  • Yeah rx7 s4/5 (fc) front calipers, fd calipers work too, need adaptor plate and usually use mini cooper rotors. I'm sure civic rotors can be used too iirc.

  • such humble people.

  • he's correct about s2000 lacking power on lower revs

  • @rushanz and that's the reason Honda made the F22C

  • Honda engine and Mazda brakes on a Toyota. Interesting.

  • "I have a loving family and a lover to take care of" LOL

  • lol why the fuck does keiichi have a fake hammer

  • i want his hammer. it's awesome.

  • GOod lord!! With that huge money i would have mortgage a house..

  • @red666A

1 yen isn't worth shit, so 4.4million aint that much.

  • @southeparkfreak

They do it by the hundreds.

    4.4 million yen = $60,000 US

You probably could mortgage a house.

  • wtf it got mazda brakes!

  • This is awesome, but 10 people obviously are retarded.

  • @NaziJewNikka HAHA YEAH!

  • 0:07 How long can he hold that cocky look on his face? lol

  • 10 people didn't deliver the tofu on time

  • Tsuchiya:

"You're scarying me. I do have a loving family and a lover to take care of you know". LOL is this really what he said?

  • Tsuchiya:

"You're scarying me. I do have a loving family and a lover to take care of you know". LOL is this really what he said?

  • lol I love how the guy is just laughing his head off because of how much it cost!

  • I think this swap makes alot of sense....If you think about how much it would cost to do a 20v 4age conversion in a Hachi, then factor in the cost of building that motor up to come close to the 250hp that a stock F20-F22 has.....I saw a Blacktop 4age engine that was SERIOUSLY modified and putting out 225hp for sale a while ago, they wanted $11,000 for it, and were losing money on the sale at that price!! The extra weight of the F20 is probably marginal, and would be offset by the extra torque.

  • HONDA POWER

  • Mazda brakes? Ew.

  • @alekkthewolf Mazda brakes are pretty good. They're not theb est, but they're not ew

  • you fucker. u put a s2000 motor in a hachi roku?!?1 wheres the 4age

  • +500

  • sometimes i watch these videos just to see the teeth, its like ripleys believe it or not

  • whose the guy at 1:17 ?? seen him too often in japanese videos..must b a fun car..

  • Tsuchiya, a man with gigantic balls.

  • No afence but dats fuked up a f20 in a toyota like come on f20s belong to s2k dats the whole point of the s2k beenin special other honda engines like k20,b18c n ect is ok

  • man i wish i can make that car like my 86

  • that is 16 000 $ us for the swap and 40 000 $ us for the complete car , that is expensive

  • @sporsterchop i know someone that did the swap for $4000CDN, he found a good deal on a crashed S2000

  • @nleboe I give props to that guy. What part of Canada anyway?

  • @neonnwave from Onterrible, but moved down to BC

  • @nleboe I'm in Quebec. I don't know how much an 86 or a used F20C will cost over here X(

  • HYBRID

  • i heart 86aes

  • thinking about putting this motor in my fd3s any thing I should be scared of b4 i try?

  • lol. got tired of the gay rotary eh?

  • haha yeah they they bitch alot plus i don't wanna worry about turbo rebuilds

  • Comment removed

  • it cost £297,560.57 wahhhh thats crazy

  • You're not right here.

That's 4,4 million yen. Convert it to pounds now... and you will get ~ 29 753 pounds.

  • @halethewhale are you kidding? not even close try 15K USd 20K max this is a very cheap build

  • this track is also in Need For Speed Shift. Ebisu West Course

  • that little car is badass!

  • wtf ur retarded ford is not japanese fag this is a Toyota AE86 Trueno Coupe with s2000 parts tht is sick

  • A s2000 engine with mazda brakes on a toyota chassis, wtf

  • FC3S brakes with civic rotors is a good upgrade in a AE86! Have them in my blacktop AE85/6 and they never fade out

  • is that all the parts we need? just civic rotors and fc calipers? and do the just simply bolt on?

  • ブレーキがMAZDA純正w

  • oh hellya i need suppen like that either !

  • Thats the diff getting ready to go up, AP1 diffs are shit...

  • turbo charge the 4age and get 600hp

  • Lol. This is BIG money. +gearbox +rear axle...

