ok, um. wow, this is probably one of the most original movies video tribute vids I have seen on here. I've done a lot of movie tributes as well. Don't let people get you down no matter what their tastes will always be different than yours, if you feel satisfied with your end result product and your friends like it that's all that counts. It was a very entertaining vid, my only thing I have, with the Pulp Fiction quote is a little off sync, but it was entertaining, it was different and unique
i think you have ALOT of potential. very well put together. one of the better one's i've seen. LOVE the choice of music. i can only listen to that Requiem song or O Fortuna or Gladiator them music so many times . . . the violins gave it a unique touch . . .
This was very well made, and I enjoyed it, but it's hard to believe someone would say this was the greatest movie montage ever made. Especially, when "100 Years At The Movies" is out for people to see. That montage for the movies was, not simply amazing, nor just great, but majestic and memorable.
Aside from the music selection(s), this was a really well-edited montage. The sound editing in particular is really good. Some clips I wouldn't necessarily agree with (Terminator 3? Really?), but everyone has their own tastes in movies.
I just edited my own montage together and should have it up within the next day or two. Please check it out if you get the chance...
if you could read, the title is simply the greatest movie montage ever made, not the greatest movies in a montage. if that was the case, half of the montage would be foreign and also date before 1980. it was just a grab bag montage. but perhaps you're too pretentious to see that.
U should call this "The Greatest Movie Montage of Only Mainstream Hollywood Movies made in the Last 30 or so Years Ago"
U have no The Third Man, Le Mepris, 8 1/2, Gone with the Wind, Nosferatu, Modern Times, La Dolce Vita, The Seventh Sean, Citizen Kane, Rashomon, Sunset Blvd, Cinema Paradiso, Pink Flamingos, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill, M, City of God, Y tu Mama Tambien, Amelie, Duck Soup, Double Indeminty, Rear Window, Metropolis, Dinner at Eight, Some Like it Hot, Rebel Without a Cause ect.
Greatest one on youtube, I think we have just about the same taste in films, I still think The Big Lebowski is the greatest film ever made, but you also have all mine in the top ten like Kill Bill, American Beauty etc. btw have you seen the usual suspects, la confidiental, oldboy, city of god, casino, silence of the lambs or amelie, because you would probably like them?
Great montage, very original in the way you presented it, all the movies looked like ones i liked as far as i can remember, and what was the one with the toad falling through the sky?
great my top 10 are the big lebowski pulp fiction jackie brown fargo kill bill a clockwork orange american beauty casino goodfellas amelie, most of them were in there btw what are the films at 4:20, 4:08,2:34, 3:43, 2:10 and 0:20
Oh, and I love the vid. More than Chuck Workman's since that one was almost entirely black and white films that I've never seen. Yours has almost all really awesome movies. And some interesting music. I love it.
Whats the clip at 4:08 , 4:14 , 4:18 and 4:20 ? Just kinda bugged me cuz they were all in a row. I knew what all the rest were and then all of a sudden like 4 in a row I didnt recognize.
This was good, not the greatest of all time, Workman holds that title. I cant understand why you used a Terminator 3 clip, there where a couple others that didnt fit either. What was the movie where De Niro shoots that woman? havent seen that one
i never said it was classic that's another guys montage...and there was jaws...godfather...alien...chinatown...clockwork orange...apocalypse now...casablanca...on the waterfront...deliverance...bonnie and clyde...good the bad and the ugly...scarface...butch cassidy and the sundance kid...raging bull...star wars...the graduate...the exorcist...rebel without a cause...indiana jones...all of which are classic, and more than 10 years ago...
Yeah I can't say this is the greatest movie montage ever, that catergory belongs to "Precious Images" I urge you to look it up and see it, you haven't.

This is kind of a disjointed video. It's very sloppy (mostly the music).

It seems that you too are a huge Tarantino, Scorsese, and Kubrick fan. Right on! That was a cool montage, good job.

I would just recommend not using mac loops. It's too hackneyed.

Pretty cool! However - Calling it the best ever is either an attempt at as many views as possible or thoroughly inaccurate and inexcusable arrogance.

By "classic you mean 10 years ago. I saw TWO black and white movies through the whole thing. Other than that it was good.

i never said it was classic that's another guys montage...and there was jaws...godfather...alien...chinatown...clockwork orange...apocalypse now...casablanca...on the waterfront...deliverance...bonnie and clyde...good the bad and the ugly...scarface...butch cassidy and the sundance kid...raging bull...star wars...the graduate...the exorcist...rebel without a cause...indiana jones...all of which are classic, and more than 10 years ago...
But other than that thanks for the compliment.
