these arguments are ridiculous. american football is too complex and requires too many resources to be the broad game that football (soccer) is. but it also has about 10 minutes of real playing time, the rest is commercials and standing around, so god damned boring. football (soccer) is a popular/entertaining sport, but it's not a sport for men. the diving and lack of physicality make it somewhat of an embarrassment to watch.
