Holy cow! Al Franken plays drums?!?

All kidding aside, I saw Matt Wilson give a clinic at PASIC last year. It was refreshing to hear his philosophies about drumming and music in general. He's a very forward thinking musician, and a killer player!

He did a drumset solo arrangement of "Body and Soul," and it was unbelievably gorgeous.

What a laid back sound this group has. I took a workshop with you Matt at the Jazz school in Berkeley about a year ago, you're the man! How do you get such a nice in the pocket laid back feel when you play? What do you think about while you're playing?

it was so good to see you still have the same interplay and soft skilfull kind of playing.I will never forget first time i saw you in faro,Portugal.maybe you don't remember.What a great concert!And my friend's Genista drum set seemed like having a new life after your unbelievable tunig technic!I've seen it all.Look forward to have you back in Portugal.Joao Galante.
