Teacup dogs are popular today because of their interesting size at maturity; thus, they are commonly bred as they sell very quickly. However, as these dogs are prone to many health issues, there are risks for buyers who do not use reputable breeders that do genetic health testing and breed their dogs by the breed standard.

they're precious. So are the 4 million dogs in the United States who are euthanized each year due to breeders, failure to spay and neuter, and other irresponsible behaviors. I hope that you and other breeders can develop other income sources so that this massive, enormous problem that occupies my time and the time of countless other selfless individuals who work tirelessly to place dogs in homes and witness thousands of dogs being put to sleep on a daily basis will be eliminated. Happy holidays
Ok this is my other channel so there is really NO reason to be stuck up to each other on my video so yea get alife and i really dont care if u havea yorkie and oh yea i had a teacup yorkie so they do exsist so shut up and get a life
My dad's friend's dog is having some of these puppies and we're going to get one for free! I can't wait, although it'll take some months, you know. : )
@snazzygirl208 People who know that there is no such thing as a "teacup" breed. They're normal Yorkshire Terriers, but just prematurely born(most of the time it's on purpose). They more often than not have LARGE health problems and very fragile bones, and don't live for more than a few months to a few years.
@snazzygirl208 Lol really? Caps? If you want people to think you're an intelligent being, at least keep half of the comment to lowercase. xD And judging from this you're probably 11? 12? 13? Please do more research on the "teacup" breed before you make a fool of yourself. I said " and don't live for more than a few months to a FEW YEARS". continued....
@snazzygirl208 8? That's even worse. xD What the heck are you even doing on the internet chatting with complete strangers for? It's dangerous, and no one takes you seriously. I could be a 40 year old man trying to stalk and rape you, and you wouldn't know better. Anyways, about the puppies: A normal and healthy Yorkie can live 12-15 years, and the teacups... well, google "teacup breeds" and click the first one.
@snazzygirl208 This'll tell you you need to be atleast 13 to have an account on Youtube while FOLLOWING the rules and being safe from an account ban. It's fine if you look at videos here, but having an account at 8 is a nono. Having one at 5 is also a BIG nono. It's not me deciding for you, it's the Youtube creators. You literally aren't allowed to have an account until you're 13.
@snazzygirl208 Weird it's not letting me link stuff. Oh well, if you look up "age restrictions" on the Youtube faq, you'll see. I doubt you would anyway since you're too busy typoing unintelligent comebacks.
@snazzygirl208 There's always an oddoneout that will defy science and genetics and live the full life expectancy, but teacups generally won't live past a few years, they just have too many health problems. They are prematurely born puppies(which means forcibly or accidentally born before they were done growing in the womb). They also could be the runt of a littler of normal puppies, which also has more health problems. Please do more research before commenting to someone in that immature manner.
@CrazyCritters7 Yes there is such thing. They are not runts. You my friend, are a cunt. They barely have health problems. I will continue to support them. Screw you.
@Pjor1cp Yorkies come in one freaking size, and teacup isn't one of them. So, I guess you're a supported of puppy mills and back yard breeders then too huh? That's where they come from. Read this. bark rescue .net/teacup. htm (remove the spaces)
Cute but by supporting sellers of teacup animals you also support the ideology of incest in any and all its forms. Yes incest is what makes these dogs small. Ok now go back and make love to your mom and dad since you like it so much.
I would be jealous, but I have a teacup Yorkie male. He's about three pounds, no more by the weight of him in my hand. Anybody who is considering a Yorkie, or a teacup yorkie, lemme warn you, they are hard to housebreak, at least in my experience and from what I've heard. Mine is a year and three months old, and he still does number two in the house before I get up in the morning.
@rawringsolo - PLEASE rescue. If you MUST buy a dog to reflect "you" please neuter or spay it immediately, treat it well, do not ever abandon it at the pound, and ensure that it does not become one of the 4 million dogs killed each year due solely to ignorance.
No such breed.

@bruised Yes there is. People breed them to be tiny. Its sad. They live for 1 to 2 years.