  • @martinnielsen52 4ag's aren't reliable at all in that horsepower range, a F20C could take it if built right and for less money.

  • @martinnielsen52 idk if a 4age can have tht much dude, i only seen a AE86 tht could generate tht much is with a Swapped 20b rotary engine and one with a RB26DETT

  • @martinnielsen52 name 1 600 hp 4a

  • @kpgoodwin83 type racezone starlet @ youtube

  • @martinnielsen52 so your comparing a fully fledged drag engine that ain't running pump fuel

  • @kpgoodwin83 the racezone starlet is running 99octan shell v-power. and most off the engine is stock

  • @martinnielsen52 don BS a BS'er got links?

  • @kpgoodwin83 sorry dont have a link at this time

  • the enigme is honda s2000, atmosferic

  • Is the f20c in this turbo or supercharged?

    Someone should supercharge it...

  • the f20c is n/a HiComp engine in ae86 is porsche GT3RS speed.if you wanna super charge it you have to lower the comp in orrder to get a good responde, you could get up 2 550Hp with nicly done engine..

  • Anyone ever put a Hayabusa engine in an 86?

  • Iv seen a hayabusa engine in a KP61 starlet and it was real quick, could still run in the 0-1300cc class we have over here too

  • ????

  • its naturally aspirated, and it would be even more beast engine if they added forced induction

  • No, N/A stands for Naturally Aspirated

  • there both the same stupid

  • Erm... NA is better because of the consistancy of the power that they have. Turbos are inconsistant and unreliable and their power band has too much variable depending on boost pressure, since most of the cars that are boosted are entirely dependant on boost for competive power.

Low boost high compression way to go.

  • your stupid

    n/a is naturally aspirated

you can put a turbo on an n/a motor but they generally run higher compression which means lower boost must be used

If your going to run a turbo on the track your best off lowering the compression, and running higher boost, with a compromise in low end driveability as on the track your in the upper rpm range anyway

  • thts wat i ment dumb ass

  • your the dumb ass

n/a is naturally aspirated, wtf is naturally assigned?? wtf was it assigned dipshit

and also, whats this crap about n/a cars catching turbos on the straights. I think you've been watching too much fast and the furious

Main advantage of N/A over boosted is the throttle response and as said above, consistent power. Also N/A motors can tend to last alot longer and be more reliable

If you think boost beats N/A down the straights then i think you need to think about v8's vs turbos

  • i just check moron last month you faggot

  • @TakumiFuji01 What are you talking about?

sorry bic boi me no speak engrish

  • and shut up you little whit boy

  • I'm not a v8 fan myself, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to power to weight ratio and thats what this f20c ae86 aims to achieve

  • and name 5 friends

  • @TakumiFuji01 fuckin initial D fanboys. fuck

  • no point has plenty of power like that.

  • Yeah, but it'd have more power

  • If your going to put a Honda engine in a Toyota car, you're not going to use the stock chassis or rear end anyways...

  • their japs bro... i think they would understand if a honda motor would put out a lil nicer then a nissan... atleast in a corolla... this is their ball park... i trust their judgment hah

  • i would like to do an sr20ve n1 swap in an 86 and do some mods to the engine, everone gives praise to motors like f20c and k20a but alot of people don't even know about the sr20ve-t and sr16ve motors.

  • hondas r jit wat a kook recked a mint car homo

  • hmm

since were all talking about outlandish swaps

    f20c in s13.

the s13 has a huge engine bay so it'll fit no problem just idk bout the tranny

also i'd pay 44K for this hachi roku

then i'd slap myself for doing it after looking at my bank account

  • @vietdude7 Best one I ever saw was an S13 with a VG30DET crammed in it.

  • thats a sexy car. i want one soooo bad.

  • had to be spoilt with the cheesy american commentator tho didn't it?

    i'd be happy with subs...

  • Ive always wanted something like this, only I was thinking bigger still, like a K24/K20 frank dropped into one of these lil hachis....

That would be a drifting monster IMO...

  • f20 is perfect set up. its a RWD platform in a RWD car. why put a FWD set in it? Unless your putting it in the back?? but still why that would be a waste.

  • I didnt say to put in the FWD tranny or to mount it in the back.

The F20c conversion used custom fabrication to work, so why not go one step further to get a K24/K20 setup in there?

