I have a 1999 GSXR750 that will beat that ZX9 by about 5 bikes. Let's race. I beat modded liter bikes all the time. And yeah, you read that right, a 1999 model 749cc GSXR that beats the big bikes. Hell, I even beat a lightly modded busa too when I was on a bad tune still.
That shouldnt be any surprise really, in 2004 a 2000 zx9 wouldnt be that out dated, but compare that same zx9 to say a k7 750, i think the race would be closer, zx9 would still probably win stock to stock, but it wouldn't be a big margine

The owner of the zx9 should kick himself in the butt. There is no 750 that can keep up the a 900cc bike. This is a joke and for anyone who owns a 750 and thinks it can keep up with a 750 is stupid. I have a 07CBR1000 and a 02 ZX9 and the zx9 keeps up in a straight line. Yes it losses but like I said it does keep up. Keep in mind I am talking about stock bikes.
my brother has a 2006 r6 with gytr pipe and power commander and he beat a a hyabusa to 100 mph, he was right next to his friend that had a gsxr750 to and he beat a ninja 1000 just racing around, that was mostly rider skill tho.
The ZX9 should be a lot faster. I dont know many bikes but the 1000cc that are able to beat the zx9 (stock) I own and CBR1000RR and the ZX9 sticks with it. This race was a joke and the owner of the zx9 should be shamed.

yeah i agree, lol i'm not old enough to drive yet but i'm not stupid either haha, my dad has one and that thing is scary it's so fast, where i live theres basicly no bikes around town that could take his, but maybe the other bike was like fucking suped with nos haha sumthings up cause the zx-9 should been goonne!
guy on the zx doesn't know how to ride or messed up. I own a katana 750 myself but its obvious that the katana shouldn't of won.

the hp on those bikes are very close.... both are around 140 at the crank.. so yeah fair race.

FACT!... >>>> 2 of my friends had a race, GSXR750-K4(2004 model) & the other was a (2000 model) ZX-9R
they had 2 races(they both ride each bike)
& both of them WON 1 race each, out of the 2 races
& whoever had the Kawasaki @ the time won the race by far
GSXR is a nice bike but not to race against a ZX-9R, long or short run

i have a zx9 and i dont have a hard time eating gsxers for breakfast....
and sometimes.... if i'm lucky with a good take off.... i could beat an 02 or 04 gsxer.....

i dont know how old the suz is but new ones (2005/2006/2007) are faster than an standard zx9.
if you tune the zx9 is different:) just like mine
