  • i just got diagnosed about 12 days ago . i think iv had it for 40 years .i dont know what shape my liver is in and in the spring ill do some tests to see .

now im on a homeopathic cure called lycodium, an extract of clubfoot moss .

i started in the afternoon and the next morning i came awake in about two seconds ,this after heavy drunken sleeps . my energy is up and my brain is somewhat sharper . i will keep using this . and im very happy with it . there is no garantee but time will tell.--->

  • same here , I took these drugs - I,m sick & I tried TX Twice - I,m worse :( QC

  • this is not a cure. My mom took this stupid drug and now she is worse!!!

  • Virus DORMANCY; that's all this treatment affectively does. There are also more than 5 types of Hepatitis C. The most aggressive of these is 1a. 1a is the virus in my liver and circulatory system.(INTERFERON) is only 23% affective w/ 1a. If it works. If not, too bad! .... What a total load.

  • NOT OFFICIALLY and/or Completely! This old quack is saying they can cure U! Effective routes are: natural, organic, holistic, etc. Modern med's can only slow the progress of the virus in you. Treatment bozo was refering too is ugly. ITs a horrid medicine that makes U sick until its done & after all the pain, frustration, confusion, etc., you still have and are positive for the virus. You can still pass it through I.V.'s or even really dirty piercing/tattoo equiptment.

  • Paid shill.

  • The side effects are so horrendous that some 300,000 people have

    discontinued treatment.

Do a search on A-VAg47, has NO side effects and is a fraction of the cost.

  • The treatment has so many horrendous side effects that some 300,000 people have discontinued treatment, that's how bad they are, not to mention that it only has a 40% or so success rate.

Do a search on A-VAg47, has NO side effects and is a fraction of the cost.

  • Recently 2 new anti viral medications were approved for hep c treatment (telaprevirl, boceprevir) which vastly improve the cure rate for hepC(. even for the hard to treat genotype 1. ) My advice is to get treated ASAP. God bless you.

  • Look I am a physicist (Biophysicist) and physician who has worked with people treated with ribo and interferon, all that is happening is that it prevents the virus replication while at the same time giving you a fever(Thus heating your body's core temperature) "Bursting" the virus in the same manner boiling water kills the germs

If you want REAL viable treatment options please contact me and check out my page

  • This poor guy must wake up in a different world every day.

  • Clinical trial Recruiter for HCV 1b, non treated and non compromised immune systems in Southern California

  • Suggested reading "Herbs for Hepatitis C and the Liver" By Stephen Harrod Buhner. Stay far away from MD'S. Suggested reading " Basic Health Publications Users Guide to Treating Hepatitis Naturally by Douglas MacKay, ND Also liver books from Sandra Cabot. Get online and research.

  • These drugs CAUSE CANCER. You can get some patients blood tests to show NO DETECTABLE HCV, but it is a stealth virus and is also in the lymph system and/or cerebrospinal fluid which they cannot test for HCV. Doctors will accelerate your death if you have HCV. Do your own research and LIVE.

  • Cure for Hepatitis C Announced Today...what a crock of b.s there is no cure that guy should get some of my blood in him...then he stop making comments like that...jerk offs like him should have to walk the walk after they talk that talk....

  • @humanecrashtestdummy there is a cure and im living proof i had hepc type 1b and just spent one year on treatment interferon and ribiviron and have completely cleared the virus the doctors have labelled me as cured so go pull yer head out of yer ass and go ask a doctor

  • you dont have to take my word for it. look at the incredible success of Dr Fred Klenner. He cured 60 people out of 60 from polio in 1949 with high dose vit C infusion. it is obvious that pharmaceutical companies have no interest to fund research in this field because it wont bring them any profit.

  • people have to be optimistic and open minded when it comes to possible treatments. there is a practitioner in australia who survived a car accident and had a few operations and a transplant. He has been on vit c for 25 years now with no side effects. even with all that metal in his body. He prescribes it to his patients regularly. I came across vitamin C through my mother who is a GP. i am a student of medicine and will also recommend Vit C to my patients with acute viral infections.