Is the miniscule amount of extra fabrication(mounting the K to an F series tranny) too much work? I think not. Especially for something with even more low-end torque. Also note that F and K series are nearly identical, with K series having a little more displacement and a slightly more advanced VTEC.

  • DUDE THEY SPIN IN TWO TOTALLY DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS !!!! Do some research before you go around acting like you know what your talking about.

  • Ive seen a company that produced a working K swap into an S2000. And it was bored and stroked to a ridiculous 2.8L. Ill look around to see if I cant find the link, but it was a pretty obscure little company...

I dont know how much money they dropped into doing that, but I doubt its too much, considering what all was mentioned here.

Also, I already know that the K-series reversed the supposedly superior direction of the older model engines it replaced. Custom fabrication, OEM means sh17...

  • Hay i really appreciate it mate ! i didn't think it was possible but I'm glad cause the "K" was my preferred power plant cause of the HP potential the motor has so this changes ALL my planes(in a good way) THANKS AGAIN !! I've personally seen BIG (25+) p.s.i go through a stock motor and dreamed of going to town on one but was unsure about the reversed rotation thing my mate warned me about so thanks for giving me hope on this potential build...YOU RULE, OK LATER, research time !

  • NOT possible to swap a K motor to rwd all the fwd Honda engines have a reversed rotation compared to the f20c(the f20 and some v6's) which rotates in the proper direction for this swap... so if you wanna go in reverse really fast FWD Honda would work GREAT, but your gear box wont like you.LOL

  • you are thinking about D/B/H series motors K's spin the right way.

  • Dang... If I didn't have to cut the floor, I'd do it... I'd want to be able to go back to stock for it's race class its in now...

  • you don't have to anymore there are mounting kits that take away that pain

  • Mounting kit? Every one I've seen has to cut out the trans tunnel to fit the Honda trans.. A mounting kit isn't going to change that. As to mounting kits in general, that's no biggie and I've done that a number of times already.... I just don't want to cut my chassis so I can return it to stock configuration if desired.

  • Well my friend has one and he hasn't had to cut anything I'm only repeating what I've been told.

But if want to be safer than sorry then you need to do what's best for you. Good luck in your efforts in the future :D

  • i dont know if any1 else has noticed doesnt the narrator sound like one of the guys on the iron chef?

  • He is, it's an American company that has publishing rights/ does all the international option videos and iron chef series from Japan.

  • WOW!!!

  • If you know what you're doing, this swap would be probably like 15000$.

Honda Tuning Magazine featured one like this (it was a drift car). The only major modification to the body was they had to cut the floor pans so the Tranny could fit.

This is my dream car, and I would have one before any other car in the world.

  • Father in law is giving me one. Never know man might get lucky like me.

  • the other one got black also

  • Which BMI vol is this from?

  • i love the rubber hammer LOL

  • car - awesome.

    engine - fabulous.

the gearbox sound? totaly superduper awesomefabulous... i really luv hear it. wish i have it one.

  • build one.

how he got that engine in there is amazing that engine bay is very tight

  • flippin sweet

  • $21,000+ for the swap? Don't bother wasting your money.

  • Yeah... Id just get the s2000 and drop all the weight all of it... and then i wouldnt need any balance adjustment cause the car is built for the engine...

  • what fun is that, havin a car thats just like the others

  • Do it yourself.. I figure about $6k.... Thinking of doing it, already have a nice full race AE86, and found a donor honda for $4k....

  • Is this the way Japanese really act? Why are they all dressed funny; except the normal nip?

  • its a joke dude but whats different to you might be normal to other people. p.s. i live in japan

  • shouldn't this be named FE86?

  • It should be called FC86. haha.

  • should call....AEs200086

  • how is it FC86? its an F block engine with the same E chassis, and the 86 is from the chassis code. why do you think its called the AE86? because of the A block engine (4age) E chassis and 86 from the chassis.

  • 86 is not the car year?

  • A as in A family engine

    E as in corolla

    8 as in 8th generation

    6 as in 6th version

    so itd be fe86

  • BEST HACHI ROKU EVER !!!!

A coupe with a Honda engine = Best thing ever built !!

  • The ハチロク coupe is nice, it looks very balanced, especially with the wing.

But, I also like the hatchback, even though its less efficient, it looks cool.

Put on a body kit from uras.

    Even more cool.

