But I'm going to venture a guess that, a large contribution to the reason it is crying, is because you are holding it off its center of balance, with one hand, and up against a wall. A perfectly tame cat, or human baby, would cry just the same..

@Casper48022 It's crying because it's orphaned. For the 100th time I am not holding it against the wall. See the shadow? There would be no shadow if it were against the wall. I am merely holding it in front of a white background so you can see her better. They cry in their comfy incubators in soft fleecy beds. It's just what some orphans do when they first arrive just like a human baby would cry if separated from it's mother.

@baarbear In order to get your own permit in California you need to work for another rehabber for two years, take a two day basic course, have legal caging, pass an inspection and pay a fee. If you want to rehab wildlife for another rehabber, you just have to sign up to volunteer. Thanks.

My papa feeds racoons alot he has about 7 mommies that have babys! They come to his back yard wich haz trees and is like a forest and he feeds them cheep dog food they love it, and theres a little drinking bowel and they all use it as a pool! So cute!

I posted this video because new raccoon rehabbers get in babies. They cry and cry. There is nothing wrong with the babies. They just want their real mommies. Unfortunately their real mommies are dead. Soon they realize we are their new mommies and they are happy.
