  • :30-:34 badass subs

  • I was in a 7.0 earthquake in Seattle when I was 2. My mom was brushing my teeth and then all of a sudden everything started shaking. She says, she ran me downstairs and by that time it was over. The odd part is that not one single thing fell in our house, there was also not even the slightest bit of damage..

  • i'm in middle school hopeley that won't happen if it does i'll hold on to my friend carmen, lauren, alyssa, and jordan if theres a earthquake OMG thats soo sad :(

  • wasnt the teacher talking about earthquakes at the time

  • 0:31 Steve Meade was there, there was no earthquake...

  • some one ate to many beans

  • Haha these assholes don't know what duck and cover means

  • 0:45 messed up did you help the poor baby?!?!?!?!

  • i live in indiana and plan on staying here fuck that earthquake bullshit

  • @RoseIsRee lol, look up 1968 Illinois earthquake. My mom was born and raised in Indiana and felt that quake while growing up there.

I'm born and raised in Oklahoma and felt a 5.6 quake last week that was pretty powerful and two other 4.7 quakes that shook some stuff. I'm starting to think there's nowhere you can go to escape earthquakes on Earth.

  • @than217 yes there is :) Madeira island is where i am and never felt an earthquake :D

  • @than217 jamaica has hundreds of tremors each year and i never felt one before

  • @RoseIsRee California is a great place to live but everywhere you go there will be disaters

  • @RoseIsRee

what about tornadoes.. I too am from indiana.

  • OCCUPY SHAKING

  • UC SANTA QUAKES

  • the baby gets 10 points......

  • LOL!!!

  • in these video footages the baby @ 0:47 was the cleverest specimen for human response lol give that little muthafuka a medal haha

  • @MrFuckWhatYouSay In California, everyone is taught since birth that when you are in an earthquake you m'fkn Drop, Cover, and Hold on! The baby was the only one in the video who was doing it the right way. The UCSC students are doing it wrong and must be stoned. You aren't suppose to run and bottleneck the doorway or stand there while the lights are falling down. I was in school during an earthquake and everyone sat there until it was all over then all the asians fled so fast out of the building

  • @MrFuckWhatYouSay fuck i was gonna write about the baby taking cover

  • I REMEMBER THIS DAY. I FELT IT A LITTLE BIT. I WAS 80 MILES AWAY.

  • O.M.G.!

  • 0:45, wtf is he doing??

  • that was a smart baby knowing to take cover under something nearby.

  • @swampzoid That's terrible!!! But i still LMAO!!!

  • omg

  • oh shit!!!

  • slugs

  • press 7 for ninja

  • As far back as 1989 the government did not have the ability to make man made earthquakes but there is now a technology to enable them to do so. It is called , just from its couple of years in control it has been exposed quite a bit. Unfortunately caused the Japan Tsunami in March 2011 and the other machine for the whole of Europe will be up on October 21st. Illuminati is very real, if you dont believe me then just search

  • Thats Scary i would of been crying and calling my mommy!

  • This is what you get for teaching Latin Studies instead of Calculus.

  • WTF??? The Baby!?

  • oh shit! we had a apetizer in md they had the main course

  • omg did anyone see the girl fall and get hit by the light thing i hope she lived it was in 0:17

  • I remember that big ass quake... Scary shit, I remember watching the cement lifting up on different spots and under my feet in my backyard, then I hear something exploding and making loud electric sounds somewhere, everyone came outside to the front of there house, people running frantic, some even naked LOL

  • I can't even imagine the way it feels like...seeing everything around you going down and the soil underneath your feet just shaking as crazy. 0_0 we don't have these things where I live.

  • I was 7 and watching the base ball game when it happened. I was in valley springs ca next to the san andreas mountians and didnt feel a thing ha ha

  • wow the babie got hit by a car

  • 0:45 omg!!

  • So please stop complaining about your pussy little earthquake, East Coast.

  • @mehtaalihkuh Well for your information, we are not use to earthquakes. Yes people over here overreacted but you cannot blame them. It was a very different experience for us unlike for you guys.

