I have watched many versions of the Tango but love this one best just because it is slow and therefore encourages me to believe I can do it too. I am beginning lessons today... wish I could have had lessons from the person Katie is dancing with.

@237tricia Slow tango is the most difficult. It is also the most Elegant! This is close to show tango rather than social tango and there is a little difference. You can use social tango anywhere.

This Dance from "Tango" is the opposite of the real dance every step you see has been praticed over and over and they way they stare at each other BUT the hauntingly magical voice and song make it worth watching

You may be wrong regarding the dance. It is part of a film but it is also quite plausible.

My wife noticed a couple of errors that would suggest this is actually a lead follow program going on.

I know a couple of dancers that could pull this off.... I am not one of them

I will ask for this song at the next Tango Loco and see if I am correct but I can see it being a slow slow romantic tango that only my wife would allow.
