Really girl, whoever is riding this horse is not a very good rider. The reason your horse is spooking from the jump is bc ur not bringing him 2 the center u are trying 2 jump him over the highest piece of the jump. Which is VERY wrong. Get a trainer.

if you did canter to the first jump and he spooked you would be completely thrown off balance and would have probably fallen off so you were right to stay in trot.

cantering a young horse to a fence is mad ,she did the right thing trotting him ,they run out more if in canter ,and loads of horses are spooky they soon learn not to be when they are desensatised to life xx i think you rode fab , i have a 16.3hh x race horse and hes very spooky hahaha and i just go with it like you then carry on well done

And the other 3 are my Morgans Zoey, Sarah and Lilly! Other wise AMAZING riding if one of my horses got scared like that I wouldve never been able to stay on! Great job!

Well ridden, a bunch of riders I know don't have the confidence to jump over one foot, and I know even more riders who wouldn't even look at the jumps again that day after their horse would spook! You were really good, confident riders go really far really fast.

Awesome job for staying on! The only thing is, your heels have slipped up and the stirrup has started to slide back, which can be very dangerous. Put your weight into your heels instead of pinching with your knees and you'll be good to go :)

i hate it when a horse spooks because sometimes they bolt and refuse to stop and your holding on and your trying to think about what you should do? to me its scary stuff!

Awesome job for staying on! The only thing is, your heels have slipped up and the stirrup has started to slide back, which can be very dangerous. Put your weight into your heels instead of pinching with your knees and you'll be good to go :)

i hate it when a horse spooks because sometimes they bolt and refuse to stop and your holding on and your trying to think about what you should do? to me its scary stuff!