  • In many of the studies that say there is a cure, they also say that people may clear the virus for a time and then the virus can come back and in some studies this happens within two years, can take as long as 10 years to come back. Research funding gets cut off because we have a cure right!!

  • @chuckamullin i aggree 100% with you..there is no cure yet...and they are not headed in the right direction to find one....

  • This Guy should be fired, he is talking about the virus being a bacteria, Until there is a vaccination there is now way to slow done the damage that is caused by the virus, Doctors that make statement like this do more harm than good, the treatment he is talking about only works less that 50% of the time, how can you call that a cure.

  • hi

  • of type 1 and 4 genome, the success rate is 50%, here's what the salesman doesn't tell you....for the 50% that don't respond, half die within 2 years from accelerated complications, and the range of complications are massive. I personaly have only met one success story have watched three people die from the drug failures. IF YOU DONT BELIVE ME, ASK YOUR PROVIDER FOR THE REAL STATS, NOT THE COOKED ONES. thank you and good luck

  • i recently went to a specialist for hep c and was told there is no cure, but they do have a pill that you can take for a year that will put it in a dormant stage.i met over 60 people taking the treatment and yes it has side affects naturally.most said it makes you tired and feel like you have flu symptoms.the ones who completed the 1 year said it was well worth it.in my case i take other meds and i drink so that would be my call on the outcome.im in my 40s now so i guess it depends on me now.

  • ! - 2 punch, huh. Thanks for nothing. False hope. Definitely not a cure. Positively more of a hindrance if you make it out alive.

  • ! - 2 punch, huh. Thanks for nothing. False hope. Definitely not a cure. Positively more of a hindrance if you make it out alive.

  • so they can cure it? somebody?

  • or you can do some research and pray the answers will find yee faithfull

  • bullshit.... i watched interferon kill two of my close friends.....look up the success rate and then decide whether you want to take it!

  • @revchriss Medical Secret!

Taking interferon / ribavarin for Hepatitis and not monitoring the blood test glucose levels over a period of several months can kill off the pancreas insulin producing cells targeting them as Hepatitis virus when there are very few or hepatitis viruses to target.

Doctors who do not monitor the glucose weekly, while giving interferon are quacks who just want to make lifetime patients and collect off your medical insurance.

  • bullsheet for any genotype other than 1

  • protease inhibitors, polimaise inhibitors, coktails involving these and traditional hep C remedies, to cut treatment time and increase odds of a cure.

None have been aproved just yet, but some are in phase 3 research, sue out this year or nex year. It's all over the internet, and any decent doctor can tell you about them. But they aren't aproved just yet.

  • has a cure been released to the public or to any hospitals in the last 3 years since this video?

  • Ok!... I`m living in Romania... a EU state.... so ... my father has hepatitis c... he payed... health care inssurance..ok ...my father now needs to pay interferon 200 Euros...this meens 300 dollars i guess.. or better than this....my father and my mom got a 400 euro total in one month... so how can they pay this money for my father to be ok? ... to be cured? i`m just asking...! my familiy got to pay banks like 100 -180 euro /month to banks.... can anyone help us? ... thanx

  • never mind their bullshit vaccines...look up bob beck and the cure by radio frquency ...big success stories...god bless...be aware of the mediKILL conspiracy of orthodox mediSIN...God Bless one and all

  • your just selling drugs,.i bet you wouldnt take that poison.your a quack.

  • i swear, i had hepitite C type 1 and i used this medication for a year. i am now 100% cured. thank Allah and then thank those who worked on that midicin

  • Yes,

It works about half the time.

Better drugs are on the way.

  • @milascave

    WHAT DRUGS?

  • They work 50% of the time Doc...tell the truth!!!!

  • get your facts right! It helps like 25%........thats not a cure!

