  • Awe the ol tank... Those trucks rode like a tank and alot of them steered like a cow. I had one that same year and it was a better one for steering. She was tough and dependable with a great cummings engine in her.She plowed like a trouper with Larochelle snow gear The newer Sterlings were nicer to operate and rode and handles way better. Now they aren't produced anymore. The new Internationals are worse to ride in than the older ones and that regeneration system is alot of trouble on some rigs.

  • eh?

  • i work for a contractor up in lewis county, northern new york, nice to see a fellow driver on here!

  • wow that really is a little plow truck

  • Nice truck I plow for my local HIGHWAY DPW in WESTERN MA I have a 2005 international 10 wheeler with 10 ft front blade and 11ft wing

  • snowing like a bastard. This dude must be high as a kite.

  • My snow plow / dump truck is an innapropriate title... should be titled " KICK ASS DESIEL BEAST!!!" ... buuut thats just me

  • That's real class,do you have to swear?Ron G

  • weres your blue light?

  • Can never go wrong with an international. I have a 7500 workstar for my diorama and I just added a triaxle on it.

  • i work for Baltimore county highways dept. and they just bought a bunch of single axle workstar international dump trucks and a few tandem dumps. or should i say intertrashional lol.

  • I also work for a HWY Dept in northern ny. We have intertrashanal trucks too and a new peterbuilt. love it. so much power nice cab spilt wind no snow buildup under wipers.

  • good old "13 letter shit spreader" . INTERNATIONAL. nice rig man

  • that truck is ugly as a mug

  • doesnt matter how it looks. As long as it does the job its perfect

  • was

  • what part of ny you from

  • What year is this rig? A truck like this stretches as far back as the summer of 1977, when this was to replace the Fleetstar 2000A series.

  • This truck is a 2000, S-2500. This is the last year of this body style as far as I know.

  • nice. it may not be a modern day truck but its built for this.

  • upstate NY? i was at ft drum-near watertown. man,,,,,snow!!!!!! good to hear from you. later. scot

  • it that your truck? or do you work for the state? looks like NY

    5***** video!

  • I work for the HWY Dept in my town, it is the towns truck but has been my exclusive battle wagon for the last eight years. Yes it is upstate NY and we just got finished with snow and more on the way. Thanks for watching.

  • This remindes me of the wrecked ford state dump truck my uncle bought for a yard wagon at his scrap yard it was layed over so it had no hood doors or windows it wasn't street legal but it was a hell of a beast I felt like mad max behind the wheel of it there was no exaust to muffle the 500hp turbo Detroit it made me sad when he traded it for a wrecked 379 Pete

  • it looks great

  • thats a baby dump son , try a w900 Kenworth long nose witta 12 footer funnel blade , son ,

  • I'd take this truck anyday over a KW, especially a W900, and funnel plows are a thing of the past for us. Son.

  • nice truck

  • Lucky you - I now have a tandem axle International '07 7600 DT466...comfortable cab and ride but doesn't hold a fuckin candle as far as power is concerned to my old International. It's still a good rig and geared good enough on the low-end that I can still push a shit-load of snow, but man the acceleration and speed is gone. I also run an 11' (Everest/American) plow and wing. Check out my vid if you get a chance and thanks for your plow vid and drive safe brother!

  • Hey bro, thanks for the comment. This truck is now the oldest in the fleet. We got two new 7600's with Cat C-13 380's with 8LL trans. They run like a bear, when they run LOL. Still love my 2500 with N-14 425. Hope to have it for a long time. Take care bro.

  • Nice truck man! I started plowing on an International 2500-series tandem. She'd go wherever you pointed it usually without chains. The new 7600's just aren't the same!

  • gotta love internationals

  • im a plow driver also and people just dont get it the roads are what they are especialy if there secondairies haha

  • Yep, I dont think they'll ever get it unless their in our shoes. Were never there soon enough when it's snowing and then when the roads start to clear, were in their way. Fuck'em, were bigger! Safe driving brother.

  • what was on the ground? 4 inches? ha

  • That would be 4 inches too much for todays society of "bare road" convenience drivers who have to get there "right now".

  • Man im from South Carolina but spent two weeks in Minnesota and love the cold.. Even though where I come from its always hott as hell. But seeing alll that snow makes me miss the cold very badly.. I love 20 to 50 below weather.. Must have something to do with family have viking roots so I think its buried in the genetics..

  • lol
