currently working on this piece, and almost as fast as mr. li at the end. almost there...! can i say very, very like??!? theres a sense of a swift with his piece i can only pray for.
Shame that I'm the only middle schooler at my school that likes classical, and I'm serious about that. Now my friends are listening to dubstep crap. My God. Chopin will always be better than Pop or Rock. Chopin is just amazing.
@MeicoRaider Great to see a young fellah who appreciates the classics. This is great accoustic sound but if you really like Chopin , for interpretation Rubinstein has been and still is for me the tops, and the accoustics aren't bad either. Try'em, sure you won't be disappointed.
@MeicoRaider OMG you listen to classical music?! YOU'RE SO COOL!!! Jk, get real. Music is a preference, not a fact. If they like pop, dubstep, rap, or rock. So be it.
this piece is very difficult yet a challenging and magnificent one. from measures 29 to 37 the left hand chords are very long and I cant stretch all the way and it hurts when i try. any one have any other ideas? thanks
@fuman230 I dont think anyone's hands can stretch that far...
Personally (my hands cant even reach 9ths) I just either throw in something to an effect of glissando (or sneak through like Yundi did here) or cut some notes out altogether. But that part is slow so if your hands can physically reach, it's quite easy even if you have to stretch a bit.
no marco como "me gusta" porque me re re re requete gusta. Muy linda interpretación y él está más íntegro en esta entrega que en otras que realizó. Gracias a quien subió este vídeo.
the acoustics aren't exactly the nicest possible in this vid, but yundi seems to make up for all that and more...the greatest pianist in the world right here
i really don't like at 3:29 when he starts the "doppio movimento" without releasing the pedal messing up with the sound of the previous octaves...here it should starts another part of the melody rising up gently but clearly and clean

Too forte at the beginning and a little too fast at the end, but it's a good performance.
