I had mine out in August. The next day I went to Disney World. The worst part was that my pain medication ran out after a week and hurt for a month.

This made me laugh. I got mine out last Wednesday and so far I have achieved sleeping away 80% of my time since then. I've been laying in bed so much, I think I'm getting bed sores. But my most favorite part of all of course is - THE PAIN!!!!!!! Plus, I look like a chipmunk and I have school tomorrow.

I had my teeth removed on the 20th. I agree with all of this, except I forced myself to shower.

You probably now realise that the worst thing about having your wisdom teeth out is that no one warned you that funny people is an awful movie.

Anyone know why humans have wisdom teeth anyway if all they do is hurt and need to be removed?

Actually.....the excruciating pain and soup diet were the worst parts.

I'm pretty sure that wisdom teeth used to be necessary for prehistoric humans, back when they needed to grind through bone and whatnot. Like with the appendix, evolution will probably get rid of them eventually.

Actually a few studies have shown people with their appendix recover from certain diseases faster. This may mean the appendix does something - or that the people with their appendix are just healthier because they've been through 1 less surgery in their lives.
