In 1966 while working as Parts Manager for Dario Ford in Boston, I was at Logan Airport when Ford Motor Company presented 200 Shelby GT350H's to the Hertz Corporation. They were all brand new and lined up side by side by consecutive serial numbers.
What a song...and then there's them fine rides to go with it. I'm making a cd to listen to when im out in the '66. Yeah, that be it. (or maybe make an 8 track!) I still cant bring myself to take that 8 track out. Maybe one day after some therapy with my shrink.
has any one ever herd the story about were people would use to go rent these cars from herts and steal the hipo 289 and replace it with a reguler 289 and return it
