  • ok, um. wow, this is probably one of the most original movies video tribute vids I have seen on here. I've done a lot of movie tributes as well. Don't let people get you down no matter what their tastes will always be different than yours, if you feel satisfied with your end result product and your friends like it that's all that counts. It was a very entertaining vid, my only thing I have, with the Pulp Fiction quote is a little off sync, but it was entertaining, it was different and unique

  • Better than what i would've done. it had matrix and star wars. even indiana jones and scarface..................... WOOOOOOOOOOOT

  • what is the first choice of music? 0:11 - 0:21 time (violins playing)

  • i think you have ALOT of potential. very well put together. one of the better one's i've seen. LOVE the choice of music. i can only listen to that Requiem song or O Fortuna or Gladiator them music so many times . . . the violins gave it a unique touch . . .

  • This is kind of a disjointed video. It's very sloppy (mostly the music).

  • Team America... Lols

  • fuck you!

  • The music selection and the layout is very strange..lmao.

its like you'll never predict or expect whats gonna come next..it makes it pretty interesting.

this is different from many other montages.

  • thumbs up for smartass motherfucker.

  • Comment removed

  • Bravo..... Bravo.. Absolutely entertaining and moving. Brought out the best in some oldies and new.

  • holy shit... is magnificent!!!! interesting selection of movies but missing some classics.

  • @zoofiesta. thanks so much!!!

  • THE DUDE

  • This was very well made, and I enjoyed it, but it's hard to believe someone would say this was the greatest movie montage ever made. Especially, when "100 Years At The Movies" is out for people to see. That montage for the movies was, not simply amazing, nor just great, but majestic and memorable.

  • It seems that you too are a huge Tarantino, Scorsese, and Kubrick fan. Right on! That was a cool montage, good job.

  • I would just recommend not using mac loops. It's too hackneyed.

  • What's the song that starts playing at 2 05?

  • Aside from the music selection(s), this was a really well-edited montage. The sound editing in particular is really good. Some clips I wouldn't necessarily agree with (Terminator 3? Really?), but everyone has their own tastes in movies.

I just edited my own montage together and should have it up within the next day or two. Please check it out if you get the chance...

  • Awesome just awesome!!!!!

  • I loved it..the music is such amazing and great choice of the films

  • music sucks and spiderman one the greatest movie of all time, really?

  • if you could read, the title is simply the greatest movie montage ever made, not the greatest movies in a montage. if that was the case, half of the montage would be foreign and also date before 1980. it was just a grab bag montage. but perhaps you're too pretentious to see that.

  • Good Video but didn't need the language. just my opinion.

  • Does it music from 3.50 to 4.28 has any name ?

  • MUsic is Horrible!

  • Well, that'd put you in the minority.

  • ha thanks for that reply delta juliet!

  • No problem.

I first commented on this video more than a year ago and I keep coming back to it because it's so damn good.

  • Nice vid, but why didn't you round it up to an even 100?

  • very nice ending, i enjoyed that a lot

  • U should call this "The Greatest Movie Montage of Only Mainstream Hollywood Movies made in the Last 30 or so Years Ago"

U have no The Third Man, Le Mepris, 8 1/2, Gone with the Wind, Nosferatu, Modern Times, La Dolce Vita, The Seventh Sean, Citizen Kane, Rashomon, Sunset Blvd, Cinema Paradiso, Pink Flamingos, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, M, City of God, Y tu Mama Tambien, Amelie, Duck Soup, Double Indeminty, Rear Window, Metropolis, Dinner at Eight, Some Like it Hot, Rebel Without a Cause ect.

  • dude who cares about what you think. if you think these movies are great then you should go make your own montage dude

  • Yes that would've helped.

  • Bro awesome vid....gotta ask though what are the songs starting at 2:23 and 3:52??

  • i made them using garage band...they are a mix of loops.

  • great editing, gotta give you that, very pro, but i dont think its the best...sorry :(

  • I especially like 3:00-3:15.

  • Greatest one on youtube, I think we have just about the same taste in films, I still think The Big Lebowski is the greatest film ever made, but you also have all mine in the top ten like Kill Bill, American Beauty etc. btw have you seen the usual suspects, la confidiental, oldboy, city of god, casino, silence of the lambs or amelie, because you would probably like them?

