@OKKWAMOS When using "side by side" viewing, I "swap (right-left) so I can use cross-eyed viewing. I think your "de-focus" is referring to parallel viewing (like for Magic Eye pictures). I can make that work for me on YouTube because I think the images are too wide, my eyes would need to diverge instead of cross.
i think i know y 3D aint working for most people cus they replaced red and blue with purple and green. red and blue is tradional but guess they think purple and grean dont hurt ure eyes as much and i guess work better
@legomaster615 Note that you can pick what ever 3D viewing technique you want to use from the 3D pop-up menu right below the video. I recommend "Cross-eyed" without glasses, or some black&White version with colored glasses for the best looking 3D effect.
First off let me say that the 3D is perfect. I am a very skilled stop motion animator myself, and I will say that this is a good video because it made me laugh, and it was very well animated, plus anything in 3D looks cool haha. Well done, I would like to see if you could make a fight sequence perhaps? Or something involved with action with your legos. Otherwise, I loved the video, great job, I know just how long these things take, and the commitment it involves. Congrats.
@Zoot101 Glad it worked for you. I'm starting to wonder if some people are having trouble with the 3D because they are trying to view by Parallel Viewing (like w/ Magic Eye posteres) instead of Cross-eyed Viewing. If the 3D player is set to one method and someone uses the other method to view it, the 3D will looked reversed.
Also the colourshift dusnt need to be as large as it is here a minor amount gives a good depth. Your shift is so much that everythin has too much duplication, giving bad results. Ive tried it with all 3d glasses ive got (5 types) and I can only get C/M to work. If theres anyone that can cross thier eyes that far they need to see an optician. YouTube 3D?... Very bad feature if you ask me! Messed up your animation, I would resubmit a standard version, but thats just me. Good animation otherwise
@shirtysleeve The "color shift" is all done automatically by YouTube's 3D player. I have no control over that. For cross-eyed free viewing, you really don't need to cross your eyes that much. In fact, the challenge is that you have to cross your eyes just a tiny bit to make it work, not a full-blown eye cross. You only have to cross your eyes about as much as you would to focus both eyes on your finger held about 8 inches in front of your face.
Sorry to give this vid such a bad post but i know how stereoscope works & this aint it. The 3D aint right at all, just shifting the colours of the entire image makes the entire image flat but at a depth. Some of the vid does seem to have some depth but its in reverse. The title bits work, kind of. u shudnt av had the colours cross sides they need to stay on thier respective side and when they converge they are then at thier most forward. should have researched stereoscope 1st mayb it cuda worked
@shirtysleeve If you think the 3D is reversed (I don't think it is, I was very careful about that), try flipping your 3D glasses so the colors are on the opposite sides, that should fix that. Also, Cross-eyed versus parallel reverse the right and left images when going from one to the other, in case you really think things are reversed.
@Isparkshortfilms Are you sure you picked the right 3D glasses setting from the 3D player's pop-up menu? If so, maybe you could try flipping your glasses over, see if that makes a difference. I know the cross-eyed technique works, I've only tested one pair of 3D glasses on YouTube's 3D player.
Nice Lego 3D video!

When watching this on no-glasses mode de-focus your eyes, don't cross eyes!

@ancientbricks cool defeats my purpose that ppl just dont have red blue glasses anymore for they can change it to green and purple nice effect

Well it was nice in all, but it ended WAY to quickly. A proper ending would be nice next time. Other than that I enjoyed it.

Good 3d, especially with the camera movement. And it was funny.

Am I the only person for whom the 3D worked? Very entertaining, I liked it a lot.

The only time the 3D was slightly 3D was at the titles. Lego doesn't really go with 3D because there's nothing to come and pop out at you.

It felt like this was just one more scene put onto the trailer. I expected more.
Good animation though.

Hope you place well,

The 3D was unfortunately very poor, and though the animation was great, it still make up for the shortness as well.

I thought the films were supposed to have some kind of plot?

Just a simple masterpiece, but sadly, it was too short and too anticlimatic to win an award. 4/5.
