The whalers are pretending it's scientific purposes so they can continue to break a law that's been in place since 1986. Japan is not a poor country anymore! They needn't hunt whales! Japan is always operating behind some kind of deception, just like Pearl Harbour. Before 1986 they killed 2000 whales yearly. "Commercial" whaling was banned and made illegal in 1986. Today, the Japs kill 900+ per year for "scientific purposes". Before 1986, the Japs killed 200 per year for scientific purposes.

all you people here, are just good for posting comments and how much u dislike whales being killed, but how many of you are actually out there trying to save them? that's what I thought NONE!!! Save the whales, dont buy Japanese products, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Honda, Subaru, Suzuki, Mazda, Daihatsu, Isuzu, Sony ,Yamaha, Kawasaki..stop buying there products, and they will not be able to afford to kill whales
