The design is interresting, but not the engine position: i think , better is the design like the Windex 1200C: a small engine at the vertical fin (like a Wankel) and forward foldable propeller: not retract mechanism= no problems...simpler is better!

@Retrograyed Lol. Its a glider plane. Most of glider planes haven't own enegines. These one have,and it not needs towing by other plane or winch. And if the plane reach enough altitude,the pilot switch of the enegine,and close it into fuselage.And it can land whitout use the enegine. That's absolutely normal way of a glider plane,not emergency situation.
