  • how much was you mali uromastyx?

  • for all people using laser heat thermomiters. it averages the heat of everything the thing is pointed at. so if you point it at glass intending to measure the temperature inside IT DOES NOT WORK. be smart. use a temp gun INSIDE the cage so you get INSIDE temp not GLASS temp. good luck to all reptile fans :) nice vid btw

  • you have a lot of reptiles i have a snow corn snake shes great and how big do they get

  • is that a suitable cage for a adult

  • very Delicious Uromastyx

  • You okay there man? at the beginning you were leaning to the side. Might want to get a physical, haha.

  • I dont think thats a 20 gallon, unless your cam stretches out the vid.Liked this vid.

  • as long as you have the light over his hide he will stay in there most of the time

  • i'd have to turn you over to chronicdiving on this one. He is very reliable and he says in his mali uromastyx proper care video " you can handle them once in a blue moon"

  • i dont reccomend heat rocks really as they can overheat often. definatelly make sure you have a light that emits UVB rays as to prevent metabolic bone disease. ReptiHalogen is a good bulb that emits heat and UVB

  • aww i feel bad for him...all scared =P

  • sry kid no harm intended didnt watch the whole vid

  • hey where did u get your uro?

  • @MrPlanetcole Hmmm..Didnt it say in the video description, and i quote, "And lastly i bought him for $60 and i dont remember who i bought him from so please dont ask."

  • Are they the pets that like to be handled? are they better than leopard geckos ?

  • @DeadXRiders most really dont like it but mine loves it

  • is he justin bieber? lol good video

  • that cage sucks and you're an emo fag

  • hey how much did you get it for

  • dig the hair

  • u ride motorcross

  • do u have a gecko video

  • enclosure is to small, dont have the correct temperature, wrong substrate, should never put food bowl in the enclosure unless its on a elevated place,he needs a basking spot,he needs a cool end and a hot end

  • these guys are one of my favorite lizards, he has a sweet name too!! haha

  • my teacher has one but no uvb light all he has is a heat rock is this ok (im planing on buying him)

  • @mysilentcannon88 no, they need a uv light and a different heat source. a heat rock only warms their belly and have been known to fail and burn the lizards. a heat lamp would be much better choice

  • @jeffevens13 thanks for your help im getting him on monday ill be sure to get him the right items

  • @jeffevens13 They both need it, and they don't. It's best to have the UV light for the artificial rays it gives to try to make it more healthy 2.0 UV lights are good. On the other hand, i've seen plenty of Uro's go fine without those lights.

  • @jeffevens13 Both they need it and they don't. They don't need the artificial sun rays, it's just to keep some healthy as can be. I've seen plenty Ero's go without UV without any actual cancer or other health issue. Also about the heat rock, thats probably the heating rock that plugs in, if it burns the lizard. could just place a heater under the glass then the rock. Still heats the rock to a safe point.

  • @mysilentcannon88 heat rocks are no good, sometimes the temperature thing will break on the inside making it really hot and burning your lizards belly

  • @mysilentcannon88 Well dont a heating rock can kill them

  • @mysilentcannon88 I've had my Uro for 10 years and NEVER had a uvb light. Always one or two heat lamps that are 120 degrees. Idk, I guess my liz has adapted...

  • @Lounsbury91 well i have an ornate but he has uvb. it depends if u give calcium with d3

  • hey those are so cool i was wondering how big do they get? and how big of a cage would one need?

  • how much does one cost?

  • lol 20 gallon way off that is a 55

  • nice uro ;)

  • yes it is usually go for about 100-150

  • nice hey is 75$ a good price for uro im going to get 1

  • if you want him to eat out your hand then you get some curly kale or his favorite treat and wiggle it i front of him movement attracts them to eat it mine does it now he eats beepollen from my actuall finger yes it hurts becuase its a sharp nip and jaws lol hope it works

    ps check mine out

  • Heyy man .. I recently brought a Uromastyx a few weeks ago, in the first 2 weeks I got him hand friendly and he/she now eats from my hands. May I suggest that you put your hand in the cage and stroke him, this helps him feel more relaxed and less scared of hands coming in the cage... After that he/she should eventually climb onto your hand like mine does :D

  • nice mali uromastyx setup vid. 5*'s

  • Wow he's really small.

  • haha yep hes a little spud! =P

  • hey cool uro. i was just wondering if you saw any yellow nigerian uros there. if so how much were they if you remember. thanks

  • i think i did see some one sell them but i didnt look at the price... sorry.

  • thx just wondering if i can find them anywhere. you helped alot thx. it was a random question anyway

  • niger uros go for about 135

  • Nice Uro. 5*

  • thanks! =]

  • Nice Uro man Spud looks awesome :D!

  • thanks bro! =]

  • now great vid and may I make one sugetion. I am no exspert but my cousion has one of these h\and it's like 8 or 9 years and I would like to suggest just sand it work's great for them bucse of where they come from. It's east for them to dig and such. Maby of you whant to or if you do do it at a older age when he could maby handle it in his stomach.Maby look it up just that's what my cousin has and I don't really know. Well great vid can't whait to see mre of him he's a awsome little guy.

  • thank you, im glad you liked the video! =] a lot of people use sand and i dont really have anything bad to say about it, i actually used to keep bearded dragons on sand but i like the substrate mixture im using now better only because it sticks together and can hold a burrow. when with sand they can dig in it but it doesnt really hold a borrow like my mixture does. but thanks anyway! =]

  • Lol he's cute!! Uro's are so cool looking! Looking forward to progress vids on handling, alot of people say they hate to be held but my friend's mali uro is really calm. 5*

  • thanks! ya i love them! hmm well we will find out soon enough! lol =]

  • looks like a 30 (Y)

    a 30 galon tank

  • cool thanks! =]

  • Nice vid Jeff .nice Mali 2

  • thanks! =]

  • I read that you can use bird seed for a great substarte? Would you consider that?

  • lots of people do use that as a substrate but in my opinion i think that is a very outdated way of keeping them. i think they should be in a substrate that they can dig and make burrows in, like they would in the wild. thats why i use the mixture that i talk about in the video description. =]

  • Remember, once he its 6 months, he needs atleast 125 gallon. With a 20 or 40 gallon it is impossible to have a basking spot of 130 and a cool side of 80. Uromastyx need ALOT of space. Good luck on your little guy!

  • yup thats no problem at all! i already have cages that size and bigger in storage. =]

  • congrats on your new baby

  • thanks Jason! =]

  • awesome uro man!!!!! spud is sooo cute!!!!! and lol it took my male saharan uro 3 months to acclimate!!!!!

  • thanks! oh wow thats a long time! lol how is he now? does he let you handle him? =]

  • he is great now!!! he is the nicest uro ever!!!!! he doesnt care about anything, he is like really chill!!!! he actually comes up tome when i put my hand in the enclosure. he is a puppy dog. check out my other vids where i hold him and you will see how tame he is!!!!

  • thats awesome! i hope Spud turns out to be like that! =D ya for sure ima check out your video right now! =]

  • awesome!!!! ya i hope he turns out like that!!!! thanks for checking out my videos!!!!
