god it must be expensive operating that 206 for traffic enforcement. I've had a good look at it, nicely outfitted too. A 172 would work just as well at half the cost for this purpose.
@Bristow42 Tell that to the families that lost loved ones due to speeding.A few mph/kph over the limit isnt the point of such prosecutions, its sending a message to the brainless idiots that ignore road/traffic conditions and are well over any posted limit.
@Chubcatcher A few km/mph is not going to stop an idiot because he is an idiot. Threat and fear tacts don't stop people from speeding anymore that jay walkers. And the cops and the government know it. Don't smoke its bad for you. Its the drunk, drugged and tied drivers. That do most of the killing on the roads. If they were serious about speeding the government would make car factories make slower cars.
Lol I agree with the crack down on exessive speed, but anyone cud defend this. it is embarassing to see the vehicle pass a hashmark... with an eye in the sky.lol and then try and stop a watch at the time it cross the other. Do u see the prblem a little error with a stop watch could cause a difference in speed with the stop/start.. and if so why are they not averaging out over several has marks... again over human error stop/start of the watch
@canuckguy7777 OPP can't win this case in court though because they have no tangible evidence. So, the same red car with black roof will be on the road again, driving even more aggressively knowing that the prosecution is not for him/her.
If this cop seen a group of aboriginal terrorists knocking down a hydro tower "would he report it"? No likely, as the OPP are afraid of Canadas native people.
Actually, why wouldn't they be afraid. The last time they dealt with it at Ipperwash their member was charged and convicted. I doubt very much that you or others who think like you, will be there demanding that the politicians and the judiciary back up the police when they do what they're supposed to do. Ken Deane was left to hang out and dry. Why would any other officer risk his career or his freedom knowing that no one supports him?
Hi OPPgreg - I am not familiar with what you are saying. All I know is that the OPP force has done a terrible job controlling aboriginal terrorists in Ontario for almost three years. I do not blame the police, it's the Fantino and McGuinty team that is screwing up the works. I once liked Fantino when he was the top cop in Toronto, for clamping down on Jamaican gangs. But now,... He's nothing but a puppet. It is sad to see him go out this way.
@Normalman50 What terrorists are you talking about? Do you have a grow-up in your basement? I'll check your electricity bills -- that's a sure sign you have a grow-up! Arrest him!!!

Eliminate the speed limits, save money on the planes and fuel. It is the slow drivers who cause the accidents, not the fast drivers.

The aboriginals shouldn't even be under provincial policing. When dealing with big matters it should be left to the RCMP or the military.
christianblogger 2 years ago
@christianblogger they are policed by the RCMP..everywhere other then in ontario and quebec.

@christianblogger If you live in Ontario, then it's OPP. And everybody is equal in the eyes of the law, aboriginal or not.

@christianblogger Administration of Justice is a provincial jurisdiction. Get that through your head.