  • WOW not to be mean or anything but... california has to be more prepared then. wait no... USA should be prepared for big earthquakes.. I live in Japan and experienced the 9.0 (I lived in japan most of my life and haven't felt a very big one but now I did lol) and only a few things got damaged in tokyo and in sendai or miyagi prefecture, excluding the tsunami many things were still intact. even the damaged things in sendai are already fixed within 2 1/2 months. so be careful folks!

  • @sakuramiyakawa watch?v=C38wRx2OcVo&feature=BFa&list=FLcL1qYkDrx5Is19CzlFVj0w

  • Earthquakes terrify me and I pray that I'll never be in one):

  • earthquakes make toy cars run over babies?

  • @david254 guess so LOL

  • 0:00 to 0:09 sounds like a voice over for a horror movie.

  • @SuperCaligirl92: Easy to say now, until you are in one that big. When things start falling and you have no cover, what should you do? Stand there like an idiot!?

  • I'm from california and running during an earthquake isn't that smart, unless you're heading for cover.

  • I'm from Houston where's there's no earthquakes. So, if there's a earthquake, r u actually supposed to run??

  • @TDseriesfancamp Ive wondered that too im from texas so idk :o

  • Why were they videotaping their kid under a toy car?

  • Fuck, now i've gotta search for ThisIsDream's comment

  • @SpadeAce90 don'tcha hate it when that happens!

  • @SpadeAce90 He deleted his account or got his account deleted but from my inbox I found it when I got the notification for it. He said:

"as we can see from the video, japan has super anti earthquake building compare to any parts of the world. the M9 earthquake shake was like 5 mins yet no building and light bulb fall down."

  • @than217 Have you ever thought that there's a chance that there was no earthquake. Even the weakest of the structures went undamaged until the tsunami rolled in, even in the cities that were closest to the "epicentre" Surely they should have felt at least 8.5M+ in Sendai, only like 100km from the epicentre. Yet no earthquake damage in any videos. It's called a tsunami bomb. Look it up.

  • The ending seems kinda scary

  • this scared the crap out of me o.o

  • are most of these comments about the baby under the toy car?? XD

  • That baby was like "So y'all just gon' leave me under this car?"

  • lmao baby got run over a car

  • Why was there a baby under the little car? o_O

  • You know you'd shit yourself :D

  • Aw poor baby at the end :(

  • Holy crap

  • UNIVSERITY COLLEGE NIGHTMARES TO STARTLED EARTHQUAKE!

  • WANT THAT VOICE OVER

  • Get under a desk? There is no "under" the desks in college. And were you paying attention? The lights were falling! I was ten years old and living in Santa Cruz when that earthquake hit...and I will tell you that this video doesn't reflect even half the violence of that thing. I will also tell you that if you're ever in an earthquake like that and you have a way out of the building, you get OUT. Granted, the buildings in SC at that time were super old and crumbled like sugar, but still...GTFO.

  • @killer7035 what would you doo

  • Most visible ever? Thats the 90s for ya. Theres only like 7 angles. If this happened today there would be thousands of videos.

  • arnt students suppost to get under thetable not run outside of the class

  • Man in the store he shoulda done this oh Shit a earthquake take everything you can

  • I live in California we get some big earthquakes but it's not really that freaky and nothing every breaks

  • WAIT WHA.....WERE HAVING AN EARTHQUA...*static*

  • بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake And the earth discharges its burdens And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - That Day, it will report its news Because your Lord has commanded it. That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. صدق الله العظيم
  • Praise the cameraman.

  • aw man i wanted to see the baseball player's reaction. dumb camera

  • OH NO! Save the alcohol!!

  • Commander Benjamin Sisko doing the commentary?

  • and here's where California stops looking tempting...

  • @AllyMarton never that!!! There is nothing like California!!! I mean, who couldn't dream of a better lifestyle, earthquakes is part of the package!! Anywhere else would be suicide anyway!! LOL!! However, from an outside looking in point of view, I can see what you mean, If it wasn't such a stupid statement I would almost tell you that it's worthed...

