Defining New York for nearly 30 years, they became a cultural icon, featured in dozens of movies, television shows, and pictures. Even video games featured the twin towers. The World Trade Center had the tallest twin towers in the world (by total number of floors, and roof) by a LOT. America is the ONLY country who had the technology, financing, and ambition to build such icons, and THAT'S why they were a terrorist target. True AMERICANS WANT them rebuilt the way they were, TERRORISTS don't!!!

Also it is impossible that charges were placed at the bottom of the buildings to also bring them down. People were Under the building when it came down, some didn't die. Example: the brave men of ladder 1. They survived.

@ChidAndBick The planes went deep enough into the building where when they caught fire, the non-fireproofed support beems weekened enough for it to incave. The fire proofed ones were put under enough stress for the buildings to collapse.

i dont understand why you would put two or three buildings right beside the freedom tower that are almost as big. The freedom tower is supposed to stick out and dominate the skyline but when they get finished itll just be a little bit taller than the other two buildings beside it.
