  • hah friend is like this, but his excuse it anyone who takes photos is a photographer, But I mean if they know what the settings all do, and know about lenses etc. That counts haha.

All these kids using auto settings lol

  • I know a guy who has been doing photography for several years with a really good camera but he's horrible at taking pictures. :\

  • So true, I know a few people like this.

  • So damn true. I hate when things become mainstream, for example: "LIKE OH MAI GAWDZ LOLSS I GAWTS A NIKON ILY PHOTOGRAPHY XOXOX *takes bullshit pictures of starbucks coffee, soda bottles and of stupid poses in front of a mirror*" and I'm just like, fuck... they don't deserve it, they don't even know the first thing about photography and don't even value the aesthetics of it. For everyone who wants to buy a DSLR, they show a certificate of photography experience before they can buy. Literally.

  • Hahaha I just started like 3 months ago and I know my ISO ect... hahaahahah I suprised the live sh*t out of a professional photographer when I should him my Flickr. The one that really caught him was one I took with my cell phone. It don't matter that camera, a good photo is a good photo. Period. (I studied my Photog Triangle and well, I now shoot on manual with my Nikon p500). I have a friend who has the LATEST Canon Rebel and well... LOL So grateful that I had a tough mentor.

  • Attractive (or semi-atractive women) who decided they are photographers usually have a bunch of guys and some women telling them how great they are. "Wow, a black and white image of your sofa, awesome! "

  • Its all about self-promotion

    not about art at all

  • Lmao they should do one on models if they haven't already. SMH

  • i <3 my rebel XT lol

  • i bet animators get pretty pissed off about people who make youtube videos using xtranormal.

  • no patient to listen 2.18 minutes dialog

  • I'm always afraid of coming off the way the lighter bear does. But I can comfort myself with the fact that I've developed film and paper on a regular basis before and I know what the settings mean, like aperture, ISO/ASA, and shutter speed. I'm still scared that I'll sound like a complete newbie, though.

  • Bahaha. This is so true. Wanna be photogs drive me nuts!

  • So true...

  • Love this so much because it's so true! :P

  • This made my day xD

  • digital strawmen ftw!

  • EVERY freakin body is a photographer. OMG.

  • This is hilarious! But, gear makes a total difference. You need the tools to work and do what you're trying to accomplish. Lighting is key in all circumstances. Something that can never be perfected, but the closer you get to doing so the more pro you become.

  • This is so true to life. The art of photography is becoming so degraded.

  • I love how they brought up the Rebel XT.

  • this is mine !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Oh my good...ness!"

  • Haahahahaha....

  • HAHA! this is so accurate

  • HAHAHAA every single picture on CD!!!! This killed me.

  • hahahahahaha!!!!! I actually had a friend that met a lady who said she had just started a photog business and that she was getting really good at guessing the settings. When my friend asked her if she used the light meter the lady said she didn't know what that was. God help us, they are getting worse!!!

  • @gillianalexis there's a "professional" photographer in my area who had multiple 200+ portfolios and she said she does that so her clients can see she dose not get "lucky" shots.....I feel like moving back there and running her into the ground, am I a bad person? lol

  • bwahahahaha so true!!!

  • "The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE." - Ernst Haas

  • XD this is funny

  • lmao

  • Big fun!

  • Everyone on Facebook who owns a camera is a photographer these days.

  • @gcobbutube afkngreed

  • @gcobbutube Why not? Most people that call themselves "Pros" aren't actually making money.

  • this is awesome