  • @moonioo XD No no, I'm sure your right. I've grown up in the Northern states my whole life, and the thought of the earth moving and there's really no way to avoid it, how it can shake things that normally would be stable, it's just a scary thought. But I've grown up with tornadoes my whole life, and I actually kinda like them, but I know they freak others out who haven't had to deal with them. So, in essence, it's just my naivity talking bad about California. XD

  • Shit! I was in the Gym when the Christchurch earthquake hit....:'(

  • wath happen the babe sombody knows?

  • Kids in class at the beginning "fuck this shit".

  • Smart baby :P

  • LMFAO Favorited for 0:44.

  • when at the gym only one person ran to the open doors.. it looked like everyone else went to the hallway....

  • The ref in the gymnasium knew to get the F*** outa there!!! But had to climb down on that ladder :D

  • Yes, I agree with the last two responses! I get tired of hearing how "much better" other countries do compared to California, esp. when you cannot compare individual quakes. The Kobe earthquake in Japan killed over 6000 people and destroyed a lot of the city. That was 7.2 directly under the city. The Loma Prieta quake above ony killed like 67 and was 6.9, and the was within 20 miles of San Jose and Santa Cruz. You cannot just go by magnitude, but by distance, depth of quake, type of ground, etc!

  • hahaha i feel bad for the little kid that got squashed

  • captain sisko!

  • DAMN!!!!! Even the baby @0:46 knew what to do.

  • dont they know ot to run... lol the baby hiding under the car .. the glass looks aswome

  • i like how the kids dont go under the table like they r supposed to! LOL

  • LOL@ the baby trying to get under the little red car

  • ok class our subject today is EARTHQUAKE!!!!! FUUUUU!

  • I agree with Seth5220 on Cali ... it has been way past due for there time to pay the fine of destruction sorry it has time happend its destiny lol

  • 0:15 - priceless. Look at them all scramble for the door. U can almost hear them breathe the words "oh shit"

  • Its going to happen today - Bay area, Get ready. A 7.5 is comming your way...

  • Cali is way past due for a 7.0 or greater

  • I think the voice-over is Avery Brooks.

  • Any day there due for a 7.0+

  • i wasnt born then but no one in my family was there so thank the lord

  • I was working at ucsc that day it sticks with me till this day

  • Where is Geoffrey Goose?

  • Thats scary...Does everything just fall so fast like in the classroom part of the video?

  • LoL Dont Panicccc!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • okay. when i was in school, i was taught to go underneath my desk in an event of an earthquake. why were students running out? just saying...

  • @NatShizzle Probably because you panic during an earthquake?

  • Comment removed

  • @NatShizzle Because it is a lot more safer to be outside in the open.

  • The Algerian buildings are the most resistent of all; they are built by our super gentle generals, God bless them all.

  • What not to do: run for your life when shit is falling from the ceiling...you may just kill yourself and everyone else behind you trying to jump over your ass.

  • US Americans definitely dont know how to react when an earthquake occurs. Compare their reaction with Japaneses or Chileans

  • someone in that class divided by zero

  • @helloanygoodbye, stop trying to get thumbs up. Im pretty sure that most people here are watching because of the Japan tsunami and earthquake.

  • It's interesting to watch these (diminutive lol), but I don't quite understand those people who say the clips are 'fake'. Why don't you come over to Japan and try it for real? We had 2 tremors at magnitude 6.3 in Tokyo today.

  • LOL!

  • Never happend, pure fake.

  • @netkongen lol

  • Comment removed

  • creepy

  • was the baby under the car before the earthquake hit? or during?

  • fake and gay.

  • @TheYoungTurds1 real and straight.

  • @TheYoungTurds1 Fake?? Are you seious?? 150 people DIED in this quake!!! The streets in Gilroy, California moved like they were liquid in wavy movements. I have a picture of the giant crack in the living room wall ( In 2011 it's repaired now), BUT STILL!!!! SERIOUSLY????

  • sheez what about this bitch speaking at the begining?

  • @metali10 hahahahaha :D

  • oh crap onj the 29 i'll be in hollywood so will prolly died on one the the building

  • as we can see from the video, japan has super anti earthquake building compare to any parts of the world. the M9 earthquake shake was like 5 mins yet no building and light bulb fall down.

  • @ThisIsDream Japan is a lot more earthquake prepared though.