How much does it cost to import from Japan to California?

Extra fees for registration, any changes in parts?

  • Does it have helical cut gears???

  • they made several 'brand new' for the live-action Initial D movie a few years ago...

  • I can see it now, the chassis code being AE2000

  • That's why I like about Japanese people. They're very respectful in points of view.

  • Vtec is creepy ..lol

  • well i think theyre actually making a new sprinter...coz i saw a couple of pics and rumors before...

  • toyota/subaru will be releasing a rwd car with a boxer engine in 2011.

  • no man, its not possible for the company to make Hachiroku's again. But Tsuchiya-san still has hope

  • "A modern Hachi-Roku. I like the idea."

If Keiichi says it then why not? Cmon Toyota!!!

  • LOL @ this car changed my view of life

  • did i just see mazda brakes on it? I <3 the s2000 cluster!

  • and 1.8 million yen is how many $

  • Around 17647.06 USD.

  • damn.

  • what's this noise man? its creppy

    ahahah

    VTEC!!!

  • the noise was the driveshaft..not vtec. these guys arent stupid lol!! they know wat vtec sounds like when it kicks in.

  • what's this noise man? its creppy

    ahahah

    VTEC!!!

  • LOL ichishima san from spoon... that's hilarious

  • awesome vid =] i want it!

  • I believe it's the Best Motoring International Vol.5 or 6/ it's the one with VTEC battle 10000rpm Cover. I believe it only comes in VHS thou. It's kinda old... so go figure

  • Havent balanced the driveshaft? EPIC FAIL!!!

  • i love those toys they have lol the hand and the hammer

  • Now how about a NA Miata with that S2000 engine? HAHA too much to ask for, it would be too good!

  • a few ppl have done it already. its pretty cool

  • Yeah, but for sure this is the first

  • toyota's body, honda's engine, mazda's brake. wow! a mixed that kills! :D

  • everyone needs something honda on their car xD

  • most cars that use something honda in them loose to other cars that dont have any honda in them ;)

  • why dont they make a 2zzge 20-valve engine??

  • 4.4mil yen is about 37k USD right? That's soo much money involved man. Fast as hell though.

  • that price is unrealistic. for that price you could buy 2 s2ks and a ae86

  • exactly!

  • toyota honda

  • its not bad,but still i stick to my senses,i keeep it original but haey it looks pretty clean on putting in a s2000 engine.

  • GODDAMIT TO FUCKING HELL!!!! and i thought i was thinking of something brilliant when i thought of this swap. Damn best motoring beat me to it.

  • hahah it has mazda brakes calipers...lol

  • because its almost twice as powerful and weighs nearly the same, and doesnt mess up the the hachi's legendary balance and handling. Why else?

  • typo, i meant to say its OVER twice as powerful

  • ya i know that, but still doing that kinda deprides the toyota, i mean ur driving a toyota, but its really a honda, thats kinda gay and stupid. I would swap out the engine for something else that is from toyota but this puts the toyota to shame, having to put a honda engine in a toyota.

  • i dont see why it puts the toyota to shame, inter-manufacturer swaps are pretty common nowadays. if they stuck some gm truck motor or something in there, then i could see it being bad. besides, what other toyota motor could match an f20c?

  • well in stock form of cousre nothing, but u could get the 2zzge from the celica and do little mods to it, it would be just as good if not better, i know that they put the 2zz in the lotus exige gt3 and makes 270hp,but its s/c, but that would be a good alternative, dont u think. or u could try to somehow cramed the 2jzgte in it, but that might not be a good idea.

  • i doubt a 2jz would be a good plan, even if it fit, the vehicle dynamics that the hachi is legendary for would be screwed up. they actually tried fitting it with a 3sgte (not these guys, but someone else) but it didnt do too well in the races and the project was abandoned.

  • ya iam pretty sure, its a powerful engine, but its big and heavy and definitly kills the balance of the car.

  • yep.

  • why should it kill the balance? 'cause of 400cc more? the engine-block & head of the f20c is made of aluminium, afaik. while the engine from an ae86 has a block, made of cast iron and an aluminium-head... so the engine should be even lighter. it's just the transmission which is a bit bigger and has 1 gear more. in the end i think the engine is about as much lighter as the gearbox is heavier...

  • not the f20c that would kill the balance but the 2jz.