  • @shawnquin I was told at the beginning of my first treatment that there was only a 25% chance of being cured; since then I have received treatment two more times. It was horrible to go through; with brain fog, feeling nauseous most of the time, tired and achy (like have chronic flu)......... Guess what? I FAILED ALL 3 TIMES TO CLEAR THIS AWFUL THING THAT IS REARRANGING MY ANATOMY INTERNALLY AND MY LIFE FOR THE WORST!! So, yeah... Doc needs to get a better education, then tell the TRUTH!!

  • your a fuc*ing liar

  • my brother has just died from this drug, DONT TAKE INTERFERON its evil & will destroy u mentally & physically.

  • This treatment does not work with blood that is geno type 1. I know as I received this treatment for 12 months

  • @TheArchangelxxi I am also Geno/type one and I am also a Non responder to

Ribarvirin/Peg Interferon. However it did clean up my system a great deal therefore

it allowed me a few extra years of life. This

treatment made me really ill and I don't think I could go through it again.I now "must" have a Liver Transplant as I am that far gone with the relentless attack

of this Nasty/Spitefull virus.I have just had my assessment and I am waiting to see

if they will choose me for one.*GED*

  • @TheArchangelxxi This treatment does work with genotype 1,but the success rate is lower.

  • im so worried about my dad i cry all day :( he has it.. can he be cured?

  • Don't be....this or that!? Well people get this stuff brought to them as an only option. "And somethingmaybey we can look how it'll work, dear patient of mine"

Furthermore in Revchris's face: The best advice i got today is to not join any bank...for that matter :s

  • this is bullshit....its a radioactive drug that works about 7% of the time while changing your diet and stimulating your immune system naturally has a success rate of over 60%.......... interferon was a failed drug that was out of use for over a decade because of its fatality rate before they started experimenting with hep c patients... dont be a statistic to the medical field.....

  • @revchriss you're an idiot, interferon is produced by the body and has a 30 to 80 percent success rate depending on genotype.

  • @Stonewalljackson7 awwww.... name calling......hahahahahahahahahahaha

that was an excerpt from the medical science journal!

  • @Stonewalljackson7 awwwwwww did i hurt your feelings ......... resorting to name calling...hahahahaha!

that was an excerpt from the medical science journal!

  • my mother has hp c. she took the drugs 4 6 month. she tested negative . 6 month later she was positive again, now she is going 4 one year treatment. any IDEA that she might be healed? does the virus go away or it's life time thing?. i really want to know ..... plz help

  • @mafia1953

Some people do clear the virus for life. In the case of HCV type 2 or 3 the chance of clearing is greater than type 1 or 4.

Also they have found HCV can pass through the blood brain barrier, and that may be a source of re-infection of the liver.

I pray your mother beats this virus, and god bless you for caring for her.

  • the virus is for life, even after a transplant. I also have Hep C and I will prey for your mother. Do not give up hope! Have faith in God, He will find a way to help you cope and He will strengthen your mother. Above all do not weaken as this will affect your mother. God Bless you

  • Peg-Interferon alfa 2b?! No can do sir! Not to all Pheno's !

  • Pheno's = Geno's

  • I was a corpsman in excellent shape in 1972. I found out in 1990 during a blood donation. I have it tried all things in 19yrs to rid myself of this virus for us with 1A Genotype forget it. Now at stage 4 cirrhosis. transplant is the only option and it will strike the transplant within 7 yrs as well.

  • Anyone with Hep C needs to know that there are safer ways to deal with this problem. Cheapest, safe way: MMS. Google it, get the free ebook downloaded, read the story. If you can, get the video if you are unconvinced. Lloyd Wright - get his books on amazon. He cured himself safely, though it cost a lot more. I think the nutritional support of his program is important. Coconut oil destroys protein-encapsulated viruses - like hep c - and isn't the evil oil you thought. Get educated.

  • Is this true???

