscles like a sculptor.I begon at 63 kilos(133 pounds) and now i weight 100 kgs(220 pounds).Don't forget the nutrition.

  • doin good man work your shoulders a bit though itll give a larger apperance plus help you in other excercises

  • there are more muslces in your arm then your bicep.

  • yes def work on ur shoulders, dumbel raises or lateral raise will help

  • If you eat 3500 calories with mostly lean meats and veggies/fruits and acceptable fats- polyunsaturated/monounsaturate­d (you can get that from olive oil, canola oil, nuts, almonds, peanut butter, etc..) you can probably gain about 10-12 pounds and then you'll probably be able bump it up to 4000 calories.

  • 80 percent of what you're trying to do is nutritional. First find out how many calories you normally take in daily. For you I would probably start around 3100-3500 calories. Food that is calorie dense such as unsalted nuts, olive oil, avocado. Trying to get in that many calories means you should spread them out, I usually try for six meals a day. In each meal you should have at least a good carbohydrate source, protein source, and fat source.

  • getting muscular is like getting fat. eat a lot. if you want to be muscuar just make sure you work out aswell.

  • It's cumin m8 just try to hit your triceps as the 2/3 of your arm are tricpes. Keep on pushing and remember eat then eat then eat some more. And make sure you have rest days.

  • one of the things new trainers do wrong is miss out stuff, u didnt say wht u did, but... remember work ur traps, to build a thick neck, and produce a more naturally broad physic. and work ur legs like a horse, if u build ur legs ul produce more anabolic hormones and thus the upper body will get bigger quicker. nice job anyway, keep going. : )

  • You need to eat more protein. Your muscles look like they want to get bigger but aren't getting enough protein..

  • Try lateral raises with very strict form. Your shoulders look like they are really lacking.

  • thanks for your feedback. a lot of people have said i was lacking in the shoulders so i added a couple shoulder exercises to my routine and now i will add these. they look very beneficial. thanks for your interest and positive criticism!

    I'm coming up on my 6th month of training, from all those days of training, reading online and such I've learned that nutrition is very important. Lifting with intensity and focus is huge as as well. I have a lean body like you so I share your pain, keep training hard!

    Check out scooby1961 on youtube, if you haven't already. Great information.

  • you need some SERIOUS work on those shoulders and definitely consider a routine because your proportionality is not all that good

  • you should work on your shoulders too, without that, if you look around 0:22 ish you can see your bicep compared to your shoulder is a lot off. if your going to work your arms, balance it out man, dont make it look rediculous, however your results for what you are working are coming along nicely

  • Looks as though you're only focusing on a few muscles, instead of the major muscle groups - legs, back etc.

    I've been working out all round and I've just started my second month in, check out my videos.

  • Make sure you lift on your legs as well. You should squat and deadlift to increase strength and release testosterone.

  • release testosterone? my legs are in very good shape actually. i run about 6-8 miles a day for my cross country team and running does wonders for my calves

  • man get some triceps ur a bit of an ironing board its clear ur only working on abs and biceps - bring ur back into it
