Why would you post names of rivers you fish? You must like fishing around crowds. By the way great vid you have some beautiful steelhead there. good luck this fall, ive found it to be a good season so far.
So i saw that you were using a center pin. How to you rig that? Do you drift egg sacs, beads or something else? I just got a center pin and i am curious what othere anglers are using to catch them. I fish lake ontario tributaries also, but in ny. So if you could tell me how your catching these big guys. :)
We used to fish all the tributaries many years ago (strictly catch and release) before all the sanctuary boundries and seasons were modified ... and caught millions of steelies ,, cant do the hiking anymore ... I often wonder these days what the guys want??? to catch some fish or the challenge of making them hit something they dont want???
If you want to catch them ,, drop a squirming worm at the top end of the hole ,, by the time it drifts half way in it should be hit.. single eggs good too.
@Alonelyzealot I think you just been unlucky, one day you'll get 9 out 13 fish you hook, the next you'll get none. Pretty common with Steelies, I tend to fish a run for a while because steelhead get "annoyed" and they strike.

Do they actually bite or do you floss them? i seem to be having trouble catching, i go to credit valley river and i use the same technique