  • Dr. Mitchell L. Shiffman from the Medical

    College of Virginia, Richmond (M.L.S.)

  • I am 31 weeks into a 48 week treatment. Virus has been undetectable in the blood for last three months. In the last two weeks I have developed an auto immune problem. My body is attacking my joints in my knees, shoulders, hands and elbows. Extremely painful. I am seeing the doc tomorrow to drop treatment. I'll need to start treatment for my joint pain. Hope damage is reversaible! Good LUCK!!!

  • i had hep c for many many years ,and started to get very ill ,i then went into

treatment for 6 months now it is gone and that was 2 years ago.

  • bullshit i had the therapy with this shit no fuckin doctor told me that there is a 51 percent possible treat if you have gen 1a, just fucked up my health for a while

now recovered and waiting for Vertex Pharama VX-950

100% cure, the only problem, 11% of patients cant take it because of the sideeffects...

  • Hey! My dad is in the later stages of cirrhosis.. Interferon didnt work for him now he is taking a low dose 3 times a week dosage but I told him to stop after reading that it doesnt do anything! plz tell me more about Vertex Pharama VX-950.. is it available in canada???

  • its in a last trial stage and has to be in a market in the end of 2009

99% cure but 11% drop out because of sideeffects but its the best medical known.

  • wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! even for end stage liver cirrhosis??? wil it be availa in canada???

  • no man dont know much about this disease its curing only hep c :(

  • oh I got mine from a hysterectomy. the doc said i should feel really god in a few months well... not I got severlt ill 4 months after the surgery i was in the docs office . i was shocked to hear the diagnoses. it has been 11 yrs. i will never take interferon ever again.

  • I did the interferon combo for 6 months it was horrid. It not only detroys your immune system it makes the body more weak. it does not cure the virus . you can get viral loads down without all of the damage this shit causes by takiing the right herbs . and diet change helps. like no sugar , cigaretts or alcohol which feeds the virus. alkaline diet helps too. peace.

  • I had genotype 2, which has an 80% cure rate. I was cured with only 13 weeks of treatment, although such a brief duration is not recommended unless a patient suffers severe side effects, as i did.

Genotype 1, which is the most common in the US, has only a 55% cure rate. However, there are new meds in clinical trials that are curing people who failed on the current regime. Most people will be curable in the next few years, it is estimated.

  • as above these rugs he go's on about may cure strains 3-4 but if you have 1or4 there is a chance it could cure most clinics or hospitals give treatment for 12 weeks now then do tests and if the count has'nt dropped then it is pointless to continue as its not going to work you will have to live with it as i have for 23 years now and i have never had any symtoms i had a biopsy 15 years ago which showed sciroces and i am about to start interferon for the second time i lasted 3 months last time

  • This is a great and positive video because it is simple and to the point. Hep c can be cured with the treatment. What is the problem with that? The treatment works! Those with geno 3 can eradicate it with treatment in only 6 months and those with other geno types take it for 1 year. There are non-responders but it works for the majority of sufferers - check out the statistics from hospitals and see the results for yourself.

  • There is no cure for Hepatitis C. Videos like this is why people have lost their trust in doctors.

  • @jonathangems7 you're an idiot, statements like yours are why people have lost trust in morons like you.

  • you are so ignorant.. you have no idea how serious this disease is...

  • This IS misinformation. If your BS stuff was true, then my father wouldn't be dead as of Monday August 25, 2008 due to the virus entering his heart and causing myocarditis! He's been diagnosed with HCV since 2002 and the doctor said he's likely had it about 20 years. He abused drugs in the 80's and early 90's. He was on Interferon and ribo pill combo. He had been on it for over a year. He got worse, not better. Your drug doesn't work on chronic HCV cases!

  • This is misinformation. Very naughty.

  • hep c will not bother you for the first 15 or 20 years. but wait and see. when you have had it for nearly 40 years, you will feel different. take my word for it.