  • @than217 My friend thinks Japan isn't real...

  • @ThisIsDream uhm, this is also 1989-the japan one happened over two decades after this.

  • @ThisIsDream ok

  • @ThisIsDream actually, you didnt really see a video with the 9.0 shaking in Japan what you did see was shaking as far away as Tokyo with was almost 300 miles away from the epicenter and only had magnitude 5 or 6 shaking so u wouldnt see the acutal magnitude 9.0 shaking or wat it looked like. areas near the 9.0 were wiped out by tsunami so there arent videos of 9 shaking. ive seen pretty much all the vides and theres no 9.0 vids.

  • @maineysanjose I agree. I remember the day when I just came back home from school and I was about to leave again for a doctor's appo. and then all of a sudden the 9.0 happened and tokyo shook like crazy. X_X I think THAT was more visible than this one.. it was also felt in okinawa too i think o.o; but yeah i'm glad Japan has all those pre earthquake alarms and stuff T_T please be careful too even if you don't have quakes in your area

  • @maineysanjose In tokyo it was probably 6.5 or above wouldn't it??? because I saw somevideos of the buildings swaying

  • @bobzzz23 actually I think it was only 震度5強 (shindo 5+) which is around magnitude 5.1-5.6. I think I remember on the news they said Tokyo was magnitude 5.6.. well where I was living anyway. I live in north east of tokyo so i guess central tokyo was about 5.5 or so..

  • @sakuramiyakawa Seriusly? Wow well I live near where the 5.9 on the east coast it was scary!

  • @bobzzz23 really? omg i hope you are okay T_T yeah I understand how you feel especially if you are not used to it.. Stay safe!! another big one might happen at any minute T__T

  • @sakuramiyakawa yea my dog went CRAZY! there isthe new madrid fault it is about 850 miles away but our type of rock rock is diffrent so we would also feel it. But im ready for another one! dive under a table or get in a door way. And the 5.9 was felt in canada to show how far it went

  • @bobzzz23 really?? so you had received a warning from your dog ;) yayy! aha wow that's far O.O man so I guess it also depends on the land then not just the magnitude... T_T good idea! and if you ever have a terrible headache and someone else too has one, be careful, might be a sign of a quake ^^ aha but you don't live by many tall buildings right? so it should be safeish ^^ i hope

  • @sakuramiyakawa No but Right next to a lake and a bunch of trees. the lake was moving after the quake too. and recently my dog has been acting weird and it smells outside. but I'm not to scared it was sorta of scary at the same time it was cool! but if a big one were to happen it's natural. The thing that makes me mad is some people in Countries where Earthquakes happen like every week downgraded this so much! It's almost a 6! thats a strong quake!

  • @bobzzz23 woaahhh but i think trees are safe to be by during an earthquake right? o.O;; or maybe not lol eh really? how did it smell like? sulfur or something? aha I understand ^^ it is quite cool. ah yes I understand.. it's just like people in Japan or Indonesia or Chile, we are just like... "an earthquake.. sweet" and it's like a magnitude 1000000000 but like when we see others and people getting scared of an earthquake, it's quite interesting to us.. o.O; if that makes sense.

  • @bobzzz23 but yeah I understand about the people who say a magnitude 6 is a small quake o.O but then again it also depends on the depth I think lol but yeah just ignore 'em and if i'm one of them sorrryyy T_T

  • @sakuramiyakawa Yeah understand but were like "EARTHQUAKE? EARTHQUAKE? EARRRRTHQUAKE!!!!" and our building have diffrent building codes so near the epicenter some houses like jumped a foot from their foundations.

  • @maineysanjose No videos of the earthquake in progress. No earthquake damage, even closest to the epicentre; not even to the weakest of structures. A nuclear reactor that just blew up even though it'd been powered down for weeks.

It's called a tsunami bomb and nuclear sabotage.

  • @ThisIsDream

The M9 earthquake hit in the ocean. If the epicenter had been on land than you better believe that some building would have crumbled. It was a M9 earthquake but the epicenter was the in the ocean that is why the tsunamis wiped out the places close to the epicenter but it would have been much worse had the epicenter been on land.
