@marjan996 the first few albums like Haunting the Chapel and Show no Mercy is most def thrashy. But every thing after that is more old school death/ black metal. That is up until Divine Intervention, where they went full on Death metal. Are you really gonna say that Diabolus in Musica and every thing after that is thrash? Slayer began with a thrash/death metal tone and ended up straight death metal.

I am kind of surprised when Dave said..Merchandising is the primary source of revenue. I know he mentioned Tours as well. But I was really surprised to know that merchandising can be as impact full like tours. It might be true for some gay ass bands like emo and pop etc...but for a heavy metal band like Slayer wow!

I agree with him 100% on the playing intensity while practicing. When I'm playing in front of people, I'll rock out and play like I'm trying to put on a show. When I'm practicing, I'll play a lot quieter, which lets me hear what I'm doing a lot better, so I can improve on my accuracy and make better use of dynamics, as well as focus on the creativity of my playing.