  • @nadflah i AGREE 110 %, it has nearly killed me twice, now im 6 mths into pegasys/ribavirin treatment, testing negative, but man, am i sick! I sleep up to 16 hrs a day, and hardly leave my house... i hope its worth it.

  • @nadflah whats this like .. ive had it for about 15 years.. ?

  • I've had hepatitis C from 1970 to date. As a genotype 1 HCV infected, I am beeing treated at Norways most famous university hospital. The doctor's in this hospital is up to date with whatever research progress achived, in the US or elsewhere. I just want to say that I've been given no promises, sounding like this man's statements. Search Youtube for "Isolated virus killer" if you want to see my face during the first attempt and/or read more info.

  • Mitchell Shiffman should be jailed for spreading barefaced lies. Is he insane? Don't trust this snake-oil salesman.

    An evil man. Shocking.

  • This is a barefaced lie. Outrageous!

  • my husband was diagnosed with hep c. he went thru a year of treatment, maxed out our credit card, and that treatment didnt work. his doctor wants to try a different injectible. but with insurance our copay monthly will be almost 700$. ive searched and searched but there is no help out there. i think we've both have given up. so there is a cure out there well bull shit who can afford it???? oh and a big thanks goes out to our wonderfully crappy insurance highmark blue cross blue shield

  • check out: 'Me, Hep C and the NHS'

    Good luck!

  • there is no luck involved it all comes down to money

  • To say there is no cure for anything is the height of ignorance, and quenches progress and hope, it would be more correct to say, 'no cure has YET been discovered'.

I believe there is always a cure (with God)... for anything, if not known, yet to be discovered.

  • Tiger not only avoid alcohol it is like gast to a fire but adding Tylenol or any brand of, is so so so much worse. IT can kill you. For sake or count I used the brand name but I mean all of the types of, and it is dangerous to the liver itself. It is in so many drugs, like pain meds. God can cure you for sure. He gives man gifts to help cure. He gives us potatoes but he expects us to pick up the hoe too. Learn what your livers role is. That is the best first advice. The least chemicals helps

  • @seekingmichala so what's better? Tylenol?

  • im on interferon pegasys treatment but im starting to drink beer often now im worried that im wasting my time is beer really bad while on the treatment

  • Get RID of that beer! Of course it is bad! Alcohol makes the virus multiply. If you are trying to get rid of the virus, you are just wasting your time if you're going to drink.

  • Avoid any alchohol. Reports of side effect of Recombinant thereapy ie: Pegasys, Interferon/Ribavirin have indicated that many times the cure is worse than the disease. In my research and observations, it does more harm than good much of the time, and I believe it destroys/degenerates the central nervous system and parts of the brain.

I would consicer the Thymosin and Mistletoe extract therapies with Oxygen etc...The carrier in the interferon injection is polyethylene, used as a car coolant etc

  • Tiger while I agree with some of what you say, because it compromises or seems to your autoimmune system and I eneded up with four predisposed auto immunes, you can't push something like that and people could be dying while trying. At least under a doctors care they have a chance. Educate and you guys, pray to Jesus. If you can't look at this world and see what is happening , READ REVELATIONS . Read TIM LeHay , Are We Living in End times. Compare the three.world, TH, Gods word

  • thats the book of REVELATION, not revelations

  • HP OF ALL KINDS CAN BE CURED IN MANY WAYS

  • God is the cure.

  • lol

  • @power123 : What a joke.

  • There is no cure. It can only go into remission! Mines been in remission for 3yrs.