  • very nice mix! some great classics out there !

what's the movie with Deniro shooting the grocery girl?

  • Jackie Brown

  • that was absolutely excellent my man. very inspiring!

  • excellent sound mixing, sounds a lot like the scores for There will be blood.

  • thanks man.

  • lol you start with my favourite film, the big lebowski and end with my second favourite pulp fiction

  • haha i aim to please

  • Great edit and selection!

  • i've never seen something like this..very amusing..:D

  • thanks!

  • What was the film with Robert DeNiro saying 'Don't say one fuckin' word' and then shooting that woman?

  • jackie brown

  • you got American Beauty! 5 stars!

  • Great montage, very original in the way you presented it, all the movies looked like ones i liked as far as i can remember, and what was the one with the toad falling through the sky?

  • that's magnolia

  • great my top 10 are the big lebowski pulp fiction jackie brown fargo kill bill a clockwork orange american beauty casino goodfellas amelie, most of them were in there btw what are the films at 4:20, 4:08,2:34, 3:43, 2:10 and 0:20
  • 420 is 25th hour 408 is royal tenebaums 234 is leaving las vegas 343 is when harry met sally 210 is american psycho and 20 is A.I.

  • Oh, and I love the vid. More than Chuck Workman's since that one was almost entirely black and white films that I've never seen. Yours has almost all really awesome movies. And some interesting music. I love it.

  • I'll have to check out those times and let you know what movies they are...but thanks for the comments! I appreciate it!

  • Whats the clip at 4:08 , 4:14 , 4:18 and 4:20 ? Just kinda bugged me cuz they were all in a row. I knew what all the rest were and then all of a sudden like 4 in a row I didnt recognize.

  • royal tenebaums at 408, 21 grams at 414, apollo 13 at 418, and 25th hour at 420

  • Thanx lots.

  • This was good, not the greatest of all time, Workman holds that title. I cant understand why you used a Terminator 3 clip, there where a couple others that didnt fit either. What was the movie where De Niro shoots that woman? havent seen that one

  • Jackie Brown (1997).

  • Thanks alot dude

  • its jackie brown by tarantino

  • lives up to the title!!!!

  • thanks man.

  • Great montage. What's the song that kicks in at 2:48?

  • i mixed the music myself. it's all loops from garage band.

  • Wow, you did an excellent job, then. Not just that particular track, but the whole thing.

  • pretty good montage. i enjoyed it... well except for the part where it showed the girl from the exorcist. that girl freaks me out so bad.

    lol

  • Pretty cool! However - Calling it the best ever is either an attempt at as many views as possible or thoroughly inaccurate and inexcusable arrogance.

Chuck Workman holds the Best Ever crown.

  • Wow!!! Great Work,many modern classics.Cut,dialog and music fits perfekly.I enjoy it.Keep working. :D

  • Movie taste a bit like mine, some blood and guts, some romance, some sci fi, and lots of guns. Surprised you have not more views...

    Laters

  • By "classic you mean 10 years ago. I saw TWO black and white movies through the whole thing. Other than that it was good.

  • i never said it was classic that's another guys montage...and there was jaws...godfather...alien...chinatown...clockwork orange...apocalypse now...casablanca...on the waterfront...deliverance...bonnie and clyde...good the bad and the ugly...scarface...butch cassidy and the sundance kid...raging bull...star wars...the graduate...the exorcist...rebel without a cause...indiana jones...all of which are classic, and more than 10 years ago...

But other than that thanks for the compliment.

  • oh and 2001: A Space Odyssey

  • Wow. Very nicely done Pity there were only a few old movies and old classics. But good job for including them! I <3 Casablanca. :)

  • Yeah I can't say this is the greatest movie montage ever, that catergory belongs to "Precious Images" I urge you to look it up and see it, you haven't.

  • Wow. You're right. That was AMAZING! They must have showed all my favourite movies.

  • Loved the transitions - you really know movies to piece this together with the smoothness it has. Excellent!

  • great ending with the switch to black and white

    good stuff man

  • Amazing!Love the music-looks like something you'd see on the Academy Awards clips!