  • I am so happy for you Nae and the fact that you probably take very good care of your health and one of the best things you can do is keep your immune system stoked. I just had a friend of 6 years clear go detect and this man did nothing to reinfect himself. After helping to run a hep C chat room for 11 years, and over 90 thousand members , I have seen a lot. When I was diagnosed I had a 13 % chance.. I check yearly. I take great care of me. God has blessed me. I wish I could tell you there was

  • I've worked in the hep C field here in Australia since I got a diagnosis back in 1994. I tend to agree with Mitchell Shiffman. Treatment response has improved from the early 1990s 10-20% sustained viral response (cure) to the current 50-80% cure rates. Sure, treatment can be tough. I went through 12 months of it not too long ago. Did it work for me? No. But I don't regret giving it a go. For more info, check out our info factsheets. See profile for website or google "hep C council NSW"

  • There is NO CURE for HVC!

and it makes me so mad to

hear a Doctor say there is!

    It's BS!

  • There is no cure. Even if you test negative (not just undetectable), if a sample of your body tissues is examined for the virus, it will be found. You are probably not able to pass the virus on, and hopefully, it won't do any damage, and probably, if you've had a sustained response, it will stay like that. The disease's natural progression should be interrupted. It's worth it, in my opinion.

  • I found out in 1999 that I had Hep C. There had not been a test for it till 1992. Until that time it was called Non A Non B. I was looking at a magazine and it was on the front page. I got checked because I had worked in Blood Plasma but more I had Jet Gun Innoculation in the military and I had heard that a lot of military had Hepatitis C. I studied and researched with the best on the net and there had not been one word a doctor could tell me. cont., There is no Cure

  • This guys is totally full of shit. there is no cure yet.

  • Reishi! :p

  • IT's NOT TRUE! I have genotype 3, which is supposedly the easiest to treat. I was on two treatment runs of pegylated interferon (Once with PegIntron, once with Pegasys) with Ribavirin. One treatment lasted a year, one lasted 15 months. I relapsed within 2 months after each treatment.

  • i heard interferon has a low success rate. The true player for Hep C is Reishi a mushroom from china its used in china and japan and it is very effective. For it to work at its best you must have your PH in the right zone.. check out healthline dot cc

  • none of that crap worked for me though =) but im happy for you guys.

  • Im not a VET like yourself btw. Im 26 of age and its going better every day.

  • Vietnam Veteran. Hope this is true. Had all the Treament. Almost killed me. Negative for two years. Took me that long to get over the treatment. Haven't recovered a hundred percent. Didn't get sick until ten years ago. No doctor or anyone knew what it was.

  • What do you mean by Negative? you mean Negative by side effects?? depressions???

I had depressions myself for a long time... this is a nasty side effect caused by the INTERFERON ...

  • Sorry. I meant to say the virus is undetectable. Have been on meds for an inherited major depression disorder most of my adult life. Took nine months to get regulated on a new psych drug before being allowed to take the treatment. Damn, thought I was depressed before, these two drugs dumped me in a hole I almost didn't get out of. Much better now but had to work hard.

  • My mon is about to start her treatment if her doctor say so. Could you please tell me how bad was your depression from INTERFERON? I haven't known anyone with depression so I have not understood what it actually is.

  • This is TREATMENT for hep c, NOT a cure! There is no such thing as a cure for hepatitis c. Interferon treatment also doesn't work for everybody. This virus is never truly eradicated from the body, even with treatment the virus can return.

  • What do you mean.. no cure???

I had type 1a of the Virus and used both drugs for a year!!! (Ribavirine and Interferon) The virus disapeared and still is after 2 years... I had a 50% chance, but if you have discipline in taken your medicine it increases your chances of "ELIMINATING" the virus.

  • Thats what i did... + i had the luck that i DISCOVERED the virus in a EARLY STAGE. I had an BLOOD TRANSFUSION back IN 1988 and discovered it in 2004!!! 16 YEARS LATER... well im cured... and i wish everyone luck who must go the same path as I have... I will make you soo STRONG in the end.

  • so has this already been approved by the FDA

  • from what i understand it is being employed by physicians to treat patients. if it is not an indicated combination therapy this type of treatment is known as off-label. With reliable studies, most doctors trust these type of off-label usages, especially if they themselves see results.
